I thought this book was more interesting than it was useful. I dreaded reading this at first. My boss gave it to me in an ongoing self-help, business improvement book exchange thing that we have going on and I was horrified. There’s all sorts of ridiculous business and self-help mumbo jumbo thrown around as its basic concept. I thought it was going to be an absolute chore to get through.
However, as an interesting, quick read, it’s great. If you’re looking for a tangible concept to put into play, I don’t think it quite works. I took a few things away from it, but I don’t think it’s going to completely change my outlook on things. This might be because I actually already agree with a lot about what he’s trying to convey here, so it’s didn’t hit as hard as it’s probably meant to.
3 stars but with a recommendation to read as it’s quick and engagingly written.
