His sister’s best friend is staying for the summer… things just got a lot hotter.
Harper Sorensen is lonely and unfulfilled at her job. She thought escaping to her friend’s house for the summer would be exactly what she needs. Her friend’s brother, a hot ex-marine, is just icing on the cake.
Riley Goodrich swore off women to serve his country. Now, Harper staying with his sister for the summer complicates things, but he’s definitely intrigued by this confident, sexy women…but she’s also his sister’s best friend.
Harper and Riley give new meaning to hot summer nights. But when the summer ends, will what they started be strong enough to last?
Heather Young-Nichols is a USA Today Bestselling author of contemporary and paranormal romances. She writes swoony heroes and snarly heroines with a heap of romance.
When she's not writing, she's binging a show with her kids, watching baseball, or snuggling with her cuddly animals.
Wow I absolutely loved this book and characters. They made me laugh out loud and Harper and Zoey were funny and best friends. So when zoeys brother fought his feeling for Harper it made it interesting and his best friend is living with rileys sister Zoey. Such a great story and absolutely loved it
The second book in the series brings Harper and Riley's story. It's a sweet and fun read with the two trying to fight their feelings for each other and finally getting together. I loved their banter and reading their story.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Riley sister Zoey is now dating my best friend and it seems a little uncomfortable but I know she could never be safer. Zoey tells Riley that her friend Harper is coming for the summer and will be staying with them. She told her brother that the had to pick up the couch because they needed a place for her to sleep. Harper gets to her friends house and the first thing she see is that Zoey had made her living room into a bedroom. Harper felt weird because Zoey and Wyatt’s relationship was just budding and she will be there with them. Zoey tells Harper that they all are going out to dinner that included her brother Riley. Wyatt asked about Zoey in college but Harper said she was the keeper of secrets. But as they are sitting there Harper tells Wyatt that Zoey tried being with the other side to check it out. First Zoey’s brother was looked at his sister. Wyatt couldn’t believe that she would do that. Zoey could not look up because she was going to start laughing. Finally Zoey starts to laugh and she tells the guys that Harper was fooling them. Riley and Harper hooked up and when Harper left to go home she found Wyatt and Zoey waiting up for her. Zoey was hounding her so she told her that she was with Riley. The four of them were going to the beach once they got there the girls scoped out a spot. Things progress during the summer Harper decides she is going to change her job and maybe move back. Riley had no idea what was going on with Harper. Harper had no idea what would happen with Riley. Can the two make a go of it?
I really enjoyed "Making Him Hers" by Heather Young-Nichols. Another quick novella. This one is a continuation of the first story but focuses on the best friends and how falling in love with each other's brothers could impact their friendship. The characters are fantastic and love the overall plot. The base storyline has multiple sub-genres that will appeal to many: friends to lovers, enemy to lovers, military, brother's best friend, etc. Perfect for a cold winter afternoon read. I received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review, but I would gladly pay full price for this read. Another win for this author and a great addition to your book collection. Happy Reading...enjoy!
A little harmless flirting never hurt anyone. Unless you cross the line and have a one-night stand with your sister's best friend. Neither of them wanting a relationship, Harper and Riley should have stayed just friends, but it’s probably a little late for that. I enjoyed this second book as much as I enjopyed the first one, and I loved to go back to Wyatt and Zoey. I enjoyed to see Riley become aware of his changing feelings for Harper and how he tried to act on it. Overall a good story that I recommend,

First we had Wyatt and Zoey, sister to his best friend. Now her best friend Harper is spending the summer and her brother Riley gets hooked. It felt like watching old friends after reading the first book, so adding Riley and Harper was a nice treat. The characters are well done, while being unsure of themselves, but wanting the relationship so strongly. The storyline has a lot of roadblocks and concerns, big decisions and deep feelings all coming together for a great short story. Loved their chemistry and determination once they made their decisions. Great ending.

Continuing the story that was started in ‘Making Her Mine’, this time it's big brother’s turn to find a happily ever after. Riley and Harper have lots of chemistry together, but will that chemistry be strong enough to get these two commitment-phobes to come out from behind their walls? I’d started to wonder in the previous book if they could be a thing, and I’m very glad to be proven right. It’s a quick read, but it’s got all the feels I was looking for. I received a complimentary copy of this book through Booksprout.
This is Riley Goodrich and Harper Sorensen’s story where we notice the growth in Riley and Harper’s relationship. Their romance started off slowly since both of them were denying their feelings despite it being so obvious. But once they acknowledge their relationship, it quickly progressed. When the summer ends, what will they decide to do?
This was a quick and easy read, but could have used a whole lot more editing. It’s pretty bad when you even find errors in the blurb.
I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This story in the Finding Love series is about Harper and Riley. These two are closely related to Zoey and Wyatt from the first story. Best friends, siblings. Harper is just supposed to be there for the summer but she and Riley make a connection. Once they decide to see how things go, she thinks of changing her plans. He wants her to change them also. I enjoyed this story more than the first. It was better written and that helped.

Riley is sure that he doesn't want a relationship, although he wouldn't mind a quick roll with Harper (his sister's best friend). It doesn't hurt that she will temporarily be staying with his sister & her boyfriend, giving him more opportunity to potentially have some fun with her. Although will his tune change when he gets some time with Harper? I enjoyed this couple, and the playful banter between them and others, both Harper and Riley were easy to like and I enjoyed their story.

This is part 2of the duet and follows Making Her Mine where you get Zoey and Wyatt’s story. Now you get Riley’s story. Zoey is Riley’s sister and Wyatt is his best friend. Zoey’s best friend from College, Harper, is spending the summer with Zoey and every time she visits her and Riley flirt. Zoey tells Harper she would be a hypocrite if she came between the two. Both Riley and Harper have steered clear of a relationship but the connection they feel changes everything.

Harper is staying with her best friend for the summer and is attracted to her brother Riley. Neither want a long term relationship or to ruin the friendship between the 2 girls. Can they hold their attraction back? Great continuing story from first novel but can be read independently. Always enjoy this author.

This is the second novella in the Finding Love series. I particularly enjoyed reading more of Zoey and Wyatt from the previous story, and then for Zoey’s brother and bestie to come to the realisation they were both ready to commit to a relationship, was very sweet and satisfying. A lovely quick read.

We get Riley and Harper's funny story this book had me in stitches Harper and Zoey are hilarious together they're perfect best friends. While we get to watch the progression of Riley and Harper as they try to fight their feelings for each other we get to see plenty of Wyatt and Zoey. You really need to read this entertaining story to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

This appears to be a re-release and I'm wondering if its changed from 3rd person pov to dual/first person pov. There are times when it switches within a conversation that make it hard to follow as it breaks the flow. It's similar in plot to the previous book in the series, if you are looking for a quick instalove HEA, you are in luck.

This is the second story in the "Finding Love" series. It is a fairly short and quick read about Harper and Riley. This is a fun and sweet story about undeniable chemistry, sister's best friend and hot summer nights. Such a fun and good read with great dialogue and witty banter. Harper and Riley try to fight their attraction, which is fun to watch. I love the characters and the plot is interesting.
This is Riley and Harper’s story, but we still get to see a lot of Zoey and Wyatt. This is a quick and easy read as we see Riley and Harper’s relationship grow. As with the first book in the series, it could have used a bit more editing (switching from 1st to 3rd person in the same sentence), but overall an enjoyable story.
I absolutely loved the chemistry between Harper and Riley. They clearly have a thing for each other but do not want to hurt Zoey. Harper and Zoey are the funny and crazy best friends. What will happen if Harper and Riley give into what their hearts are telling them?

Harper and Riley's book is the second one in the "Finding love" and the second book was just as good as the first. So, Zoey and Harper are best friends and Harper is in love with Zoey's brother. Once again I loved the dual first person point of view of the story. 5 stars.

Harper is visiting her best friend for summer when she meets Riley, her best friend's brother. Riley tries to keep his distance since she is his sister's best friend and only vising for the summer but that is hard to do. Harper and Riley have a strong connection but what will happen when simmer is over?

So happy Riley got his own book. Harper is perfect for Riley. Harper is also Riley's sisters, Zoey, best friend. This book is so great. Loving Heather Young-Nichols, I haven't read a book by her that I don't like.

Harper's life isn't going the way she wants it to so she decides to take a break and spend the summer at her best friend Zoey's. One problem she's attracted to Riley, Zoey's older brother. Little did she know Riley felt the same way about her. Making Him Hers is book two in the Finding Love series and a sweet, small town romance with likable characters.
4 1/2 stars An enjoyable story that was relatable and ended up being better than I thought it would be because there was more to the characters than was indicated by the blurb and the author made them very believable in their interactions.

I absolutely love how an author can tell a complete story, with details so that it doesn't feel rushed and get the whole story about the couple and Heather Young Nichols definitely does that in the Finding Love series! Definitely would recommend this book to read!
This is a a really fast read and a really good book series.. I would give 5 stars if there was more to the book like a book 3 to know how the 2 couple work out..
I really liked this one. Harper is mucid, and knows her own mind without being irritatingly over confident. I love how she can read Riley to figure out how best to win him over without it being creepy. She also tries her best to preserve her friendship too. This is a great series.
Making Him Hers (Finding Love #2 ) is now the brother dating the sister's best friend. This is so sweet and fun to read. The cute banter between Harper and Riley is as sweet as chocolate drizzle on ice cream sundae. Supporting characters are playful. A entertaining sweet read.
