I enjoy these "A Touch of" thrillers. I have not read one for awhile and jumped at the chance to read the 6th book once I discovered it was available. A great action thriller series and I enjoy the characters. Not too deep, good light action thriller stories.

In this sixth entry in the Nick Bracco series, A Russian, who may well qualify as a cyborg goes rogue and has a plan to blow up LA. Nick and the gang try to stop him, but the Russian has a great many resources.

The ending is never really in doubt, but the boys take a real beating in this one.

“A Touch of Terror” by Gary Ponzo was my first read in the Nick Branco thriller series. I loved it from page one. I liked the characters and the non-stop action. This is not my normal genre, but I will be reading the other books in this series.

I enjoyed this book and thank the author and publisher for the Kindle edition I received from Goodreads Giveaways.

A TOUCH OF TERROR (NICK BRACCO THRILLER #6) BY GARY PONZO is my first experience with reading this series and I am hooked. From the very first page you get a non stop kick ass thrill ride.

Nick and his partner are after a rogue Russian who is trying to bring in components for a dirty bomb. This Russian is no ordinary human. He has a bionic eye & a kevlar vest stapled to his body (a little hard to believe about the vest ). This guy will stop at nothing to get and detonate the bomb in the US.
I do have one small issue here and that's the amount of characters. You almost need a scorecard to keep track of all the principals in the book. Other than that , it is a very fast paced read and a very entertaining book.

If you are into the fast paced, us against them type of book A TOUCH OF TERROR is for you.

I recieved this book from goodreads free in exchange for an honest review.

This was a GoodReads giveaway win of a Kindle ebook.

I have not previously read any of the Nick Bracco series. I don't think I missed any important backstory. This book appeared to read well as stand alone.

Overall I liked this story. It came across as well thought out. Our protagonists comes across as a real person and not that "super human" agent.

Personally I like greater details regarding the suitcase nuke and the mini sub, but that is the nerd in me and that type of technology (or plausibility) is not always appreciated by the general audience. So it was best to ignore it and not let it interfere with the overall story telling.

I will have to add this series to my "books to be read" pile.

Have a GoodReads.

There is a lot of action in this book and some heart stopping moments.
Nick Bracco and his partner Matt try to stop a nuclear bomb from entering the United States. A Russian operative, called "The Machine" is ruthless and has a bionic eye. He is hard to track down, as he always has a Plan B. Along with " The Machine" there are other shady characters called the Castillo family, and a dangerous motorcycle gang. So it is a good read.
I did find at least 3 word errors in the book, which did surprise me.

I received this book free from Goodreads for a honest opinion.

The only problem with the Nick Bracco books is there is too much time between them. This one comes out swinging, which is better than starting with a bang, as it starts with the FBI intercepting a nuclear bomb from entering the country. Some would be drug runners become carriers with no clue what they have in the metal container. Would you be leave a Russian was involved? Could happen. Excellent read!

A win from Goodreads Giveaway Amazon Kindle. This is the second book from Gary Ponzo I have won about Nick Bracco. When I won Touch of Greed book 3 I bought 1 & 2 and then 4, In the Beginning, and 5. Love these books! They are about the FBI. So of course they are page-turners! Then there is Tommy and the MAFIA! Yes, MAFIA! Then there are the EVIL Russian MAFIA which are really, really BAD!

This was my first Gary Ponzo Nick Bracco Thriller. It was a Goodreads Giveaway and I'm glad I won! I enjoyed reading this book so thank you for the win! I may just look into more of this series. I liked the characters, the fast pace and humorous banter between the characters. This was a kindle edition and the editing was pretty good.

This is a Goodreads giveaway recipient review.
This is the first book I’ve read in the series. It’s a straight action run. There isn’t so much depth but the action kept me engaged. The end seems clear but there are a few turns along the way to keep the reader on their toes. This is a good escapist adventure read.

If you like consistency in quality from your favorite authors, this one will make you happy. It was another book almost impossible to put down until finished. Of course, it was 5 stars. What else would you expect from Gary Ponzo?

In this sequel of the Nick Bracco Thriller series, Nick plays a more prominent role as the protagonist with his cousin Tommy still make an important contribution but not overshadowing Nick. I particularly enjoyed the ending

This was my first book from Gary Ponzo and his Nick Bracco Thriller. I enjoyed the story and the characters. Didn't seem to miss much starting a series at book 6. I may go back and read some of the earlier ones.

I won this book on goodreads for an honest review

A bit predictable....but that is not a bad thing. The story is written with a fast paced move and the characters are well written, it just seems to move in the direction of other stories we have read before. All in all it was a satisfying read.

A nuclear threat

A nuclear threat that could blow up California was the target. Lots of bad guys and an evil Russian that is part robot. Great detective work.

I read this book in one night, it was that good. The twists and turns and double-crossings in this book are numerous and, in one case, absolutely stunning! The book moves at a brisk pace; the author does not waste time with filler, and there is action seemingly on every page.

This is the 5th book of the series that I’ve read: another winner by Gary Ponzo!
