What a great read!
I've read the three Everett bros books and this is definitely the favorite! It was lovely to see the old characters Blue and Hunter and Harry and Carter. The brothers are so funny when they get together and the reader will have many laughs.
River is an escort and he offers a BDSM experience but he has two rules he never kisses and no sex. He graduated from Law school but hasn't been able to get a job in his field. He's a beautiful characters as the reader gets to know him it's hard not to love him.
Gray decides to avoid all the questions at his brothers wedding so he decides to get an escort to go with him. Gray is so shocked when a man turns up as his escort. Gray is a straight man but decides to go with it and take River to his brothers wedding.
As the two get to know each other they start to like each other but each has their own problems to overcome.
Gray doesn't understand why his body reacts the way it does to spanking River. What Gray does know is he feels full of regret when he sees the marks on River after a spanking.
River doesn't think he good enough for someone like Gray but he falls for him and his family anyway. River enjoys being spanked and he's happy with his role as a sub. He doesn't expect others to understand him or his needs. It does hope to find someone who does get him.
This book is the story of how these two men with the help of some wonderful brothers comes to terms with who they are. They need to find a way to make this work because they both need to have that special person in their lives.
This is a lovely story that the reader can get lost in. Well written and a lovely edition to the Everett bros series. I can't recommend this book and this series strongly enough. I can't wait to see what Candice Blake gives us next.

uhm, so I wanted to like this book and the basic premise is a popular one. However, I didn't like this book on so many levels that I find it impossible to give it even one star.
Why?
1. Lack of editing. Sentences that do not follow English grammar. Misspellt words. Past tense of verbs created on a whim rather than by checking if that is actually the past tense of that word. (ARGH!). Please author learn english or use an editor who is famililar with the language.
2. Totallly inconsistent characters! And out of this world $ amounts!
Gray in particular is a billionaire who buysa 20 million $ house after seeing it for 5 minutes, yet refuses to buy a bed or other furniture and sleeps on a mattress? (let alone the fact that the moisture of sleeping people will seep through the mattress and rot/mold away your carpet underneath if not lifted for airing regularly!) a 40+ dude used to the best will not prefer to sleep on a mattress because it's not easy to get up.
He also doesn't buy a car but rents the highest end models.
He doesn't want furniture but has tailor made suits?
He doesn't "care what others think of him" but hesitates to be seen with a man?
He doesn't want others to think of him as being gay but introduces River as his boyfriend to a tailor?
He dresses conservatively, yet when he comes to the casino he unbuttons his shirt and wears a gold chain like a cheap 1970s porn star?
He sells his company in Hong Kong for one and a half a billion $, but offers his brother and brother in law to live in his guest house so they can get on their feet financially and hackles aover money and who pays the bill for room service? Miserably mean much? I mean half a billion dollars comes to $1500 million. I mean when you have that much money and your brother is struggling to get on his feet financially after adopting a baby you buy them a moderate house some place. Something for $1 million and sign over the title so they can have a start. I mean it's not that they will ask for more. And he has plenty to share.
He is a practical thinking guy yet buys an office where clients have to walk up to the third floor to ge to his office? Stupid much?
He doesn't like spanking River, but builds a whole dungeon room for him (in no time and without letting builders come in or letting us know how he actually managed to hang the swing when he doesn't own a drill t bless himself with), while he still hasn't got a stick of furniture to sit on?
He takes care of his brother's baby but when River turns up he dumps the baby in a play pen and goes down into the basement having a session with River and can't even hear downthere is the baby sleeps or cries. Also has been drinking a bottle of wine while looking after the baby.
Gray and his brothers constantly do "shots" as if it was the only thing they knew how to spend their time and that despite both River and Blue and Harry not being able to hold their liquor and getting drunk too fast.
For someone who isn't even into guys Gray is too keen to start rimming River.
Gray has done nothing but run a lawyer business- where the heck is he getting calloused hands from???
Gray gives River $10K to go on the batchelors get away with him, then makes the decision that RIver must spend it all that day and put the entire sum on one bet at the Roulette. WTF? Since when is the person who pays you for work done entitled to tell you how you must spend it.
Gray won't buy a bed for himself but buys a bed for the sex dungeon?
Other inconsistencies and strange happenings:
One of the fathers of the baby gets given the baby to carry while he is drunk.
Blue and River switch ID's in the casino for no apparent reason and use.
Most of the characters didn't have their own voice - as in character differentiation. Half the stuff out of their mouths were empty platitudes, page fillers, word count creators.
Wedding was totally unrealistic and felt like typical american over-doing things in the movie world.
Bad form also in the BDSM/sex department:
1. Gray and River engage in BSDM where River's hands are tied too tightly (knuckles turn white) but neither of them takes care to check blood supply to "play safely.
2. Same with the hand cuffs during their casino stay. Hand cuffed to the bed frame all night very tightly!!! After their scene River's hands were already number, yet he remained restrained like that all night? His hands would have sufferedpermanent damage that way. And poor River never has any visible marks from such restraints or any blood supply issues. Inappropriate and irresponsible writing that comes off as if written by someone who hasn't got the first idea about BDSM.
3. They have several scenes and not one fo them arranges for a safe word. At the very least River as the professional BDSM escort should have arranged for one. WTF???
4. There is little or no aftercare after the spankings.
5. The scene with the swing was either badly described or physically impossible. (Gray tied Rivers arms and legs to the swin with zip ties???? How would that work?) And was River right side up or upside down. No idea. Badly described. Andwhat rope is River using to swing the swing? None of that makes sense.
6. Neither River nor Gray think of bringing condoms to a weekend away?
7. Neither River nor Gray have lube but use massage oil?
8. Gray fingering River without River cleaning himself first and then scooping up Rivers cum and feeding it to him with the smae fingers? gastro in the making.
Ok. So, all up, I didn't like this book. And am unlikely to read another one by this author.

Gray
So this story was about the elusive older brother Gray. It was interesting enough. Gray hired River by accident because he wanted an escort to attend Blue's wedding. There appear to be a connection but things !over quickly and the reasoning for River's need and desire to engage in BDSM activities was a bit weak. But it was nice to see all 3 brothers and their significant others interact!

This book is in desperate need of an editor. It started out really well. Once the first kiss happened, the story and the writing all went to hell. This felt like I was reading a rough draft. Basically writing to get the general concept, but now she needs to have an editor go through and give suggestions on how to improve. I got to 43% and just couldn’t bring myself to read farther.
Read more books that are well written mm to see how other authors approach the straight to gay trope (Riley Hart, Sean Ashcroft, and Romeo Alexander are good examples). For instance, when Gray is in crisis mode after an act, he could talk to his brother about it, since the brother was supposedly straight before finding his boyfriend. Then read some mm kink (Cara Dee’s The Game series is good. Her Touch series covers a variety of kinks. Quinn Ward, most of her books involve a Daddy kink. Shaw Montgomery writes a series with spin-offs called Bound and Controlled. Nora Phoenix does Daddy kink and some of the less well known kinks. These are writers that I consider to be some of the best when it comes to writing epic kink stories) to see how to structure a scene and what would follow bdsm safety guidelines. You don’t want someone reading your books and then trying something and inadvertently hurting their partner.
Gray should have been on his phone Googling spankings and bondage since that’s what his boy likes. There are so many things that could be improved to make this story on par with stories by the above mentioned authors.
Edit, rewrite, and polish this up and it has the potential to be a 4.5-5 star story.

I enjoyed this. Brand new author for me and I love discovering new writers. This is #3 in a series and I did not read the first two prior to reading this one. However, that did not prove to be a problem at all. In fact, after reading about Gray and River , I now want to give the other two a go.
I liked the premise of the story. Interesting use of the trope. This does feature BDSM but super light (which is what I like). Yet, I felt that there could have been more consideration to BDSM as a lifestyle. River kept saying he’d introduce Gray to BDSM slowly, but he didn’t. They also did not discuss boundaries, rules, or what BDSM entails. Which is more than just spanking or pain for pleasure. I’d rate this more of 3.75 stars so closer to 4, but not just quite.
In addition, the teeter totter of emotion between the two was a little much. Gray did not treat River the best (at first), and River did not take into consideration how new this would be for Gray.

Love it. We finally get to see all three Everett brothers together in one book.
Gray is back after selling his law firm. His baby brother is settling down and getting married. He realises how much of their lives he has missed out in and didn’t want Harry’s baby growning up without knowing his uncles.
When blue suggests that he brings a date to his wedding Gray decided to contact an escort agency saves the hassle of trying to find some one in time. But with a little miss understanding and a lot of passion grays life is turned upside down and inside out by a spanking loving guy.
At first I didn’t like Gray he was definitely my least favourite of the brothers but by the end he had a place in my heart just like his brothers.
It’s a story about opening your eyes to what you might least expect and learning not to care about what others think. Fantastic story telling by an excellent author who gets better and better each new story.

But a mistaken call leads to BdSM make escort River showing up at the door instead of the female he was expecting. Oh well, why not go forth with the plan? He can pretend to be gay and hire this intriguing man to play his boyfriend. But what about when pretend turns real?
This was a good read. Although it could be read as a stand alone, it's even better if read as part of the series and you know all the characters. I liked River and Gray and their interactions... they were pretty sexy but had sweet moments.

We get Gray’s HEA!!
I’ve often wondered about Gray since he was first mentioned. I really enjoyed learning about him and seeing the journey he took as he fell for River. River’s story is something that probably happens more often then many would like to admit: have the degree but no job. Meeting Gray causes his life to take a turn that he wasn’t expecting.

omg this book had all the feels, i loved River. he's the sweetest sub ever! Gray hires an escort for his brother's wedding, and is surprised when it's a man, more surprised when spanking River turns him on. i loved all the characters in this book, i laughed out loud a couple times. really well written. would def recommend.

A great story that is a wonderful addition to this series. Gray is finally home and needs a date for Blue's wedding. When he hires an escort, it's not quite what he expected. Supposedly straight Gray is given a male escort, River. Their attraction and chemistry are strong and Gray may not be so straight after all! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Nope, this was a little cringeworthy from the beginning, which I put down to the writing style/level. However, by halfway I'd realised this was just a story about a dickish MC masquerading as really poor BDSM. No Thanks!

Gary's playroom was such a incredible intense beautiful and addictive story I loved it so much
