Liam Stone shattered my heart. Rejected me. Rejected my love. He walked away so easily, tossing the three words I told him aside as if they meant nothing. But they meant everything. At least to me.
Fine. I'm done.
He's pushed me away and turned his back on me one too many times. I've accepted it. Accepted that it's over, despite how I feel. But then why is he acting like it's anything but over?
Forever Yours is Book 4 of the Blackwood Series and the second book of the Forever Yours Duet.
Melissa Ellen is an indie author of contemporary romance. She writes about modern-day couples that give you all the feels. A lover of both the big city and small towns, her stories are set in both. A Reason To Stay, book one of the Blackwood Series, was her debut novel.
She grew up as a bookworm, reading anything and everything, and still tries to read at least a book a week. She's always had an active imagination. Luckily, she now has time to put it to good use writing about the characters constantly swarming around in her head.
She went from designing buildings to crafting stories while living in Texas with her husband, son, their rescue dog, and her five chickens. Her number one goal in life is to own some land with a mini moo (tiny cow) and a horse. When she's not writing, you'll find her tackling her latest architectural design project, reading a good book, gardening, or spending time with her family.
Melissa Ellen's writing style is characterized by its relatable characters, emotional resonance, and ability to blend humor and heart into her stories. If you enjoy contemporary romance novels with depth, humor, and heartwarming themes, then Melissa Ellen's books are definitely worth checking out.
As much as I loved Valerie in the previous book… That much I hated her at the beginning of this one. Reading the book, I thought that all of it was going to be like that. I’m so happy it turns out that after I finished it, I was loving it so much. After some events and clearing a misunderstanding, Liam decides he made a colossal mistake. He wants Valerie back in his life. He can’t breathe and live without her. So he plans his attack. Rhett had to do a lot with Liam changing his decision because he changed his mind about Liam and he was now supporting him. Valerie moved back temporary to New York with her acting career. She tries with all her strength to not think of Liam. Although Liam is calling her every single day she doesn’t answer him. I loved Valerie, her strength and determination to stay away from Liam, to not answer his calls. Once again she proved to me how strong she is as a woman and as a character. One day, when the filmings are done, she goes out with her colleagues. She knew well that Derailed was playing that night in New York, but she didn’t think that she would meet Liam at the same hotel where she was out with her friends. Even after Liam explained his reasons to keep her away from him and after he asked for forgiveness, she kept being stubborn, and kept him at a distance, although she desired and loved him so much. As much as she wanted to stay away she couldn’t. I liked Liam. He was much stronger, determined, decided, firm and much hotter. Even the book was hotter. The story was great. It had some action, hot stuff, great characters, and it was funny.
Now, I still have three wishes.
[image error] I want to know Mario’s story, a new story with the happy ending for Tessa, and the story of Lexie and Dax.
I can’t get enough! Thank you for this amazing opportunity!
So I must jump back on my soap box, as Forever Yours is the conclusion to Valerie & Liam's story, so YOU MUST READ A REASON TO LEAVE FIRST! Poor Valerie Blackwood, Liam rejected her, and left her shattered. He just walked away, and now I really want to hurt him badly. So my girl is done, she's not giving him another chance, as he's turned his back on her too many times. But will Liam ever get the memo that he really screwed the pooch on this one? I'm not going to wax poetic with this review, as I've written all four in one day, and it's only a matter of time before I accidentally give spoiler douchery away. Not to mention, by now, everyone should KNOW that I'm a new & HUGE fangirl of the brilliant Melissa Ellen. Each & every story in this series was fantastic, and the men who had me enraged definitely evolved into better men. And Valerie was such a strong heroine that I have a big girl crush on her, especially since she didn't instantly take Liam back when the realization of his douchey decisions came back to seriously haunt him. Hell, she made him really work for her time, which I respected big time. It had it all, the painful angst, a moving storyline, colorful cast of secondaries, twists that had me dropping f-bombs, humor that kept me laughing, and a look at what Rhett & Ava were up too! Anyway, enough out of me, just read Forever Yours, and the Blackwood Series for yourselves, as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!
Forever yours in a way had the same aspect to were my opinion of the heroine changed same as with what happened in book two for Ava , the hero grew a lot he became stronger and understood his mistake as soon as he said the words to the heroine . Over all good read I can't wait to read more by the author you can't read this as a standalone . copy provided for honest review **************************************** hero=9 heroine= 8 secondary characters=8 Chemistry=8 romance= 9 humor= 3 darkness level= 3 action=3 mystery= 3 enjoyment= 8 angst= 4 story line=9 Story ending=10 character development=10 pacing= 10 cover=10 stars=4 author= 9 would I recommend this book= would I re read this book= would I read future books by this author=yes
I just finished Forever Yours, and it is another Blackwood Series book that is hard to put down. Melissa Ellen gives you the same emotional and suspenseful twists and turns as she delves into Val and Liam’s relationship. Without giving away any spoilers, Liam’s past is still trying to come between Val’s and his relationship. There are definitely nail biter moments, and of course the steamy chemistry between the princess and the rock star is irresistible. I absolutely loved this series and was very sad when it had to come to an end, but it couldn’t have ended in a better way. I’m not a big reader, and if a book doesn’t grab me right off, then I tend to just put it down, but with this book I was bugging her to write faster; anxious to know what the next chapter was going to bring!
Liam & Valerie’s Steamy Story Comes To A Dramatic Conclusion As The Blackwood Series Comes To A Teary End! They Come From Different Worlds, But A Brief Chance Encounter Is All It Takes For Them To Know That They Belong Together. Liam Tries To Run From The Magnetic Pull, But Their Chemistry Is Undeniable. They Each Have Baggage That Weighs Them Down, Threatening To Destroy Their Fragile Happiness. Their Story Has A Little Angst As They Try To Rebuild After Everything Came Crashing Down. Valerie’s Acting Career Takes Off Just As Liam’s Band Rockets To Success. His Life On The Road Makes Reconciliation A Challenge, & The Past He Worried About Finally Catches Up To Him.
This is the fourth and final book of the Blackwood series. It is also the second book of the Forever Yours Duet, Liam and Valerie’s story. The series consists of four books – two duets. Siblings Rhett and Valerie are born into a life of privilege. These are their stories. While you can read each duet as a standalone, reading the series in order adds depth.
The Blackwood series includes: The Only One Duet: 1. A Reason To Stay (Rhett & Ava’s story, part 1) 2. The Only One (Rhett & Ava’s story, part 2) Forever Yours Duet: 3. A Reason To Leave (Liam & Valerie’s story, part 1) 4. Forever Yours (Liam & Valerie’s story, part 2) ABOUT THE BLACKWOOD FAMILY:
Charles and Vivian Blackwood may live a life of opulent luxury, but the Blackwood family’s wealth and connections are new money. An entrepreneur, Charles began working on his fortune after finishing college when he started Blackwood Industries. Today, he is a self-made billionaire. Vivien enjoys working on charity events and dabbles in decoration. Though they are based out of New York, private jets give the family the flexibility to travel at a moment’s notice.
The press follows the Blackwoods’ business pursuits, and the attention spills over into the tabloids occasionally as well. The guest lists for their parties include a who’s who of the rich and famous. Despite all the pressures of high-stakes business deals and the distractions of living in the spotlight, the Blackwoods have a tight family. Charles and Vivian are supportive parents and surprisingly approachable, not hardened by their wealth. FROM A REASON TO STAY, BOOK 1:
The story opens in the fall near Wellesley College, just outside of Boston.
Ava Conner, roughly twenty-one, is hard-working and stubbornly independent. She is beginning her senior year at Wellesley College where she is studying architecture. She fell in love with design as a little girl and is now working on her applications to graduate school. With her best friend since grade school at her side, Ava had left her hometown of Litchfield, Connecticut after graduating from high school three years ago, determined to make her own way in the world. She loves her family dearly, but she learned a hard lesson about depending upon others when she caught her high school boyfriend Chris cheating on her the summer before freshman year. Refusing any financial support from her family, she has worked her way through college ever since.
When Ava literally runs into a stranger one morning as she rushes to an exam, she finds herself dazed and confused. Just one look, one brief touch, is all it takes to shift her off her axis. After years of immunity to the charms of men, she suddenly finds herself drawn to the handsome and magnetic man. Every time he pops up again she runs, knowing her defenses won’t work against him. Her trust is still shattered, so she shies from making her heart vulnerable again. Eventually, however, she can no longer ignore him.
Rhett Blackwood, twenty-six, recently moved to Boston. After graduating with his master’s degree from Harvard just over three years ago, he went to work with his father at Blackwood Industries in New York City. It was some newer investments in Boston that led to his decision to relocate. Rhett’s name appears in business journals and tabloids alike, where he is pictured with a parade of blondes. One such blonde is Serena Archibald, the daughter of Charles Blackwood’s long-time best friend and business associate.
Ava has been cheated on in the past, so she is reluctant to give in to temptation. Serena acts possessive of Rhett, and he allows it, though without encouraging it. Rhett insists he and Serena are strictly friends, but there must be a story he isn’t sharing. Serena appears to be exactly his type. Ava, on the other hand, is a petite brunette, not a blonde supermodel type. She dresses modestly and comes from humble beginnings. She doesn’t understand Rhett’s supposed attraction to her, but denying their insane chemistry is impossible. The couple faces challenges as they struggle to make a relationship work. This story ends in a devastating cliffhanger. FROM THE ONLY ONE, BOOK 2:
This book opens in June. Just over two years have passed since Ava moved to the L.A. area (note my comments below about issues with the timeline).
Ava Conner, now roughly twenty-four, has built a life for herself in California. The last two years have been a time for healing and rebuilding. She got an internship at a tiny architectural firm upon her arrival in L.A. and worked her way through her master’s degree program. She recently finished her degree, and now she works full-time at Willis & Associates, where she had interned. Tom Willis, her boss, values her contributions. Her co-worker Jocelyn has become a good friend, and recent hire Drew is always entertaining. Ava’s small Santa Monica apartment offers a calming ocean view that settles her restless mind, and morning runs on the beach help to clear her head. She has grown to love living near the ocean; nevertheless, she wonders if she ought to move back to the East Coast someday. She misses her family.
It is like déjà vu when Ava runs into Rhett one day while hurrying to meet with a new client. Being in Rhett’s presence again is a shock to her system, and it soon becomes obvious that no amount of time will ever erase the magnetic pull that binds them together.
Rhett Blackwood, now roughly twenty-nine, has worked tirelessly since taking over his father’s company. And while his parents are celebrating their recent retirement with a trip abroad, responsibility for Valerie falls on his shoulders. Chaperoning her visit to the USC campus presents the perfect opportunity to finally make his reappearance in Ava’s life. He meant what he said when he told her he would wait for her, and with recent developments, he has finally decided to take matters into his own hands. The couple’s reunion is far from easy, though. With so many hurt feelings and misunderstandings, they are hardly on the same page. Time has strengthened the gulf between them, but their fated paths were always meant to merge. The couple faces several challenges as they work through the past and look to the future, but they finally earn a happy-for-now ending. FROM A REASON TO LEAVE, BOOK 3:
This story begins with a prologue from Liam’s point of view; it shifts into Valerie’s point of view in chapter one. The story opens in the summer after Valerie’s third year at USC. Rhett and Ava are now married and still in Malibu. The Blackwood parents are still spending their time traveling.
Valerie Blackwood, turning twenty-one, got a fresh start when she moved to California three years ago. Being a Blackwood wasn’t always easy, and it had burned when she learned that both her best friend and boyfriend from high school had used her for years to elevate their own social standing. She feared she would always doubt the motivations of those around her. So when Valerie settled in California for college in the fall, she was determined to live a normal life – or a life as normal as possible. She doesn’t flaunt her wealth and keeps her well-known family a secret.
Valerie has now attended USC for three years. She rarely touches her trust fund, instead choosing to work for her spending money. Sweet Beans has become like a second home. It is where she met Lexie, her best friend, who is just one year older. They have been roommates as well for two years now, and Lexie knows all of Valerie’s secrets. Besides school, work, and an occasional visit with family, Valerie has been going on auditions in pursuit of the acting career she hopes for. With her twenty-first birthday days away, she can finally head out to clubs with Lexie and her friends.
When a flat tire threatens to derail yet another audition, Valerie is not prepared for what she feels for the stranger that pulls over to offer a helping hand. She is drawn to the tattooed man whose rugged good looks and hypnotic voice have her mesmerized. She thinks he feels that connection too, but he seems determined to push her away.
Liam Edward Stone, twenty-six, has always found comfort in music. As the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for Derailed, he hopes to one day be able to make a career of it. His good friend Dax plays lead guitar, and they have Blaine and Trent on drums and bass, respectively. They have a standing gig at a local dive bar, The Republic, as well as other bookings. The crowds have picked up recently and their following is growing.
In the meantime, Liam continues to work for his uncle, Frankie. The widower works long hours in his auto shop, and Liam worries about him. Frankie is the only family that Liam has left, having lost his parents in a car accident when he was ten. Liam’s past weighs on him. He knows he isn’t a good man, so inviting anyone into his messy life would only end one way. He has gotten pretty good at pushing people away – an effort to protect himself from getting too attached.
When Liam sees Valerie Blackwood at his show one night and feels that deep, burning connection, he knows exactly what he needs to do. Somehow, she finds a way past his defenses. He doesn’t make it easy for Valerie, but they continue to grow closer in spite of several obstacles. It only takes a moment for their tentative happiness to crumble, however, changing everything. Their story ends with a cliffhanger. IN THIS BOOK:
As book three came to a close, it was roughly mid-February. Valerie had left for New York to work on her movie role about a month earlier. She had been heartbroken since the Blackwood Industries holiday party, at which time Liam’s warnings finally hit home. He refused to open up to her about Scott Lewis and his beautiful wife, Tessa. Liam refused to give any explanation for the two years he apparently spent in jail for domestic abuse. He walked away from Valerie that night without looking back. She had withdrawn after that, but she made a final effort to get through to Liam before boarding the plane to New York. It had ended with his cold rejection, and she promised him that she was finally done with him. A month later, Rhett showed up at Frankie’s shop to speak with Liam – and he brought Tessa with him. Liam’s baby sister had not died in the accident with their parents; she had survived. But Tessa had been naïve when fell for Scott Lewis. Scott was a successful businessman with a shady side, and he had a habit of beating Tessa. Liam had gotten involved when he discovered the abuse, and he ended up taking the fall when Tessa stood by Scott rather than coming to Liam’s defense. Scott had recently been pursuing a business deal with Rhett, which keyed Rhett onto his questionable background. Recognizing the error of his ways, Rhett tells Liam his plans for helping Tessa finally get away from Scott. He also shares some advice that Jackson had given him when he nearly lost Ava, telling Liam to go get his girl and not give up on her.
As the story opens, a month has passed. It is roughly mid-March.
Liam Edward Stone, about twenty-six, is skyrocketing to success. He is on tour with Derailed and their popularity is taking the music industry by storm. He hasn’t let that go to his head, though. Despite the screaming fans and willing women, there is still only one woman that he wants. He has been calling Valerie daily since Rhett’s visit, but she steadfastly refuses to answer his calls. He knows he messed up badly when he held back from her. Valerie had given him everything – all of her love – and he had only given her a part of himself. He always believed their relationship had an expiration date – that once his past was revealed she would run from him. He knew he didn’t deserve her, but Rhett’s visit, as well as his friends’ advice, had finally convinced him to be selfish. He still doesn’t want to expose Valerie to his past, but he will try his best to be the man that she deserves.
Valerie Blackwood, twenty-one, is trying to move on. As she finishes her first movie role, she has much to be proud of. Her time in New York was lonely, however, even though she managed to make some friends on the set. There has been some flirting that has served as a distraction, but nobody will ever compare to Liam. His daily calls infuriate her, but they are also a source of comfort. Her emotions are all over the place and she hardly knows herself anymore. So when Liam suddenly appears in New York, asking her to attend his concert and talk, she hardly knows how to answer. Her heart is still too broken to be trusted, so she pushes him away.
As Liam continues on tour with Derailed, Valerie is left behind to grapple with her feelings. The lyrics to Derailed’s new hit song haunt her, feeling like a message that she doesn’t quite understand. She isn’t ready to give a relationship with Liam another chance, but she nevertheless finds herself immersed in his world. She worries about Uncle Frankie, whose long hours at the shop cannot be good for his heart condition. With only an occasional audition to keep her busy, she decides to help out at the shop. But soon the past that Liam hinted at makes an appearance, and she begins to realize that his hesitation to involve her in his life wasn’t without good reason. The couple faces a number of challenges as they try to hash out their differences. The downside of fame is a threat to their happiness, and the past remains a lingering issue. In spite of it all, the couple eventually finds a very happy ending.
Valerie’s favorite security guard gets his own story. Watch for Mario Leoni’s story with mafia princess Lena Moretti in the spin-off novel Honor, which is book one of the Made series.
Wow! There are some big surprises in Liam and Valerie’s rocky relationship, but some beautiful moments as well. In the end, though, it takes both of them to participate if they are going to have a chance at forging a happy ending. As their careers take off, the pressures can only multiply, and finding time for one another becomes a challenge. Their happy ending is an uphill battle.
It is sad to see this series come to an end. The Blackwood family and their friends really began to feel like family. Both series took a while to get drawn into, but the stories both eventually had me invested. It was nice to see familiar characters from Rhett and Ava’s story continue to pop up in this book. Both Rhett’s and his sister Valerie’s stories had a strong family vibe, and both siblings had loyal friends as well. They had good support systems available to them. Their stories had just enough angst to keep you on your toes and not so much that it risked painting the characters in an irredeemable light.
In the end, I wanted to know more about the other couples in the Blackwood world. I would love to see stories about Stephen and Amber, Mike and Lizzie, Riley and Joce, and Dax and Lexie.
There are a few issues that merit mention. First, there are a few timeline issues. In the epilogue of book three, Valerie had been in New York for a month when Rhett came to the shop and advised Liam to fight to win Valerie back, apologizing for his interference. At that point, Liam was scheduled to leave on tour, and he would be in New York himself nearly a month later. That would place him in a position to see Valerie about two months after she left him at Frankie’s shop. This story opens as Liam arrives in New York, and Valerie has not answered his calls for a month, which is in line with Rhett’s visit to Liam. Liam obviously took his advice. It goes on to say that Liam let her leave Frankie’s three months ago, however, which does not add up according to the epilogue in book three. According to that, it was two months ago. Next, there are some rather thoughtless decisions that serve only to advance the plot. They feel inauthentic and uncharacteristically reckless. Finally, there is no update on Dax and Lexie in the epilogue, leaving you to wonder if it was an oversight, or if there might be a story for them down the line that would be given away.
Liam and Valerie’s steamy story comes to a dramatic conclusion as the Blackwood series comes to a teary end. His life on the road makes reconciliation a challenge, and the past he worried about finally catches up to him. The story is nicely written. There are a couple of laughs in this book, unlike the earlier books in the series. The plot is fairly simple. The characters are realistic. There is a nice collection of supporting characters that adds to the story. The story is written in first person in Valerie’s POV, with the prologue and epilogue in Liam’s POV. I rate this book four stars.
I received an advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I can't believe I'm done with this series. I feel like I've been a part of the lives of these 4 characters and now they're gone. I loved this last book. I started and finished in about 9 hours. I liked how the author created some suspense through this last one and played into Liam's "bad boy past". This is a series I will reread one day.
Oh my goodness. I loved Valerie and Liam in book one and I kinda wanted to shake Valerie at the beginning of this book! She is one stubborn girl. It's a good thing that Liam wasn't ready to give up! LOVE THIS SERIES!! It's a must-read!
This is the continuation of Valarie and Liam's story, so you need to read A Reason To Leave. I loved Valarie in this book more than. the last one. She is one strong, determined lady. I loved how she put her all into everything she did. To look at her, you wouldn't know she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. She's natural, loving, witty and loyal to a fault! Especially to those she loves. She's gone to New York to film an indie film and try as she might, she can't forget Liam!! Even if he has rejected her numerous times. But reading the story, I can understand why. Liam is miserable without Valarie and he realised what a collosal mistake he made by walking away, trying to protect her. I loved that Liam wanted to protect Valarie but he should've know she's not one to be messed with. She puts up a good fight and she's loyal to him. And she loves him with all her heart and more!! I'm glad she made him work for her forgiveness, although I think she would do anything for the man she lives. This book has a few really tense moments where I wanted to scream and shout at the characters. Valarie does need to listen though when someone tells her to stay put. She can be a little bit inconsiderate of other people feelings. Well for me, that was how I felt when she wouldn't listen for her safety as well as her family's. I'm happy Liam finally got what he's deserved, a loving family of his own!! And Frankie, you just gotta love him!! So, yeah. I highly recommend all these books in this series, but make sure to read them in order!
This is the fourth book in this awesome series, and is the conclusion of Valerie and Liam’s story. Valerie is once again left shattered and heartbroken when Liam rejects her, and just walks away. Now that Liam is back, and determined to make up for his mistakes and win his girl back. Valerie does not make it easy, and certainly makes him work hard to win her over. This series is packed with drama, angst, heartbreak, humour, and with twists, which all ensured that I was hooked and captivated throughout. I loved the crazy and shenanigans, as well as with Ava and Rhett in this story. This extremely talented author has certainly got herself a firm fan of her work with me. She is already on my favourites and 1-click lists, and I highly recommend her work for all readers, and I cannot wait to read more from her. Brilliant work Melissa!!
This is the final book in the series and the conclusion to book 3 "Forever Yours", which should be read first. After Liam rejected Valerie, she moved to New York to continue her acting. She had grown stronger and more determined. When he realized his mistake and wanted her back, she remained strong and did not give in to him. He also had matured and was a better person. Liam was determined to win her back. This series was great and a perfect ending to this great series. This series had it all, a full range of emotions from heartbreak to joy and everything in between. How beautiful to watch the Blackwood family evolve. This series was so much fun and enjoyable to read.. I read an advance copy and voluntarily chose to review this book.
This story was absolutely beautiful. It’s been such a pleasure to watch the Blackwood family grow and evolve as people and see the world through their unique eyes. This story has joy, heartbreak, drama, and enough humor to endear each character to you and keep you reading. Melissa is a fantastic author and has woven a spectacular world and cast of characters to keep the reader engaged and rooting for the happy ending. Special shoutout to Valerie’s ideas about what visiting Texas would be like, that part probably made me giggle the most.
The story line and character work were good. The book had a fairly smooth flow to it. While the character work was good, I think the characters got worse from the previous book in their story. I really think that the author should have just made it one book per couple instead of splitting the story into two books. It means that the readers don't get as good of a story, nor will the books flow as smoothly as they would if there was just one book.

Love, love, love the Blackwood Series! The last book is terrific and I wish there were more. I love the young love, the family love, and all of the complications that come with. The young couple is a bit more risqué which is quite fun. Love the way you write and the bits of added humor along the way. Very nice ending....HOA! The only kind. Thanks for the books, I enjoyed living them with you.
This series has all the feels, from heartbreak to laughter. Melissa Ellen has a way of making you connect with the characters and become so immersed in the story that time disappears. Started book one and didn’t stop until I finished the 4th and final book. Been a long time since an author has had me binge read a series. Best advice to other readers, for maximum enjoyment read the books in order, can’t wait to start Honor and catch up with Mario 😍
Forever Yours by Melissa Ellen. This is book 4 in the Blackwood and should be read in-order for the best reading experience. This book was really good; filled with drama, passion, twists and turns, emotional upheaval that will leave you wondering “what just happened”. I enjoyed the entire series and recommend it to others. A fitting end to the alluring series. I couldn't put the book down as my heart raced with the character's. It was engaging, suspenseful, at times comedic as we've grown to expect from the characters, and an all out memorable storyline that I hope to one day see portrayed on the big screen. I can't wait to see what is released next from Melissa Ellen!
This story is a definite romance where you easily fall in love with the hero and heroine. Even when sassy Val keeps ignoring common sense safety choices, you still root for her to somehow prevail. The story has a true HEA... And I hope there could be a spin off series about Mario and Luis and their journeys to their own HEA's.👍
I have been an avid reader all my life. I am now 75 years old and I have read a lot of books by a lot of authors! Ms.M. Ellen now ranks right up there among my favorites. She has a wonderful writing style that keeps you interested and wanting more. I read this series in two days! Keep them coming. 😀😄😉
Wow.... throughly loved the Blackwood series, loved Rhett and Ava’s story, also loved how he is so protective of his sister Val, and how Liam is so in love with Valarie... well done Melissa Ellen great work..
Would like to know if this series is really finished as we missed the wedding and birth of val’s twins!!???
Follows Reason to leave so you have to read that one first, before starting this one. I loved Liam, he was amazing hero. I loved the fact that the story was told in the first person point of view. 5 stars. Read this book now. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I loved the first book, but absolutely loved the second one even more. The emotion and suspense kept me turning the pages. I read the entire book this morning. I couldn't put it down. Loved the ending and it brought tears to my eyes that both Liam and Val received everything they ever wanted. Fantastic book.
This is the last book in this series and ties up the loose ends in a satisfying way. It is fun, entertaining with a suspenseful edge. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Wow I enjoyed this book. The characters are well developed and engaging with undeniable chemistry between the couple which made for a great storyline that kept me entertained throughout the pages.

Liam and Valerie perfect. Liam was the typical rock star but at the same time he had a different edge I can’t quit explain. I loved him and all his flaws. Valerie the strong fiery love of Liams’s life. The drama and suspense that surrounded them made for a great read.
