Its finally happened for Savannah. She is about to find out how much she has angered other people due to her addiction to Vincent. What she didn't realize is how much danger she is about to be in because of it. Its ongoing, the danger. Many people want to see her get out of the way and the price tag on her head keeps rising.
But Vincent... he doesn't want to let her go again. He's determined to be the man she needs and that's that. Their chemistry is still off the charts.
Does good chemistry weigh out possible death?
Vincent and Savannah are not free from the underworld politics nor will they ever be. What neither of them realized is how much those politics control them.
Is their love going to be enough to risk relocating? Once you're in, there is no coming out unless its in a body bag. But does Vincent love Savannah enough to turn his back on omerta?
Ahh, I was not sure how this author was going to top Tipsy but she did. Lush is just as much of a time suck Don't start this book unless you want your entire day consumed. It is THAT good. In this one, the author picks right up where Tipsy leaves off which is great. Savannah and Vincent are still navigating and I love how the story doesn't feel rushed. It feels like it organically evolves. The twist at the end will get you though. I figured it was going to be something like that so while not unexpected, still kind of a surprise.
Freaking loved it! Just when i thought things couldn't get any crazier it does! Wow! There were so many emotions I felt while reading this book. Again the details are awesome! I can't believe she has been through all of the things she has yet stays strong well strong enough as she can be given the circumstances that come at her. So much is thrown at her that I think she'll give up but she doesn't. I can't wait to finish this series!
Poor Savannah can’t catch a break. All she wants is her happily-ever-after with her Prince Charming but life never goes according to plan. Definitely must read this series in order as their are key plot elements in each. There needs to be another round of editing as well.
Lush (Intoxicated series Book2) by Eden Rose is Amazing as Vincent and Savannah's story continues. I was literally glued to the pages from start to finish!
I loved Vincent even more in book two. He is sweeter and tries so much harder. You can tell that his feelings are truly genuine. And Savannah lets us know just how deeply she has fallen for Vincent.
There is a lot of suspense and angst throughout the story and it lets you see how this lifestyle can really affect their lives and everyday motions. It shows you how tough it can be for them and how it can impact trying to have a normal relationship. And it is hard!!
I went from loving the characters to hating them and then back to loving them, again. So much happens and it's all overwhelming to take in sometimes but it makes you adore them even more. The love they all have for one another is remarkable. Especially Vincent and Savannah adoration for each other.
I cannot wait for Book Three of The Intoxicated Series to be released! I am dying to know what happens next with Vincent and Savannah!! Props to Eden Rose on an incredible, suspenseful, and sexy love story. I loved it and highly recommend this book.
There's so much going on in this book it's hard to know where to start this review.
Savannah has now realised on many people she has angered due to her addiction to Vincent. In this book we read how much she has well and truly fallen for him and his feelings for her so true and genuine.
We look into their lifestyle effects their life's and daily motions. It's so well written you feel how tough it is for them to have a "normal" relationship.
My heart was in my mouth when a hit is put on Savannah's head? Will Joel ever give up and realize that he's lost Savannah for good? What and who is behind her disappearance?
All Savannah and Vincent are each other. And when they finally get some time alone and sort things out they get married. But you feel it as your reading the that this marriage isn't going to be plain sailing.
You will not be able to work out the ending as it was nothing I expected it to be.
What an epic continuation of the first book. There was so much that went on in this book. Will Vincent & Savannah ever get together? Will Joel ever let Savannah go? What happens when a hit is taken out on Savannah? Who does it and why? After Savannah is shot, who kidnaps her from the hospital, supposedly for her own protection? Does Vincent find her again? If so, what does he do? If not, what happens next for him? The ending of the book is a mind blowing read. It's like WOW, holy crud! I was most certainly NOT expecting what I read there at the end of the book. I cannot wait for the third part of this series. I suspect it will be an even more epic conclusion than this continuation.
RECEIVED THIS BOOK AS A GIFT FOR A FAIR/HONEST REVIEW and REVIEWER FOR Bloggin' With M.Brennan.
I said this about the first book and the same holds for the second one. There were lots of typos and passages I had to read over and over to make sense of but I finished the book because I liked the story. I'll probably read the third book.
