This ebook contains 800 Finnish flashcards, one every two pages. It is ideal for beginners and intermediate learners of Finnish to acquire those most important initial words that make up the majority of everyday conversation. Various features like bidirectional listing or multiple random study orders make this Finnish flashcard ebook the perfect tool on your Kindle to boost your language skills.
This ebook is split into chapters of 100 vocabularies each. Each vocabulary covers two pages. Page one represents the question in the form of the vocabulary you should translate. Page two delivers the answer with translation and additional information for that word if needed. On page two you will also see four options on how to move on. Next will simply take you to the next vocabulary in the regular order. Random 1-3 on the other hand represent 3 more ways to go through the chapter which allows you to study the words in various orders and makes it less likely that you will remember word 51 just because it comes after word 50, something that automatically happens when you study vocabularies in the same order over and over again. Once you have finished studying a chapter and you know all vocabularies, go on to the next one.
Part one and two of the book contain the same 800 vocabularies in the same order, just the task for your brain is quite different. Part one is from English to Finnish which is of great help especially for speaking. Part two is from Finnish to English and should help with listening and reading.
The most important part of using flashcards successfully is to use them daily. Studying 100 words a day every day of a week will have a much bigger impact than studying 700 words once a week. Once you know most words in a chapter, write down the ones you still have trouble with and concentrate on those few words several times a day. Once you have moved on to a later chapter, it is also good practice to come back to early chapters from time to time to make sure the easier words are still in your memory. Over time, you will figure out what works best for you. Good luck!
