Quame Heart is young, handsome, and wealthy with no obligations to anything or anyone besides himself. Unlike the rest of his family, he doesn’t feel the need for love and is content with the single life. However, his young minded ways are unexpectedly swayed by the intriguing Mo’Nae.
Mo’Nae Sumpter isn’t looking for love because she thinks she already has it in her longtime boyfriend, Vario. She quickly learns otherwise when an undeniable proposition from the boisterous Quame leads to more than they both imagined.
The only problem is neither of them are what the other assumed, and both harbor secrets. When their hidden lives and agendas surface, will they be able to bounce back from it or will the lies be too much to forgive?
Was an ok read. I started to it like the book when I noticed Mo was becoming a bully. I get you wanted the character to be tough but that was more so along the like bullying knowing she wasn’t going to fight back. Also he didn’t have to kill her because she wouldn’t drop the charges. You can’t expect to do things to people without the repercussions. Was very dramatized.
Ok the book was decent but it didn’t have a lot of grammatical errors that could be cleaned up with a good editor.
Now I will say that Quame and Mo were an annoying pair at times. The back and forth was a lot but I also understood why Quame was hesitant about going all in with her. I mean from day one the girl did consider robbing him and then eventually making him her trick. She eventually acknowledged her feelings for him but called herself still being loyal to a man who had clearly checked out of their relationship a long time ago. I mean be for real it’s no way a man that loves you would have you setting men up and putting you I. The line of fire to get hurt and the whole having yall pack up and move but yall living separately. I’m confused where did she think the third woman was staying?
Qua was annoying and at times reminded that he was only twenty one. And speaking of age it was very annoying that they kept referring to each other’s age. Her constantly referring him to that “young boy” and him calling her a “cougar”. They made it seem like this woman was 20 years older than him when whole time she’s only 25 years old, Qua was only 21 years old so that makes Mo only 3-4 years older than him. *shaking my head* And there’s a pattern in this series and I don’t understand why every book has a love triangle of some sort and that’s annoying because you barely get to see the man couple really bond. Like I said decent read but needs an editor.
This was a crazy ride we went on the Quame and Mo'Nae... They kept going back and forth trying to fight their feelings... Then feeling things they were not use to... I just didnt like the way that this book came to an abrupt ending... Other than that... I did enjoy this storyline... I wish Mo wasn't so weak for Qua and really give him a run for his money and prove a point to him... He would talk to her any ol way and she would be okay with it... She was like putty in his hand... I was like how is he all in his feelings about her going out.. When he has a whole woman in the house with them that he is claiming as his girlfriend... See she should have continued to move on with the next man and Shut Qua down all the way... Especially because Cash was really feeling her... I would like to see where that would have gone... But like I said... these two were both on the crazy jealous side... So this was a bad combination causing lots of drama... but a nice read to keep me reading... Now onto the next chapter of this family Saga...
You can not help but to enjoy Qua and Mo'nae's story they make it so fun.I love the fact that in this story the heroine is older and the alpha it the grasshopper learning. The chemistry in this story is so good that it just flows effortlessly. The writer at no time lose any of the momentum and puts you right in the action. This was and is a good story and wonderful addition to the series.I look forward to seeing this wedding between the two and not to mention a pregnancy.
This one was probably my favorite in the series. After suffering through the weak-spined FMCs in the previous books (Gigi, Teagan, and co), it was good to see this author actually write an FMC that talked back, taught back, and walked away when needed. Mo was almost too mean to Qua at first, but he needed the humbling.
The author still needs an editor. There were many typos and wrong word choices (e.g., “making her coward under my stare”) that were distracting and took away from the quality of the work.
Qua and Monae was a perfect couple there imperfections did cause problems but in the end they didn't let no one destroy the love they shared for each other. I want to see what there future will look like. I'm glad Liberty and Legacy, Achilles and Gi'Dore, Adonis and Teagan are happily ever after.#1225
This story was something else. Everyone had me cracking up especially the relationship between Qua and Mo they stayed beefing but it was all out of the connecting they got for each other. I was happy that they finally got together hes the youngest out of the crew loll
It’s crazy how Quame needed Mo to teach him how to really satisfy a woman and then he totally flipped the script on her and she was feenin’ for him. I loved the back and forth between them. I loved the updates on all the other couples too!
Once again this author has taken us on a roller coaster ride. It’s the family you would love to hate because they just so darn cocky but you just can’t help but smile cause they stay winning. Would read this series over again that’s just how good it is. Well done.
I enjoyed this book I can never get enough of them Twins they are too much Author Antoinette Sherrell keep writing about My four baes the twins Legacy and Philan I can read about them all day. I recommend this book to all avid readers.
I really enjoyed this book and Qua and Mo’s love story they are crazy couple that is meant for each other and book was filled with laughs on each page. I would like to know if they do ever get together though. It’s a great read regardless.
Ok Antoinette, this was one of the best! Mo'Nae is my main girl now. Although Ginger, Doe, and Liberty is the top girls, I must say that Mo is one of the realest. Another great read❤💯
Qua got his hands full with Mo bc tht girl is off the chain and ain't no joke bc she' stay ready to kick butts and take names over Qua. At least Teagan finally decided to forgive Andonis and got married.
The Family Saga is 🔥, easily one of the best series I’ve tapped into! From Dope Boys and Hittas, to Sadity Girls and Bad B*tches, this series has everything.
It explores layers of family, love, friendship, and loyalty throughout three generations …. with some of them rocking together from the sandbox all the way to parenthood.
Filled with good messy toxicity, unhinged men and banter that cracks you up…it’s pure entertainment! This is a full circle series that didn’t miss a single detail and wrapped up perfectly.
💜Book Bae: Legacy 🥂Favorite Couple: Quan & Gin ☢️Most Toxic Couple: Gigi & Achilles 🔪Most Unhinged MMC/FMC: Legacy & Mo’Nae 📚Favorite In Series: She Fell In Love With A Hitta (Book 6)
I love me some Qua and his growth. Mo don't take shit from nobody. I really enjoyed the family bond that everyone had.I hope to read more about the couples.
Quame and Mo made me laugh. They are to much a like. I was glad Teagan and Adonis finally tied the knot. Maybe one more in this Series featuring Munroe?
I can't stop reading your work. New too your work but loving every bit of it! Qua and Mo both crazy ass heck but I love their life. I want a love like that!
This book was so good. Quame and Mo had me laughing so hard my dog was looking at me funny. I’m really hoping this is not the end, and it’ll be at least one more book.
