A Very Braden Christmas by Melissa Foster was the eleventh Braden book and the twenty fourth in the Love In Bloom series. It was a novella capturing Christmas Eve while catching us up on the original Bradens from Weston Colorado. It was the most delightful Christmas story I’ve read so far this year.

It was told from the perspective of each Braden beginning with the Patriarch Hal. The storyline included every couple (Treat/Max, Rex/Jade, Josh/Riley, Dane/Lacy, Hugh/Briana and Savannah/Jack) and their numerous children, demonstrating the tight bonds between both the adults and all the cousins. It focused around a Braden Christmas tradition while filling us in on the present and future plans for each family.

A VERY BRADEN CHRISTMAS (The Braden #11) by Melissa Foster is a holiday novella that brings all of the Weston Bradens together for their traditional Christmas Eve celebration. I loved each of the individual Braden romance stories and I love catching up on their lives and children.

Patriarch Hal Braden has carried on the tradition his late wife began of having all the family home for Christmas Eve. They celebrate with holiday activities in town and then have a giant sleepover with everyone in the main living area of Hal’s home. All of the couples are in attendance with their children which demonstrates the bond between all the members of this family. Fun, chaos and love ensues with each couple trying to sneak away for a little “alone time”.

While each couple has a special announcement to make, it is the special movie that Treat has for the family to watch which makes this Christmas Eve unforgettable.

This is a very quick read that packs an emotional punch. I was happy to catch up with the Weston Bradens and was very happy through the tears with the ending. (Keep the tissues close for this ending!) This is a wonderful addition to the series and it is best read after the individual stories because all of the couples can be confusing if you are just picking this up as a holiday read. Like all of Ms. Foster’s LOVE IN BLOOM series books this one is full of family, fun and love.

A quick page turner story, short but filled with so much love and emotions you are guaranteed to get deeply touched and run for the tissues! I laugh, smiled and cried along the books and I simply adored it! It’s nice to get an update on each of the Braden’s and their lovely little families! I was so excited when I heard Melissa was writing this book. The Weston Bradens are my favorite and I am always wanting more from them. Everyone comes home to spend the holiday's together. It is great catching up with everyone and to see how their families are growing. There is a really touching moment between Layla and Hugh that warms your heart and the traditions the family shares puts a smile on your face. There was a surprise with two members of the Braden clan. It was not a good or bad surprise just a wow that was unexpected (at least to me it was). I like where Melissa is going with these two characters.

The end of the book had me crying. The way Melissa wrote it was just perfect. That was the perfect way to tell the story. This is the perfect story to warm your heart this holiday season.

Comments: I enjoyed this family drama with each siblings love story. This Christmas tradition of the Bradens was touching and heartwarming. It should be everybodies Christmas tradition.
Changes in the family: In the main stories about each sibling and their significant other: Treat & Max made a home in Weston and Rex & Jade built a home on the property both Johnson's and Braden's owned. In this Christmas story we learn that Dane & Lacy are moving back close to Weston to start a business that Jack Remmington and Hugh Braden want in on, Hugh & Brianna live in Weston now too, as well as Josh & Riley live partime in Weston and partime in NYC. Savannah & Jack are moving to Weston but are keeping their New York apartment. Dane and Lacy are looking to adopt a baby in the new year. Hal got his Christmas wish that all his children would move home. He has eleven grandchildren and one on the way.

What can be better than a book about the Braden’s? What can be better than a book about Christmas? A Braden Christmas by Melissa Foster.

We’re reunited with all those hunky alpha Weston Bradens, their significant others, children and extended family.

The Weston Bradens are where the story began and where it continues. What can be better than that.

All Melissa Foster fans will enjoy this book tremendously.

Oh my, what a fabulous short story encompassing all the Weston Bradens, gathered together on Christmas Eve. I read it through three times!!
There is lots of humour, rambunctious children, plus the love of family that runs through all the Braden books. The ending is so poignant, and made me shed a few tears (each time I read it), but it is a fantastic feel good read. Snuggle up with your beverage of choice, and a few tissues, and enjoy the festivities!

A touching novella that warms your heart. From sleigh rides to mischievous cookie eating children and family updates. This is a story you will want to curl up next to the fire with a cup of cocoa and read this season.

A Very Braden Christmas (Love in Bloom Book #30) by Melissa Foster.
The Love in Bloom series proved to be a heartwarming journey through love, family, and personal growth. Spanning multiple interconnected series/stories, it offers a wonderful blend of romance, humor, and emotional depth that kept me reading the whole way through.
Ms. Foster crafted fully developed, relatable, and multidimensional characters who added an extra element of emotion and interest to my overall reading experience. The heroes are fiercely loyal and endearing, while the heroines are smart, empowered, and refreshingly ‘real’. Each character feels like someone you could know in real life, making their struggles and triumphs, high and lows, all the more impactful.
The stories have a perfect balance of steamy romance mixed with heartfelt moments. But that doesn’t mean that Ms. Foster shies away from exploring deeper themes like forgiveness, self-discovery, and the complexities of relationships – adding dynamic layers to the storyline/s. But, despite the emotional depth, the series still maintains more of a lighthearted charm, sprinkled with humor and tender family connections.
While each novel can be read as a standalone, there is an interconnectedness with the recurring characters and overlapping storylines - which help create a sense of community that feels warm and inviting. It’s like being welcomed into a big, loving family where everyone has a worthwhile story to tell.
‘Within the Love in Bloom big-family romance collection you'll find fiercely loyal heroes and smart, empowered women on their search for true love. They're flawed, funny, and easy to relate to. Characters from each series appear in future Love in Bloom books…’
If you are a fan of contemporary romance or simply looking for a feel-good series to escape into, this series is a worthwhile binge read…

A Very Braden Christmas

Typically, I can’t say enough about most Melissa Foster books, but I just can’t do it this time around. A Very Braden Christmas is a short novella that was intended to be a way to allow the most devoted Foster readers a warm and fuzzy way to check in on the family that we love. Set at Christmas in the Rockies at the home of the patriarch, Hal Braden, the whole family gathers to celebrate the family traditions.

What could have been a nice story filled with memories, times of reminiscing and even the beginnings of new tradition instead felt like this frantic page-after-page of who’s who and how they are all related, just so the reader can be reminded of the names of every character from every story that has ever been written so far. Sprinkled in between this madness of the crazy family (Christmas) tree, were the sudden and unrealistic declarations that everyone was moving home and everyone was pregnant again. There really was no plot; no beginning, middle and ending.

I have already read the previous books in the series, but I tried to reflect while reading to think about whether or not “if I were a new reader, would this make me want to go back and read the previous books?” Maybe, maybe not… To make matters worse, in between the plotless recounting of who’s who, were the constant sexcapades of one brother and his wife. Every time you turned around, they were running off to get naked or being caught naked somewhere. Seriously? Who actually does this when there’s a house full of 25 people??

Even after all of this, I still can’t help but love Hal Braden, his strong belief in family and his forever love for his wife. I guess I’m really not a Grinch after all.

**I was provided a free copy for my honest review of this book. I was not paid.**

A Very Braden Christmas is a charming, heartwarming tale of all the Bradens of Weston coming back home for Christmas. As the family reunites for the holiday season, readers get to see a little more into Hal Braden's relationship with his late wife, Adriana, and how he tries to keep the holiday traditions alive.

It was wonderful catching up with all the Weston Bradens and seeing what is going on in the siblings lives, and seeing how their children have not only grown, but how they interact with one another. Treat provides a special gift to not only Hal, but to his siblings who were really young when their mother passed away. It was very touching, and it was obvious how much it meant to Hal.

While I think this would be better to have read after reading all the books about the Weston Bradens, it can also work as an introductory book to the characters. That being said, there are some aspects of the story, such as Hal talking to Adriana through her horse, Hope, that are better explained if you have the read series first.

I loved that readers get to catch up with this group of Bradens, and I'm hoping we get to see more of them in the future.

Loved! If you’ve read the Braden books you’ll love this. If you haven’t you’ll still love it and want more of them guaranteed... It’s the absolute best. Have you ever wondered what went on after the last page? Melissa Foster always delivers, she’s the queen of more. That’s why I fell in love with her writing. To catch up with, the absolute best family is amazing. What is touching is how they all gather round Hall because no matter where they live he is there home. This book is just sharing how they celebrate Christmas “The Braden Way.” Hall, has a simple way of living but in the biggest way and he definitely loves to show it. Now with a house full of Grandkids the excitement keeps them busy. Between the kids Christmas excitement, wonderful family memories, teenage firsts and the parents trying to get their lust filled alone time while they can. This book is hilarious, sentimental and filled with lots of sexy moments. I always enjoy reading Melissa Fosters Books and this is one you’ll enjoy to. Make sure to have a box of tissue...

I love the Bradens so much already, after visiting them in Peaceful Harbor, but I've recently become acquainted with Hal Braden and his huge family. I've fallen in love all over again, not sure why I'm surprised Melissa Foster can captivate in under 75 pages.

This tiny novella gives a glimpse into each of the main Braden siblings, as well as Patriarch Hal. The entire family is together for Christmas and the way they celebrate had me in tears. I loved the sleepover and the insane chaos of the large family! So many kids!!!

What stuck out about this little novella was how easily you could see and feel each Braden's love for their spouse. It seems like each time you turn around, one of them is sneaking off for some "alone time". It's a true Melissa Foster book ... sexy heroes and strong women, all falling in intense, crazy love with each other.

This is a must-read holiday story that any Braden family fan should read. It's also a great introduction to the Bradens at Weston ... though careful because your head will spin with all the people!!

This felt very much like a book intended to introduce readers to the MANY family members who reside in the series. Kinda like a movie trailer, it gives new readers an enticing... and uplifting... peek at the family, so they'll want to read more of the books just so they can get better acquainted. On the other hand, for readers who've already read the other books, it must've felt like a glorious Christmas celebration with old friends... friends who easily pull off the family reunion we all long for, yet never quite attain.

There were sooooo many characters, it was a teensy bit overwhelming and difficult to keep them all straight, but maybe that wasn't the point of the book at all. As an overview, it offered a wonderful peek at a very big, very loving family, and even if you don't remember all of their names, their obvious love for each other will touch your heart. That, in itself, makes this a book worth reading.

Nein? Na, nach dieser süßen Geschichte ganz sicher!

Natürlich gibts die volle Punktzahl.

This was such a quick sweet read that brought us back to the Weston Bradens where this series all began. This holiday read shows us Braden holiday tradition that has gone back to when the group has had since they were children themselves and were started by their deceased mother.

I enjoyed catching up with this group as they have moved on and have been expanding their families since their stories have ended. I liked the story told from the multiple POV so that as a reader one is more in tune with the characters.

In the audio version of this short story, Lance Greenfield did a great job narrating and bringing this story to life while making it an enjoyable listening experience.

This was a perfect holiday addition to this series and I enjoyed it from page one and had it done in one sitting.

Catching up with the Bradens was so much fun. Having read so any of the books about this family, I can never get enough of their stories.

Learning more about Hal, the patriarch, and the love of his life, Adriana, was heartwarming and delightful. I had a tear in my eye more than once as he talked about the woman who made his life complete, and who was such wonderful mother. Stories about the kids growing up both before and after their mother died, were so touching.

The family has grown so much, with the addition of many grandchildren. Their antics at holiday time brought a smile to my face. The love the family shares knows no bounds.

Telling the story at Christmas time was perfect… everyone coming home. I hated for it to end.

One of my favorite reads. I absolutely love this book. Seeing all the family together and the news that a lot of them have is the best (sorry can’t tell you the news and spoil it for you).

This was a short story but so very worth the time. I love catching up with all the Braden’s and being reminded of each and every Braden grandbaby.

I loved spending Christmas with the Braden’s and their crazy antics. And just like every other Braden book the heat is still there, with couples sneaking away to be alone while their siblings are watching their kids. LOL

Of course, it was also nice to get to read a little more about Hal and Adriana.

Get ready for a wild ride with this bunch. They are truly a lot of fun!

A Very Braden Christmas is a short little nugget of a Christmas tale, but filled with so much gooey, holiday goodness!! Readers familiar with the boisterous and loving Braden clan are in for an all-in-one family reunion treat, while new readers will want to immediately run out and read each book in the series!

All those Bradens in one place may seem a bit confusing, I will admit! I had to stop a time or two to remember which kid went with who, and whose wife is which. But catching up with Hal and his tight-knit brood seems extra special at Christmas-time. So grab a copy, snuggle up in a comfy chair and feel all the feels in this special Christmas gift from Melissa Foster! And Happy Holidays!!

I loved being able to catch up with the first Braden family that had me falling in love with Melissa Foster and the Braden series!

I really liked how all of the children who were born in later books are a little older and their personalities are starting to show. I am still a little confused about the age gap between Layla and Adrianna (Layla was having her sixth birthday when Max and Treat announced that Max was pregnant) being only three years but otherwise, I love how close the kids are in age to each other.

I think my favorite part of the book was the ending. It is clear how much Hal loved his wife and how the two of them really taught their children that family knows no boundaries.

Can't wait for more Bradens!

This was a perfect holiday addition to this series and I enjoyed it from page one and had it done in one sitting.

I absolutely adored this short story and spending Christmas Eve with the Braden family who started it all. I loved catching up with some of my favorite couples! I love that they keep the big Christmas Eve sleepover alive no matter how many of them their are. It’s so special for Hal, his children all the grandchildren to continue something their mom held so dear! It was great to see how parenting has changed, or not changed in this case, the incredible love and devotion all of these wonderful couples have for each other, their children and their whole crazy, wonderful family. I laughed, I swooned and I cried. It was perfect!

This is the most beautiful book inside and out. I love the cover, but the story could possibly be the most beautiful Christmas story that I have read. If you have read Melissa Foster's books, you would be very familiar with the Bradens of Weston. This is their Christmas, in today's time, but as they reflect back in time to when their mother and wife was alive, and they were children. Yes, I was very jealous of their Christmas Eve, and wanted it for myself, but I was so happy to get to spend it with them. I did lots of laughing, while I was reading it, and a few tears, and I am so happy that Melissa took the time to write this novella.

This is a wonderful book to read. Such a wonderful Christmas story about the Bradens of Weston. Melissa Foster is an incredible author and my favorite. This novella catches us up with the Bradens. The Bradens are all coming home and it was a great read about all the family and their spouses. Hal Braden did and awesome job of raising his children. I enjoyed reading about all the brothers and their wives and family and Savannah and her husband and family. The most touching was the movie Treat made of the family it was so special and brought back wonderful memories. The book has laughter and tears Thank you Melissa it was very heart warming.
