This series was absolutely terrible and I’m usually willing to give anything a chance. My kids are very into Minecraft and we listened to the audiobook of this collection. There were too many times to count that we noticed grammatical errors as well as awkward phrasing of events throughout the book. My kids asked me what the author meant and I had to throw up my hands and tell them I had no clue. We gave the book a shot based on the “great reviews” but after starting the audiobook, I was confused by the fact that the low quality of writing received so many 5 star reviews. I began to take a deeper look at the reviews and they were obviously fake reviews created by bots and I read through over 50 of the reviews. A few reviews were real but the vast majority were fake and nonsensical. My kids were extremely disappointed and we wound up getting a refund.

The book was not the best. There is an abundance of bad grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Some examples are:" Thrurteen", "Frist", "planes" (for plains) and "week" (for weak). This was distracting while reading the stories. Official Minecraft books are definitely better. There were exciting moments in the books and cute endings, though. The quotes at the end of the stories are also nice.
