Funny, fast paced, and surprising

Oh man! This story was full of action, hilarious banter, and intrigue. I have to admit that I had guessed who the villain was, so it wasn’t much surprise, but the twists still threw me off. And that surprise end in the condo! Ah, did NOT expect that! I’ve loved this series and can’t wait to hear more about the Moms!

Declan is easily offended, “most yuppies do,” was her retort as the elevator doors opened and she sauntered out. He ogled her backside. Yuppie? She thinks I’m a yuppie. It made the mercenary inside bristle. What an insult..." Declan sure likes to bring up his woman's finer qualties to her, “I get that. You like to hog the bed.” He wiggled under her splayed body. “You’ll want to put tampons in the cupboard. Yogurt in the fridge.” I liked this book, I loved Declan.

These two definitely kept things hopping! Never a dull moment, never a missed opportunity to lock horns, and always chasing after danger instead of away from it. I loved the quick pace, the great banter, and, of course, the little diva <3

Precious Cargo!!!

Audrey, a single mother of a baby girl named Harper who worked for an agency (KILLER MOMS) who gave teenage moms who had nowhere else to turn to a chance at becoming strong, independent and sinfully skilled women. When someone tried to kidnapped her bundle of joy, she did the one thing she could to keep her safe. She left her with people she knew will protect her with their lives.

Declan Hood, the computer wiz at Bad Boy Inc. got the shock of his life one night when he found a baby girl with a note attached to blanket saying he was the father. He wasn't going to believe anything until he had the results of the DNA test he did.

But he couldn't bring Harper to work with him so he did what any responsible person would do, he hired a nanny. The latter was beautiful inside out and a delightful temptation. One he tried staying away from which wasn't an easy task.

Edith, a very multitasking and talented nanny who was send by the agency she worked to Declan's house to do a job. She never expected to fall for the sexy, smart and dangerous man.

There were dangerous people who wanted to kidnap his baby, oh what a grave mistake they've made. Audrey's latest mission has her and Bad Boy Inc working together to take care of a very dangerous person.

Edith was more than beneath the eyes, when her cover was blown. Declan saw her in a new light. They grew closer, they were a force to be reckoned with when the villains came after their precious baby girl. It was great to catch up with old characters and meet new ones.

KILLER DADDY is the fifth book in Eve Langlais' BAD BOY INC. series. It was intriguing, alluring, and filled with unexpected twists and turns. Definitely a must read. 5++++

It didn't sit well with me that the female lead gave her baby to the male lead...if I were a mother, I wouldn't give my baby up, much less to a complete stranger.

This one was not a top 3 in series for me, but it was good. I enjoyed how Declan transformed and fell for Audrey and Harper. There were a few things that had me scratching my head and some farfetched details, but who reads/listens to HEA Romance for its totally realistic qualities? It was nothing I couldn’t suspend my snark over with a small reminder of that.

Still, there was one point that seemed to wander off track from where the plan was originally going. I don’t do spoilers, so I’ll just mention it had to do with them attending the open house. It may have just been me missing something while working and listening to audio. I chose not to go back and nitpick it to be sure since I was busy and it was only a mild annoyance.

The story itself was engaging and had all the feels I expect from the author. The narrator did a fine job with the audio. While the story was pretty well telegraphed and predictable, it was still fun and kept my attention solid enough to finish in just 2 days of listening. If you like Eve L., then you will likely enjoy this one too. It’s a fine addition to the series. I liked Declan throughout and was happy to see him get his HEA.

The females in this one are all badasses, having their own ladies version of BBI. They were fun to “watch” show the men a thing or two as they ultimately ended up working together. Harper is adorable as expected for a baby and quickly wraps her hand around Declan’s heart.

In summary, I give this a solid 4.0 stars. Worth reading or listening if you prefer that method. Probably not one I’ll go back to multiple times though. YMMV.

Single mom, and assassin, Audrey, is about to leave on an assignment when something seems off w the replacement nanny. A quick double back confirms her suspicion that someone was attempting to kidnap her 11 mo daughter. With a job to do, and no nanny, Audrey leaves baby Harper at the home of BBI operative, Declan. When Declan opens the door, he finds a baby and a note saying that she’s his. After an epic freak out, Declan begins the search for a nanny, with the intention of performing a DNA test to determine paternity. He reluctantly hires the most qualified nanny...reluctantly, because she’s bossy as he!! and Declan is attracted to her. When the offices of BBI are broken into, we learn that the nanny, Edith, and Harper’s mom, Audrey, are one and the same. Turns out that she is investigating one of Declan’s real estate clients and search for a lost artifact. BBI and Killer Moms (Audrey’s employer) team up to recover the artifact, as well as determine who’s trying to kidnap the baby. As with the earlier books in the series, there is lots of action, suspense and sexy times. Author Eve Langlais has done it again...The story is well written and holds the reader’s attention throughout. It also helps that narrator, Rebecca Mitchell, perfectly portrays each character. I am hooked on this series and can’t wait for the next book!!

Declan is a member of the Bad Boys, Inc. team. An assassin for hire, a man who gets things done, and real estate agent par excellence. He enjoys life free from romantic entanglements, and always makes sure to “cover up” when going in. However, apparently at one point, his protection must have failed. He finds a baby on his doorstep with a note congratulating him on being a Daddy. Now what? He’s got no room in his life for a baby, and has no idea who the Mommy is who left little Harper with him.

First thing’s first – get a DNA sample to confirm she is his. Second – get a nanny to take care of the little one. Enter Edith – a walking temptation, who has no idea what she’s gotten into. When multiple attempts are made to kidnap Harper, Declan’s Daddy Bear protective instincts go into overdrive. He’s got to save her and get to the bottom of this.

I love the Bad Boy, Inc. series, and each one can stand alone – but it’s a great series to read front to back. A lot of adventure, snark, comedy, and romance. Witty banter is the hallmark of this author, and she draws you into the story, so you feel like you’re there watching it all.

In the fifth Bad Boy book, realtor and assassin Declan is minding his own business when a knock on his very secure door followed by cries of "waaa" have him jumping out of bed.
He opens the door to see a baby with a sign that says "congratulations Daddy"
Panicking, he phones boss Harry, who after much laughter, advises him to get supplies and hide a nanny.
He does, but unfortunately she's sexy as hell.
This one is great fun as Declan learns about the mom, starts to adore the baby and use his fighting skills to defeat diapers.
It also introduces the reader to another agency like Bad Boy Inc, targets it's own spin off series in Soccer Mom.
This series is addictive.

Declan is a Bad Boy Inc. realtor/mercenary, who finds a baby on his doorstep. Because of his womanizing ways, he thinks it’s perfectly possible that the kid might be his. He sends a sample to the lab for testing to find out for sure, and starts looking for a nanny to help him care for the kid. Both the adorable baby and the hot nanny bring complications into his life that he wasn’t expecting, including falling for both while battling bad guys who are after the baby. This was an addictive read, that I would have binged in one sitting if I could have. It was that fast-paced and fun!

A sudden case of daddy..... It's understandable that most men wouldn't know how to cope with sudden fatherhood. Most women have an equally difficulty coping with unplanned motherhood. That's what makes an EL story so wonderful, the way she takes a normal situation and adds just the right amount of ridiculous to keep you entertained by the offbeat characters trying to cope with a typical situation in less than a typical manner.
It goes without saying that the characters are well developed as well as the plot. The one drawback to this story was the predictability of the plot.

When Declan finds baby Harper on his doorstep with a note announcing he was the daddy, I could feel his panic. And him trying to hire a nanny sent me into the stratosphere. When you put him with Killer Mom Audrey you get electricity, the two of them fighting their attraction was entertaining even though you knew where they'd end up in the end. When you throw in the bad guy and I thought I'd figured this out then Eve threw me for a loop, the real bad guy was a woman. The one thing that left me hanging was who was the leak?

KILLER DADDY is the fifth in Eve Langlais’s Bad Boys Inc series, and features assassin/high-end realtor Declan Hood and KM operative Audrey Edith…

When a baby shows up on Declan’s doorstep claiming he’s the daddy, his first priority is getting some help. But he finds himself fighting an attraction to the nanny he needs to help care for the cutie pie he’s falling for…

A completely entertaining story with some fun twists…

Declan is so cute! Hahaha. Love him. And so cool that Audrey is such a badass.

Though I have to admit, springing a baby on a guy, pretending he's the father isn't nice. Still...it made a nice story and it's great how Declan and Audrey came together.

This story was a great way to introduce KillerMomsInc.

Who doesn't like a kick ass heroine. Not just in attitude but real life skills. That she could end yourr existance if you go after her children and get away with it is very satisfying.😘 She's got real ninja skills man!!!💖 And the male lead. Just yummyliscious. Cone on admit it. You would drool in real life if a man like this really existed.😘

This was a great book. I really enjoyed listening to it. Low on angst but good & decent plot with good action and a small amount of suspense. I really liked the banter between the MC’s. I like how strong & skilled she was. Their relationship was cute and I can see how they can fall for each other. I recommend reading this book if you want something light & entertaining with a cute romance.

Not as action packed as I‘d hoped, but pretty good. My first read of the BBI series. I have several books by this author. Always a good read. The villain was easy to figure out, but the twist was a shocker. Highly recommend.
