I went into this book with NO background in Docker. I wanted to dip my toe into the waters and find out what Docker is all about.
I found a lot of possibilities in this book. After reading it, I can setup and use basic Docker containers. I understand just how powerful the containers are.
Towards the end of the book, I started fading out, but I have enough to dig in and figure out what I need to figure out.
Bottom line, this book provides the quick start that it promises. It also has links to youtube videos that demonstrate a lot of the code examples from the book. I thought the youtube videos could have had sound and a little bit of post production, but the videos did get the point across.
If you know nothing about Docker, you could do far worse for a quick start than this book.

An excellent book for beginners. You can start with no knowledge of containers and end up knowing quite a good deal on containers. It has a lot of information packed in along with links to online resources. If you are a beginner, you should definitely go through this book.
