Stefanie Arend undertook various types of training in different fields of yoga, until after years
of trying them out, she finally found what she had been seeking for such a long time in the
Yin Yoga teacher training run by Paul and Suzee Grilley. This approach to yoga gave her a
sense of deep inner peace and a feeling of having arrived. She still continues to train further,
and besides her own yoga and meditation practice, it is her personal experiences of teaching
and the everyday encounters in her life that have helped her to learn a lot more than what is usually being taught in teacher trainings. She had her own yoga studio for many years, where she gave thousands of yoga classes that enabled her to gather a wealth of teaching experience. She has been training those interested in Yin Yoga for many years, which gives her a feeling of deep fulfillment.

As a nutritional coach, she works in a holistic way and thus integrates a variety of approaches into her consultations, depending on precisely what the individual needs. She gave up her yoga studio in 2015 due to a move, and has since been focusing even more on international Yin Yoga teacher trainings.

This is one of the best books on yin yoga I have seen. What I love about this book - the beautiful visuals - great photography of the poses, and Stephanie provides some unique variations I have not seen in other books. She also includes some yang poses, and healing meditations you can use in your teachings. My favorite part is the sequencing at the back of the book which addresses various conditions - allergies, neck pain, foot pain, etc. Each of these sections has questions for reflection, TCM perspective, dietary considerations, etc. It really is a complete manual for yin yoga. I plan to include this in my yin teacher trainings going forward. I think you will really love this book!

I had heard the term Yin Yoga but never got a chance to explore it. And that's the reason I ordered this book. It's a brilliant and detailed book written on Yin Yoga.

Yin Yoga is a slow paced style of yoga as exercise, or the gentle way to free your body of everyday ailments and emotional stress. The book consists of lots of ideas, step by step instructions, picture illustrations to perform asanas which helps you to bring balance and harmony between your body and mind. The different forms of yin yoga mentioned in the book contributes to overcome your mental and physical issues and enlightenes your life with new energy and positivity.

I find the book so inspiring and motivating that i had even started practicing it. Right from asanas, accupressure, massage, detoxification to meditation, the book covers everything to keep you fit. Each yoga pose is demonstrated with step-by-step picture illustrations and the body part it targets. So, it becomes quite easy to understand and perform. The book is quite informative and detailed that it gives you the advantage of practicing it from home.

On the whole, the book is a well thought out and presented which serves as a remedy to the stress and hustle of everyday life.

Do read this book and incorporate yin yoga in your life style to lead a happy and content life.

Okay, I wasn't expecting this book to be this Impactful.
The book gets into your mind and makes you reflect on the health issues that's holding you back and how to ovecome these issues through Holistic Wellness.

Packed with transformative insights, presented with simple language,this book can be a simple guide especially for adults striving for a better healthier life.
The concepts discussed are self care and focusing of overall development of physical health mental health and inculcation of Yin Yoga and replete with high-quality pictures that make the poses and sequences easy to follow and understand.
Be Healthy with Yin Yoga is a wonderful support for anyone who wants to take their health back into their own hands.
Wide range of topics from nutrition to sleep to physical and mental health has been covered. The language and concepts are quite accessible and easy to implement, still the bulk of information is backed by scientific data.

I feel the author has delivered a masterpiece that will capture your mind, it's so impactfully written and each chapter has a gripping quality and it ended up making me feel postive and inspired. No matter where you are in life, you can work towards achieving your goals for a better future,and this is one such book that pushes us to take care our biggest asset and that's our health

There is no denying the fact that there are times when rather than resorting to heavy treatments and medicines, there are certain healing processes which we can rather adopt alternatively.

Hence, if we are looking for an elixir that will be of great benefit to not only helping us with our physical, but also mental health as well, yoga is something that has shown to have great effects.

Therefore, author Stefanie Arend, in her book, ‘Be Healthy With Yin Yoga’ has tried to show to readers how many complaints can be alleviated, that the body can be strengthened, and that a healing journey can be supported through yoga.

Alongwith this, we also see that this book does not focus only on generalizations, but there are also topics wherein focus is directed specifically at individual conditions.

Also, to help alleviate the readers of going elsewhere and finding about the various poses and asanas, there is a very detailed guide readily available in the book which will not only tell us the benefits of it, but also how we should practice the exercise, along with a photograph.

The book is useful in ways which we cannot even fathom, and hence, embracing what has been depicted is bound to leave a positive impact on the readers. So, I am going to give this FIVE STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The informative, realistic writing style, with clear concepts that translates into an engaging and mind enhancing read. I personally found the book to be a great read.As a beginner with zero knowledge about Yin Yoga I found this book to be highly informative, engaging and easy to understand.

The Yin Yoga movement is something that can be seen to have gained a lot of momentum, especially in the recent years, and the most of it can be attributed to how it assists in grounding us and calming our nervous system, thereby overall being a ticket to a happier life.

There can be seen times when science often lags behind when it comes to the subject of energy, and of course there is no certain way via which we can say with surety that it will always prove everything.

Hence, ‘Be Healthy With Yin Yoga’ by Stefanie Arend can touted to be a great book wherein we see how the author has not only helped the readers provide an insight on Yin Yoga in theory, but also has enumerated about this in practice.

As with any yoga, the aim of Yin Yoga is to bring the body, mind, and spirit into harmony. Based on the teaching of the Tao, each person is characterized by Yin and Yang—two opposing forces, the relationship of which should also be harmonious.

I liked how at regular intervals, there are illustrations and pictures which will make us understand exactly what is being portrayed, rather than vaguely imagining a concept. Hence, I am going to give this FIVE STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

- To unlock our full potential it is essential to keep our body and mind healthy. One of the best ways to achieve this is by practicing yoga on a daily basis. The author begins by explaining what Yin Yoga is. She then continues to describe why Yin Yoga is practiced and how it helps in self-healing. The author explains body anatomy followed by how Yin affects certain areas.

- After shedding light on the basics, the book then begins with the poses and how one should do them the right way. Each yoga pose comes with a detailed guide, its effects on the body, and images. Apart from this, the little facts boxes give clarity on certain terms and pose.

- The author guides the readers through each pose pointing out the dos and dont's. The book also describes meditation and ways of practicing it. There are certain exercises given for certain ailments such as respiratory problems, menopause, neck pain, etc.

- It is a well-written book on yoga. It is quite detailed and descriptive. It is informative and great for beginners.

Being Healthy is really important for us. In today's busy and hectic routine we fail to follow our regular healthy habits . Which is really bad thing. So Be Healthy With Yin Yoga is a book which helps us to build healthy routine by adding yin Yoga in our daily life.

So basically author has a lot of knowledge about Yoga which she has shared through her fabulous book . There are a lot of things that we can learn about. The book has everything about Yoga. Every detail is given by the Author.

I really enjoyed reading this masterpiece. I got motivated a lot and I got so much positive things about Yin Yoga. The best thing about the book is that author has shared lots of possible question answers that generally arises in our daily life. That was really helpful for me.

This is such an interesting and impactful guide on everything about yin yoga. The book is divided into parts and comes with explanations and details to make the readers understand everything completely.

The author has designed everything so nicely from the chapters to the parts to all the amazing reference images for the readers. It has everything one would need to understand the concept. The author has put everything in the book from theory to practice to the health-oriented lifestyle.

The book is written in easy language and the narration kept me hooked. Overall, it is a good read.

Be Healthy With Yin Yoga is basically the best book I have read this month. Yoga is really the best factor behind healthy life. If we follow some Yoga daily, we will be healthy forever.

So the book Be Healthy With Yin Yoga teaches us a lot of things about Yin Yoga. Author has explained everything in detail. The importance and techniques of Yoga.

The best thing about the book is that with the help of pictures, author has shown us different positions which is really helpful.

The book is definitely a must read for every reader. I loved the content and I learnt many things from this book.

I am in yoga teacher training and this book has been a great resource for me. Arend's book introduces the poses and their yin names which are different from the vinyasa names. She includes large color photos of the poses, easy to understand descriptions, and the effect the poses have on the body. She also has yin sequences for digestion, cellulite, the bladder, arthrosis, anxieties, headaches, neck pain, and many more! This is a book I will refer to again and again. Yin is my favorite style of yoga and this book made me love it even more!

This is a great yin yoga book. Not only does it have a more fleshed out section about the philosophy and background of yin as well as meridians than most books I have read about yin. It also has a section at the back with common ailments and what you can do to help which is an added bonus for a yin book. I love that all the poses have how to make them easier and more difficult, and the book is super clear and informative.

informative, illustrative and interesting

Really good read, recently got into yin yoga and this book has an array of poses and adaptions that are intuitive but I wouldn’t have thought of myself. The authors knowledge of yoga and alternative medicine is comprehensive and she shows how the physical practice can alleviate emotional problems.

I have quite a few yoga books and was a yoga instructor for several years. This particular yoga book is an excellent resource to have in your library if you are serious about yoga and your health.

I am not too familiar with yoga so I’ve never heard of yin yoga before. I have been thinking about taking up more stretching exercise because I sit a lot. I like how the author has yoga sequences for different health problems.

To be transparent, I'm helping to publicize this book — but that said — I would not have engaged unless I thought it was a substantial contribution to the wide world of yoga. I love that Stefanie Arend brings in Traditional Chinese Medicine practices, and an Eastern/metaphysical perspective to book. She is a master teacher, bestselling German author and knows yoga. That she landed with Yin Yoga after years of other types, impressed me because as I get older, my body needs less stress and gentle, deep tissue/fascia release after all the life I've lived! I love the sequences for different ailments and all the pictures. I could never understand a book or article that didn't have a how to pic with it. There's a lot of info for people who are looking to integrate their body, mind and spirit! And yea, I love the book as a reader, and am proud to represent it! Highly recommend!
