"The Phoenician Code" is a novel based on astounding historical and religious facts. Manipulated by the underground lobby since the coming of Christ, and revealed today by "The Phoenician Code," those hidden facts come to light to reassess some major realities. Much more than just an antithesis to "The DaVinci Code."What is true and what is false in the Old Testament? What is the relation between Cyrus II and the Babylonian Brotherhood, the founding brothers of the Hebrew people? Why was Cyrus II called the Messiah in the Old Testament? Who were Rashi’s Templars and what were they searching for in Jerusalem? Who was the “Head” they venerated? Who were the Scottish and York Rite Freemasons in some additional degrees and why they considered the Tower of Babel as important as the Temple of Solomon? What is true and what is false in the New Testament? Why have we been manipulated to believe that a Galilean is a Jew, although Galilee has been considered as Gelil Haggoyim, which is translated into “Circle of the Gentiles,” or “Galilee of the Nations,” the “Galilee of the non-Jews.” Was Jesus Galilean-Phoenician? What did the Galileans believe in? Why was Jesus named “Immanuel,” meaning “El with us.” Why were there two Bethlehems?"The Phoenician Code" answers all these questions and more...
I am a Lebanese Author with four published Fiction and Nonfiction books. My work is a mixture of Religion, History, Philosophy, Spirituality and Esoteric inner insights. With over 25 years of extensive research into the Religion and History of the world with a special focus on the Canaanite-Phoenician and Egyptian Traditions as well as the Christian Religion, Mr. El Koussa has gathered a well rounded knowledge in the writing of specialized books that are acknowledged, awarded and widely read.
Life itself is nothing but a deep hidden insight, emerging out of the Mind of God, a Journey, which I am trying to discover—a strange, yet magnificent Journey inside the Human Life.
It has always been a query of the Human mind to know and comprehend the world we are living in and the world that lies beyond.
Philosophy, Religion, and Science have been the Knights that have fought the great battle; the lifting of the veil of the unknown.
Humanity, however, has been embedded in a labyrinth, one that very few escape. This liberation that we're all seeking as Human Beings, does not occur through the belief in Philosophical, Religious and Scientific «Dogmas & I repeat Dogmas,» but rather through the free will and the in-depth implication with & into their Esoteric hidden side - with & into OUR inner Spirituality.
As Above so Below, echoed in the ears of the wise. These few Initiates recognized in man the Microcosm of the Macrocosm. It is upon each one of us to seek Individual Consciousness, thus to be able to commune a Collective one.
It is now the age of the Homo-Cosmicus. So Meditate on the Human Potential of Becoming Cosmic on the image of Christ.
Grrrrr..... Really frustrating, the originality of the author's ideas are brilliant but the structure of the story, writing style and "supernatural" aspects are disappointing. He introduces characters, builds them up and then they simply disappear never to be heard from again. The majority of the book is lecturing "monologues", though interesting have such an air of condescension about them to make them sound sophomoric. In fact it seems that the whole purpose of this book is merely for the "monologues" the characters and stories all being small backdrop details. The story doesn't flow easily, jumps around sporadically with way too many "coincidences". It is even more irritating than Dan Brown's "Da Vinci Code" though his ideas are better than Dan Brown' in my opinion.
I did enjoy how the author tied together varying controversial theories to present an alternative narrative to the Old and New Testament stories. This is where the author truly shined, most of these ideas were completely new to me and I found myself researching every claim to see if their was any truth or validity to it. I was surprised to see how viable these theories really are. I thought the author was going to turn the story into a political one to advocate some anti-Israeli sentiment but he stopped just short of that end.
My recommendation to the author, build up those other characters more, have better tie-ins, maybe develop more of the relationship between them. Avoid the coincidental dramatic escapes, not only are they hard to believe they make the story even more far-fetched and outlandish. The ending was way too abrupt, this book could have used another 200 pages of context to wrap up the story nicely.
That being said, I still tip my hat to the author, there is a serious need for more understanding in regard to Phoenician History. They played a much bigger role in the major events of Ancient History than is fully appreciated or even realized. I am always intrigued with all things Phoenician.
Reading The Phoenician Code was an exceptional experience for me, since I was exposed to astonishing facts and revelations instilled in an enthralling narrative. This book reminds me of our Lord Jesus’ words in Matthew 10:26, “There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known”. The book does exactly that by unfolding the truth about the origin of Jesus that has been concealed from the world and manipulated by secret societies. I also found it very interesting how The Phoenician Code debunks the story of the Holy Grail that is extolled in The Da Vinci Code by revealing the true identity and intention of the Knights Templar. One of the novel’s major points of strength is the author’s reliance on etymology, which I found highly significant in the sense that it excellently supports his theories and adds to their authenticity. I strongly recommend this book for everyone. You will discover a plethora of interesting facts and end up enlightened.
So the ancients saw the Sun rise, the Sun set and the Sun rise again. Feelings began to attach: birth of the Sun, death of the Sun, resurrection of the Sun. This concept was dropped in the batter of time and stirred, stirred and stirred until the initial concept was clouded and "mythified." It became Isis and Osiris, Jesus, and many more culturally-based ideas. "The Phoenician Code", to me, sums up the myths, and traces the threads of birth, death and resurrection through the Canaanite culture, the great land which today comprises Lebanon, Israel and Palestine. We search, along with Paul, our hero, to discover Truth with a capital underscored and bolded "T". Your religion is not what you think it is, nor where you thought it was created. This is an eye-raising account of ancient history, preserved by the few, and, before it ends, given to the world.
I read that extraordinary book,,, the facts of that time was good writes and well organized without any space for explanations or for any doubt of these facts,,, and I am very proud to have a Lebanese person like Mr. Karim El Koussa who is interested in a subject of a old history, and adjusted it very well,,, I wish that a day or another,,, can be seen as a film that everyone can well account for the origin of the lord of that world,,, and earth mother of all worlds ... the land of Phoenicia-Canaanite...
Outstanding!! The author stated in his biography: "My work is a mixture of Religion, History, Philosophy, Spirituality and Esoteric inner insights.", this summarizes "The Poenician Code". Every chapter exposes new facts that keep you wondering. A thrill that walks you into a journey all along your reading. The story itself is written in a spectacular way that ease your visualization of its aspects. It's an amazing book and I enjoyed every second reading it. Great work...
I stumbled on this book while searching for some solid history of the Phoenicians. The publisher’s blurb sent my skepticism into overdrive when I noted the book is described as a “fictional novel,” an irritating redundancy, perhaps an editorial oversight or more likely stupidity. That being said, reviewers keep talking about the “facts” in the book despite the double warning that it’s a novel and fiction. Of course there’s always the possibility that the novel, being fictional, doesn’t exist.
I loved this novel although the ending wasn't as "great" as I expected. It contains very interesting historical information and analysis on some aspects of Christ's life and phoenician history and rituals. Although I am not an expert in Middle Eastern history, this novel was able to grab my attention all along and made me always want to know what was going to happen next.
A church father calls together three individuals, one a historian, another an alchemist and still another an archaeologist. Together they are called upon to decipher an ancient tablet unearthed at the Phoenician city of Gebel. Central to this story is the building of Solomon’s Temple by Hiram Abiff. Hiram was Phoenician.
Before embarking on the church father’s quest , Paul the Historian, goes to a symposium on biblical archaeology. He gives a speech that denies the existence of Israel before the Babylonian exile. Citing the lack of archaeological proof as the reason why. He speculates that Ancient Israel was a historical hoax. Soon he is set upon by killers dressed in black suits. Turns out they are from the Babylonian Brotherhood.
This spirals Paul on a historical quest at the same time avoiding the Babylonian Brotherhood. Along the way he comes across documents explaining the Templar’s and their agenda and how it extends into the Scottish Right Masons. Documents that explain the real identity of Jesus and the real story behind the birth of Israel.
At the end he joins with the Great White Fraternity after he receives stolen document from Iraq. The author has a theory that many people will find wild. There is a lot we do not know about when it comes to Jesus or even that time in history. He may have been Phoenician or an Israelite following a Phoenician religion. Saying that Israel was created by the Persians after they sacked Babylon May come as far fetch but many aspects of Judaism were molded in a Babylonian exile.
As in all of his works, Karim El Koussa puts a monumental amount of work in research and analysis... The Phoenician Code was no different. A book of revelation by excellence. Many of the information were either new to me or answered interrogations I always had in mind. Karim is blessed by both history acquaintance and history imagination, two traits that are essential to question and rectify many historical manipulations that were and still considered as historical facts. Whether you agree with the author or not, the book will surely trigger your curiosity to dig deeper, and personally I will be reading Jesus the Phoenician as it holds more revelations. The novel is getting a US TV series and I hope it would be a great one.
I have read many books , whether fictional, mystery, thriller and I can honestly say that the Author has with no doubt in my mind written one of the best books of our time. The Phoenician Code is an amazing book. The Author takes you on a historical journey that never leaves your sense of being thus experiencing every event taking place. As you are reading this book you unconsciously see yourself a character living a particular event which can only make you wanting more of this great Novel. Mr Karim El Koussa is one of the best Authors I have to say.
Really enjoy the book. I love history and having been fortunate enough to have been able to travel to Lebanon two years ago I find myself drifting back to when I was right there in Byblos walking through the ruins in awe with a special appreciation for the Phoenicians. This book brings into light the excitement of the archaeologists, of their discoveries and of more to come. Well written story with intrigue mystery and historical facts. I’ve already ordered another book written by same author, Jesus The Phoenician. Anxious to receive it!
Such an exceptional book , every page keeps one clinging to the next . The author’s capability in revealing facts coupled with historical inputs and putting them all Together. At a moment it all sounded like A Druid working on his cauldron ,making the Perfect Finish’Simply amazing . Highly recommended to all ,each one of us could find something we are looking for. Thank you Mr Karim El Koussa
