A nice little story to pull the Hunter Series to a close
**This book is the concluding part of the Hunter Series. If you haven’t read it, make sure you do or this book will not make any sense.”
Well, if this book didn’t just put the icing on the cake for any fans of the four Hunter brothers. It’s a neat little follow on from the last book, His Secret but tells the ongoing story of all four of the Hunter boys and their significant others. It’s really an extended epilogue.
After discovering the truth about their parents and sisters murder, the brothers are trying to lay their demons to rest and put their differences aside. With the help of the ladies in their lives they are coming to terms with what happened and building their futures.
The brothers are surprised to find out that their Grandma Olive had been secretly maintaining a cabin just outside New York since the death of their parents. But why? When the eldest brother Jax receives the details, he decides to bring all the family there for a Christmas reconciliation.
It’s been a few months since the end of the last instalment and whilst all on the surface for each couple is good, there are problems in each relationship.
Jax and Syll are married but there’s tension and the periods of silence are uncomfortable. Working all the hours God sends to keep up his two businesses, Jax feels pressured to succeed; but at what cost? He loves his wife, but the more he works to make her proud, the more he pushes Syll away, much to her disappointment.
Cai and Addison have received devastating news. Whilst not threatening their love for each other, the news brings sadness and a lot of soul searching. Both trying to be strong for each other is all well and good, but unless one of them breaks through the pain and hurt to talk through what this means for their future, they won’t move forward.
Slade and Cheyenne are adapting to their new life in Boston with Chey’s younger brother and Estrada, their live in Nanny. Slade is determined to give Chey every opportunity to be the person she wants to be. She’s enrolled in Art school and works part time at a tattoo parlour as a designer. He’s doing his best to provide the life she always wanted but never had, but he’s worried that everything has moved so fast that she may feel overwhelmed. Desperate to forge a future with her and Austin, he has everything set to propose, but he’s uncertain of whether she will accept. But Chey has a secret of her own she’s keeping that might just change his reticence.
Blake and Brea... the last couple we got to know in the series are moving along just nicely. They’ve got a baby on the way and are getting married. Brea has helped break through Blake’s barriers and although he still prefers to live life out of the prying eyes of society, he’s gradually withdrawing from his reclusive lifestyle. But there’s some things that still stop him from feeling fully part of his family. Unlike his two older brothers, he really has no recollection of his parents. Too young to remember them, too painful to try to find out. Blake shut down whatever memories he did have. Knowing more about them is what might unlock his own doubts and fears.
The time at the cabin encourages the brothers to talk more openly about the memories they have of their parents which helps Slade and Blake understand more about them.
As the memories start coming back, the chapters from Christmas 1984 told by Chester and Abigail the Hunters parents) reveal how quickly and fully they fell in love but the revelation about their meeting and marriage takes them all by surprise.
When Blake and Brea find a note in a fire box in the attic, left for the brothers by their Grandma Olive it makes everything fall into place. Her words make them realise why their Grandfather had made the stipulation in his will for them to reconcile. Not talking about their parents deaths for all these years didn’t save them from their grief or their loss, it just increased it and pushed them apart. By
The note urges them to talk and communicate, not only within the brotherhood but to their own partners Without that openness they could lose sight of what is truly important.
With Grandma Olives words ringing in their ears, the brothers take their respective women and set about mending their own futures with some heartwarming realisations.
It’s a great end to a really good series. For those wanting the whole BDSM vibe like the series had... well you may be a little disappointed because while there are some rather racy encounters, this book is more about tying up lose ends as opposed to tying each other to the bed!
As I’ve said previously, treat this instalment as an extended epilogue of sorts that puts a neat little bow on the Hunter package.
More of an epilogue / recap -- Highly recommend for anyone who has read this series!
For adults only due to subject matter, which includes adult language, mature intimate scenes (references to D/s relationship, some BDSM light (discipline, restraint, etc.). If any of these types of situations are offensive to you, or a trigger, then this is not the series or stories for you.
I enjoyed this very short read, which is more of an epilogue, or recap with a quick problem or concern for each of the couples. I should have read the description more thoroughly, as I have not read any of these stories to date that I can recall. This made it somewhat strange, but believe it or not, I could still follow the gist of an obstacle or two that each couple had to overcome on the way to their HEA.
If you have read any of the Hunter Brothers series, then you will love this holiday update!
I volunteered to leave a honest review of an ARC from the author and Booksprout. I really enjoyed that I was able to read through KU instead.
The stories brought us more in the now about the Hunter Brothers relationships, both with their spouses and or partners but mostly in my mind was the story of how their parents met. Although each brother was facing their own issues during the holiday at the cabin, getting their own insights as to who their parents were as people was integral to the whole family dynamic.
This I think is key to the entire Hunter Brothers series because they lost their parents at young ages and their grandparents really never shared much about their parents with them. Had they have had more knowledge in regards to their parents, how they met, their lives prior to the accident that took them away from the boys, I think we would have seen 4 very different men.
I very much enjoyed the family history coming to the forefront during the holiday trip the brothers took.
A Hunter Brothers Christmas by M. S. Parker This story is about a family where they are many brothers. Some have married, other single and some are in the process of other life events. They find a cabin of their grandmother's after she has passed on and the family decide they can all spend the holiday together. There are many things going on as they recall memories of how one met and even the grandparents. Book goes back in time to when the events took place so you have to pay attention to the dates at the start of the chapters. Lots of drama but enjoying it. One woman does not want the child she is carrying, another have announced they are pregnant and there's another woman who wants a child and can't conceive. Love hearing about all their careers and how they are done. Love gift each of the grandparents left the kids, like how they found out about it all. Sexual scenes Can't wait to read more from this author, like this series, first book in the series I've read.
The couple(s): This story had 10 narrators! I would have thought this would be confusing, but it really wasn't. The 10 narrators are: CT and Abby (the parents) and their kids: Jax and his wife Syll, Blake and his wife Brea, Cai and his girlfriend Addison, and Slade and his girlfriend Cheyenne.
Romance genre: holiday story; reunion
Plot: The four Hunter brothers and their partners meet for Christmas at a family cabin. The story went back and forth from present day to back when the parents first met. Each couple is having some sort of a problem, and then there is a mystery about how the parents met (which not all the guys knew because they were pretty young when their parents died).
Character development: Jax and his wife have been married just a few months, but already feel distant from each other; Addison and Cai have just found out that they cannot have children; Slade wants to propose to Cheyenne, but isn't sure if she will say yes; and Blake and Brea are still learning to balance being a couple and dealing with pregnancy.
Would I read more from this author/in this series: Yes. I have also read other series from her, and have enjoyed them.
I received this book as a free Amazon download, and read it as part of a holiday book reading spree. This was a book about characters from other books, and I have not read those other books. However, it wasn't difficult to understand this story as there was enough context presented.
I don't normally like multi-POV stories (beyond a him-and-her), but this one was okay because it had the overarching story of the parents to hold it together.
This was a good holiday story, and I might go back and read the originals now.
This was a nostalgic book and was sad in many parts then Ms. Parker brought in her own brand of Christmas wishes come true and there was a really lovely happy ending. It was a great insight into the Hunter brothers parents and in some respects into their grandparents as well. Not everyone is as they had seemed throughout the individual Hunter brother books and each of the characters had their own insecurities. There was a sense of peace at the end of the book, but I feel there maybe another story flowing from Jax's encounter with Justina and his conversation with Calvin at Pothos.
A great recap of the brothers parents love and how their relationship began as the kids don't know a lot of what happened as they were young and their grandparents didn't share much. Also a great addition to all of the boys love stories and struggles with their own relationships. Revelations come once they begin to piece together into about their parents and realise that one a Hunter finds the one they fall hard and fast.

his is basically a continuation of the story in Hunter Brothers Complete Collection Box Set. They learn more about their parents in a cabin their parents purchased that they were informed about recently. Slowly memories and information are revealed. It brings to light how they want to live with open communication between themselves and their girlfriends, soon to be wives. There are steamy scenes in this book. It is still an intense story. It all ends happily with promises of a happy future. I loved this book.
Many authors treat their readers to a Christmas special, where the storyline provides updates on all the main couples. These installments are usually so sweet, your back teeth begin to hurt. They are usually for pure entertainment with no significant plot. This author takes a different approach as in this book the reader find depth and may even shed a few tears. As I continue to binge read this series, in this book the back love story between the Hunter brothers’ parents is brought to life creating a beautiful Christmas special.

I received this way too short Christmas novella as an ARC via Booksprout. I loved it! It’s the perfect ending or really beginning for the Hunter brothers. They come together for Christmas at their Grandmother’s beautiful cabin that no one knew about until her death. It’s filled with love, lust, new beginnings and a surprise discovery about their deceased parents. I’m so glad to be able to give this voluntary review.
I loved each story about each Hunter Brother. So, I was excited when this story was reuniting all of them and during Christmas!!
There was a cabin that no one knew about, so it's decided there will be a family get together at Christmas with all the Hunters and their significant others. In this story there's charm, blind date, hotness and we get a look into how their parents met!
Great story!! I felt as though I was sitting down visiting with old friends!!
The Hunter Brothers haven't always been close. Yet their grandparents wanted that to happen for them, know the bond, closeness of a family. Beautiful story, of an estranged family coming together, learning about each other, getting support from their siblings, and significant others. Learning the importance of communication with each other, and ther significant others. ❤️loving this beautiful story.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Such a great read, loved having all the brothers together. Can the Hunter brothers put aside their differences and come together for the holidays? Or will they let the past get the best of them? I highly recommend this book along with the series, it's a must read!
I loved they way this pulled the brothers and there women together and give them some insight into their past, which then impacts the present. Good to be reminded of all the characters and their connections - sexy and hot as always!

It was great reading about the Hunter brothers again and reading the story of the parents and how they met , I am sure there will be another story on why they were killed , the mystery of why and if the brothers look for some kind of retribution against the pharmaceutical company ? I look forward for more ......
This book was just want I needed to wrap up the holidays with the brothers and their wives! I absolutely loved reading about each and every brother, individually, but having them all together in a holiday book was fantastic! So much goodness in one book! Love love loved it! You just have to read this one! It will make you swoon.
Oh! I loved the way this Christmas story was written. Every person’s perspective...generations included! As much as this was a short story, I feel like there is more Hunter Brothers in our future!!! I love these boys!

I loved hearing more about the Hunter brothers and their partners, after their individual stories of romance. They have all gathered together around Christmas, in a cabin they didn't know about. What secrets will come out? I loved seeing how the couples were going, and as an added bonus I loved the glimpse into the Hunter Brothers' parents story.
Just when you thought you were done getting Hunter Brothers books, MS Parker surprises us with this fantastic Christmas read. Where we get more answers and more Hunter Brothers. The writing is fantastic and told in everyone's POV. You'll get sucked into this quick read. This is not a standalone and is meant to be read after all the other books in the Hunter Brothers series.
Even though the Hunter Brothers have had their differences through the years, M.S. Parker has brought them all together for the Christmas Holidays. Can they keep their differences from spoiling this reunion? Aren't holiday gatherings a time for sharing and catching up … filling in all the blanks? Wait! Who did what? When? Why didn't I know about this? You'll love this family holiday treat.
At first this story is a little confusing if you don't keep track of all the names who they are, and who they are with, but after you do it is amazing love story that brings family back together and expands it.
