This wonderful new book from Jewelry Artist and Author Jim McIntosh takes you from the basics of wire art to some very advanced concepts of design. The book has over 390 images that illustrate all of the steps in producing fine wire jewelry. The book is broken down into 3 sections that span 289 pages.
This is by far the most helpful wire-wrapping book I have ever seen. Reading the text is like taking lessons from a master-class instructor with a wicked sense of humor. So why not five stars? The fuzzy black-and-white photography. If I had been offered a choice I would have gladly spent more money on a volume with clear color photos; in fact, if such a text is ever offered I will buy it immediately and either sell or donate this copy. I hope the publisher makes such a volume available, because Wire Wrapping: The Basics and Beyond deserves better. (And while I'm wishing, I would like it even better if had clear color photos AND was spiral-bound!)
I highly recommend this book. There are pictures and instructions for each step which makes it easy to understand. Provides many beautiful projects to try out from which you can develop your own creative designs.
