28 books160 followersThe first romance novel I ever read was Cinderella! I devoured Disney’s version of romance until I was eleven, and then I discovered Mills & Boons. In those days kissing was the most explicit intimacy disclosed: the hero and heroine went to bed and came out the next day with smiles! I had no idea what happened, but I was intrigued. My mom had shelves and shelves of them. Over the long summer breaks, I barely left my bedroom! My busy parent had no idea what I was up to. I’ve always been fascinated with love stories. I started writing in college, but I never expected anyone would ever read my whimsical musings. LOL! Now years later, after husband and kids, and a solid career in finance I’ve started publishing those early ideas.
I write my stories so that every woman would be inspired to find the other half of themselves. With every story I tell, my Caribbean sisters are highlighted. Our culture is a melting pot of all ethnicities, where love has no color. We love who we love and make no apology for it. These stories are also infused with my love for sports and action thrillers. I’m an avid sports fan. Tennis, football, track and basketball are my favorites. I devour dramas and action movies. So it’s to be expected that my books have a healthy dose of adventure.
Writing romance novels has been a dream I never knew I had. It was born out of suddenly having a little extra time with the kids out of the house. I absolutely love this creative outlet.

Neo, came out at time as an asshole, I feel like kicking his ass, but I understand for a man of his caliber, who knows nothing about weakness, who leave so long without falling in love and now, a slip of a woman making him weak, and all types of way. And as for Chloe, I understand her misguided guilt thinking she is placing her friends in danger...
The twist and turn in this book is full of Intrigues that will keep you enthralled from beginning to end.

It was worth the wait
I had fallen in love with your Guardian series , was always wondering when Neo would get his story.Your stories always have lots of action.This story doesn't disappoints.Neo in my eyes as all the other Seals are Alpha Males, so having a woman could put up with that personality is key.You found the right one.
Trying to get Neo to see and admit that he had found a love of his own Amazing.This book is a page turner.Imagine my surprise when your book turned up as an ad reminded that you had a new book.
Love Neo story and the fact you brought back a characters from some of your other books and blended them into Forever great move.

Love beyond the Stars
Oh my gosh, Neo and Chloe's story is another page turner in this Guardians Series. Once Ms. Mortier disclosed the truth of Neo's roots and the details of planet Parth, I wasn't sure what to expect. But I should have known not to worry, Neo's uniqueness made this such a good read. Neo and Chloe are just as hilarious, interesting, and loving as the other couples in this wonderful series. Wish there were fewer lives lost for the good guys, but glad that our handsome, bada** guys came out on top, and their just as bada** wives did as well. Love the way the other seals, other military and corporate friends of these awesome guys come together when one needs help. Ms. Mortier is definitely on my favorite author list. 👍👍

You can guarantee when you pick up one of Ms. Mortier's books, you are in for a thrilling read. This is Neo's story and it has been long awaited for. In this no electricity the author merges modern a tion with sci-fi as Neo's roots are not on planet Earth. His love interest is one tough lady who can face down anything. We are also re-introduced to the guardians and their kick-ass wives as well as their children. Mortier brings back many of the main characters from her numerous novels. Everyone is rooting for Neo who needs all the advice and help possible to improve his relationship with his mate. It's a fun ride so sit down, buckle up and start reading!!

Don't know what took me so long....
to get back to continuing this series....but I'm so glad I did. I loved this one as much as the others. Don't like to give away anything about the book in my reviews just know that there was as much action, ALL TYPES of action, suspense and laughter from the quips of the characters as is in the other books of the series. Highly recommended.

Really Really Good!!
We finally get Who's story and boy is it a dozy! The writer not only brings the entire gang together but we get to enjoy Xavier as well. This was such excellent storytelling and the dialogue was pretty good. This is one story you are not going to want to miss out on reading.

I would have given it 5 stars except that Malika gave Sean some news at the end but if you did not read "Waiting for You" you have no idea. However I was missing that detail. No spoilers - I enjoyed the entire "The Guardians" series. Could not out then down Highly recommended!

One word almost ruined it for me.
I can’t stand the word cock unless the character is of a certain race. Not only do I hate the usage of the word but it was used so much throughout.
I also could do without so many forced sex scenes. Other than that and the typos it was a decent read.

Neo was a fool
Me and Neo would not have made it. He was mean unnecessarily. Even after he found out about the pregnancy and baby. Just stubborn and cruel at times. I'm still happy they made through the extra drama and bs. I throughly enjoyed all the books in this series but I have to say Sean was my fav.

What a way to end this series!
I loved this series and look forward to reading the rest of her books. Please ignore any negative reviews. Because from beginning to end I was captivated and invested in each storyline. I laughed, smiled and threw my hands up in frustration. Never mind me talking to the characters to get them to see reason. 😁 I wish this series didn't have to read.

Good book
This is my first time reading anything by this author and with what I just read. I will most definitely be reading more. Neo and Chloe. I love their story. Chloe worked my nerves a lot in this book but I still enjoyed reading about her. Neo omg 😍

This story was my favorite out of this series. Chloe was bad ass and so was Neo. I like how blended the stories was and how it was enough drama, action, romance and suspense. You did you thing D.M.! Keep them coming. Thanks for a great read!

DM Mortier Did It Again!
This is still the best book ever! I am rereading this book for the third time and must say it is still one of my favorite paranormal stories. Well written from beginning to ending. This book begins with a bang and never lets up. Neo and Chloe’s love story is raw and full of drama! You will not be disappointed!
