This is an emotionally roller coaster ride that becomes a messed-up love triangle. Si has had a rough childhood especially after she loses her parents at a young age. She encounters child abuse that no child should endure. She finds a best friend in Kyle who becomes her high school sweetheart. After high school graduation she decides to go abroad to London to go to college. She is heartbroken to leave Kyle behind but decides their relationship will survive the long distance because of how much Kyle means to her and she loves him with everything. Her world stops when Kyle breaks her heart and decides to turn to another woman for the comfort he is missing from Si. Then you have Blake Knightly who becomes a great friend to Si and wants to sweep her up and take care of her. He stands in the background and waits patiently for Si to be ready for more then a friend zone relationship. After a quick trip home for peace of mind and closure with her relationship with Kyle, everything goes out of control. Si has great friends who support her in London and will help her through the chaos. Blake decides he doesn’t want to wait another minute and wants to claim Si for himself. Blake has a secret that could tear his world apart and lose Si. They have firework worthy attraction to each other but with lies, betrayal, and jealous getting out of hand will their relationship last? Of course, Kyle decides he made a mistake and will do whatever it takes to get Si back no matter what. Blake is not willing to let Si go. Their relationship is so toxic not sure it can survive Kyle try to come in-between them. Si can’t turn her back on her best friend and high school sweetheart even though he broke her heart into pieces. Will Blake and Si love survive, or will Kyle tear them apart forever? Of course, you have Toby and Lucy who is a big part of Si and Blake’s life. Toby and Lucy have love for each other that runs so deep it hurts. Toby’s mother and grandmother exchanges words with Lucy that her world will come crashing down. How will Toby and Lucy survive? You will keep turning the page to find out. This is a very intense and passion love stories with lots of drama and chaos and who knows if anyone will get their happy ending. I can’t wait to read the next box set in this series.

This was the first series that I read after hitting a reading slump and let me just say after reading this I waved goodbye to my slump and instead a beast took its place. This series has been one of my favourite series ever. The investment I have in these books are actually shocking. In Blake and sienna.

Love, hate, and sexy people make it all the more exciting.

Pamela Ann writes a great story. The details and characters are so vivid it was like they are real. Blake and poppet are fire and ice. Can't wait to continue the journey and see what's next. I'm so excited. :)

Thought provoking, passionate and emotional. You can't help but root for each character to survive and succeed and at the same time want to bash them over the head to wake them up. Can't wait to open the rest of the series to see how it ends....

Drama

The romance is good when it’s good as in steamy good, but the back & forth drama is a lot. These are not teenagers they are adults and I sometimes wondered if I read their ages right cause the drama reminded me of high school.
