All books in the Texas Heat series can be read as standalones!
Alpha, Axel Barron is one of Austin’s most successful restaurateurs and he’s got it all; sports cars, a penthouse, Michelin stars and a never ending line of omegas just begging to be his next sugar baby. But Axel isn’t looking for someone who just wants him for his money—he wants something real, and when he saves a sweet omega from the wrath of his horrible land lord, he may have found the connection he’s been yearning for for so long.
Robin Greene is stuck—working a dead end job as a cook at the Malebox, a dive-bar/restaurant with an awful boss, Tiffany, who won’t let him grow into the chef he knows he’s meant to be. He’s three months behind on his rent, and when Tiffany fires him for trying to spice the place up, he realizes just how much trouble he’s in.
After another terrible date, Axel is knocked off his ass when he catches the scent of his fated-mate. He tracks him back home but is horrified when he sees the heart-melting omega being accosted by his sleaze bag of a landlord. Axel leaps into action and saves the poor boy from what would have been a terrible beating.
Taking him back to his downtown penthouse, Axel cares for Robin and the two instantly recognize the undeniable attraction between them—it’s destiny. Axel is determined to breed the beautiful omega and bind him to him forever. As the owner of three incredible restaurants, Axel can hand Robin the dream future he’s always wanted as a chef, but there’s a hitch. Robin’s landlord has connections, and he’s sent his goons after Robin, and this time they’re not just after his money—they’re out for blood.
Their future is in jeopardy, but Axel will stop at nothing to protect what’s his, but will he be able to save his fated-mate and will Robin be able to step up and show the world just how great and talented he truly is?
Alphas Flame is book 5 in the Texas Heat series, with no cheating, no cliffhangers and so much spicy, knotty MPREG heat that you know you get from Aspen Grey, that you won’t need anything else for the rest of the week! Close the blinds, lock the door and treat yourself ;)
Bear shifter Axel leaves the Malebox scents his mate then follows the car just leaving the car park. The Malebox was not Bear shifter Axel idea of a place for a date but that was where it had been arrange and when his date starts mentioning his debts he know he is seek a sugar daddy so he ends the date and leaves. As he steps out into the car park an enticing scent hits his nose and he knows he has found his forever mate. Looking around he spots a beaten up car leaving the lot so he follows it. Chef Robin had just been fired and was wondering how to pay the rent and as he enters the apartment block he is aggressively approached by his landlord then a bear knocks him away and robin scents his mate. A shifter romance to relax and enjoy. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This book wasn't as good as the ones in the beginning and I feel like that might have something to do with the fact that this book didn't feel like it was part of the same series. It read almost like a spin off with characters we were never introduced to in previous books. I also felt like the conflict wasn't too serious or maybe it was because it was resolved too easily. Also I find it difficult to believe he didn't know he was having more than one baby.

I received this book by the author and this is my honest opinion. I loved it is my straight forward answer😀 it's another good book in the Texas heat series and I loved Axel and robin. It was a good story with plenty of substance to get your teeth stuck into and kept my attention throughout. I also liked that previous characters were still on the sidelines which really connects each of the books though it doesn't impact the story which can be read as a standalone. Great read
A sweet story about Axel who owns restaurants and is an alpha and Robin who is a chef and an omega. These two meet on chance due to a bad date Axel was on. When he goes to help Robin, they realize they are fated mates. Will things go easy for them after realizing this? You'll have to read the book to find out.
It’s official, I want an Axel for myself. He’s gorgeous, successful, and rich. That all means absolutely nothing when he finds and saves his fated mate. This heartwarming tale will suck you in, wrap you with “feelsies” (my word) and have you craving more. It is part of an ongoing series but can be read as a standalone.
I read and voluntarily reviewed an arc of this story.
A great addition to this wonderful series. It's a sweet and sexy story that focuses on fated mates Axel and Robin. I really like how Axel swoops in on Robin right when he needs him. You get some danger that they face but lots of love and heat for this wonderful couple. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
Axel and robin are the sweetest Alpha/Omega pairing i've read in a long time. i love Aspen Grey and the Texas Heat series, i think this was my fave. Alpha Axel saves Omega Robin from his landlord and they fall in love and of course there is an Hea! would def recommend.
arc review For honest review. This is a very cute story of robin who is a chief and a omaga . Axle is a alpha and owner of springleaf misquote and Barbara find dinning .When he smells that his mate is in trouble he goes to find him.
This was a wonderful paranormal story! Axel and Robin were likable characters that sizzle and brought the heat level I enjoy. A little danger with a lot of loving made their journey a must read today.
Alpha's Flame by Aspen Grey is the fifth book in the Texas Heat series. It is a hot and spicy, sweet and fun story.. Axel and Robin are great characters and I loved their interactions. Definitely a satisfying and recommended read.
This was such a sweet story. Not much fighting which was nice. Just a coincidence meeting of fated mates. One is on a terrible date and the other is walking out from being fired. A beautiful story to read.
Another great book I loved this book just like the others, this one is a little different from the rest because they don’t live on the farm but had some of the other bears from the other books
Grabbed this as a freebie as I do enjoy a good shifter mpreg. Unfortunately, this wasn’t that. The story is fairly bland, the alpha/omega relationship is way over the top, IMO, and the tale left me disappointed.
This might be my favorite of the series. Robin was down on his luck, and Axel swooped in at just the right time to claim his fated mate. Sweet and sexy storyline.
Wow what another amazing book. I love how you give each person the best way of finding their fated mates and never have them give up on what the future can and will hold. In this one we meet Axel and Robin to very matched people who show us that love can withstand anything you throw at them. I can't wait to see what you bring us next. I give it 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader's Copy.
