With powerful prose and storytelling prowess, the story captured my attention when princess Kiira, from Lorea, who did not want to marry prince Terren, from Klynotia, whose fathers wanted to forge their two lands together to make it a stronger force. Kiira changes her mind when a magician who she was romantically involved with behaves in such an evil way it propels her into the arms of Terren. I enjoyed getting caught up in the vibrant descriptions of Kirra, an accomplished knife fighter, archer and magician. Zerrec, the 100 year old magician did everything in his power to prevent Kiira from marrying Terren, short of killing her. The trilogy continues…

This is such a fun book. The action opens straight away, great character development. Good plot twists and turns. My high school senior loved it especially - fantasy, romance, magic and good morals. Looking forward to books 2 and 3 next year!

I loved it! I adored Terren and Kiira’s relationship, the evolution of emotions were my favorite!
Liem was also another character that I enjoyed so much, such an adorable brother!

I have to be careful about what books I read, because if I get too involved in the story, it’s very hard for me to get other things done. Let’s just say, my house was a complete wreck this past week.

The story in Heart wove romance and adventure seamlessly through its pages. The author fabulously brought to life It’s most prominent characters, bringing you along the journey of their transformations through the story.

I am very anxiously awaiting to see what will happen in the coming sequels!!!!
