A Pocket Guide to the Rosary helps Catholics deepen their prayer life and improve their ability to pray what St. Padre Pio called “the weapon of our times”—the Rosary. Drawing from the writings of the saints, the Bible, and Catholic tradition, Matt Fradd has produced a book that every Catholic should read. Its small size makes it easy to carry to adoration, keep around for family Rosary night, or hand out at your parish. Catholics who find it difficult to enter into the mysteries of the Rosary, or who need some encouragement and inspiration to pray this essential Catholic prayer, will deeply appreciate this small but powerful book. In this essential book, Matt Fradd ● How to truly meditate on the mysteries on the Rosary. ● Major saints’ methods to pray the Rosary. ● Carefully chosen biblical passages to reflect on for each mystery. Here's how it 1. Overview of each mystery, with biblical quotes to help you establish context and focus your mind 2. Insight on each mystery from the writings of the saints and Church Fathers 3. Personal applications for each mystery, so you can further apply these mysteries to your own life and invite God to be a part of it
Matthew Fradd is Australian by birth and Catholic by choice. After experiencing a profound conversion at World Youth Day in Rome in 2000, Matthew committed himself to inviting others to know Jesus Christ and the Church He founded. As a missionary in Canada and Ireland, Matthew proclaimed the Gospel to over ten thousand teens and young adults. Matthew has also served the Church through full-time lay ministry in Australia,Ireland, Canada, and Texas. Matthew has been seen or heard on the BBC, EWTN, The Irish Morning Show, and Catholic Answers Live, where he has shared his personal story of sin, redemption, and healing to people all over the world.
Recently, Matthew, his fearless Texan wife, and their three beautiful children (Liam, Avila, and baby on the way) moved to sunny San Diego where Matthew now works as an Apologist and Speaker with Catholic Answers. Matthew best demonstrates his infectious passion for the faith when he speaks about the many wounds that pornography inflicts, the healing that Christ offers in the Sacraments, and the freedom that the Church proposes in Her teachings on the virtue of chastity.
In recent years, Matthew has confronted our pornographic culture and has launched the website www.theporneffect.com. With patient understanding and yet with firm resolve, Matthew has pointed those who are addicted to or who have been wounded by pornography to the only source of true freedom and lasting healing: Jesus Christ and the Sacraments.

This little pocket guide book is a good starter for those who are new to the Rosary or have done it for many years and want to gain more understanding. Most have in your collection.
I brought this pocket guide a number of years ago. Have been using for the last week during holy rosary prayer time. Rich & insightful. It is loaded with understanding the mystery just a little prayer at a time
Great info - good to have back story and personal reflection suggestions for each mystery. Read it all once but will use as reference many more times I’m sure
Excellent direction on praying the rosary. Pictures well define what prayer to say as you move through the rosary. All four types of Mysteries are provided and explained. In addition, Prayers for the holy Rosary are provided. This is an easy to use guide. Very happy with this pocket guide
Enjoyed these meditations on the mysteries of the rosary, looking at the scriptural basis for each. I especially enjoyed how this guide prompts you to apply each mystery to your personal life, and loved the art work at the beginning of each mystery. I wish it included the fruit of each mystery, and the actual scripture verses for each mystery, before the reflection.
This is a good guide for beginning to pray the rosary. It has readings for all of the Mysteries of rosary and has an appendix of basic prayers in both English and Latin.
