The Man Who Sold Christmas
When God told young Brother Angelo to take the spirit of Christmas to the people, He didn't tell him how to to about it. Even the miracle He sent wasn't much help. Or was it? Brother Angelo was very happy among his pots and pans, peeling potatoes and scrubbing floors in the kitchens of St. Raphael's monastery. He was happier yet when God spoke to him and told him that He had work for him to do - to bring to people's hearts the realization of Christmas. But what was not wholly clear was just exactly how God expected him to do this. Yet Brother Angelo set cheerfully upon his task in the best ways that he knew. The results were not, perhaps, spectacular, until a miracle occurred.
