An Amazing Christian Novel
King of Glory by Kristen Collier is an engaging and intense page-turner with a gripping storyline full of twists and turns. The book opens in 1929 with a discovery of a mysterious scroll by the famous British archeologist and Christian, Sir William Ramsey. An angel tells Ramsey that the message of the scroll must stay sealed until the appointed time. In modern times, the scroll is discovered by a single mother named Gisele. The rest of the book centers on Gisele and her love interest, Gregorio. However, the central character of the book is Jesus.

The book is very multifaceted. It is an end times thriller. As the signs point to the soon return of Jesus Christ, the characters are drawn into the turmoil. Gisele reveals to the world what was written on the ancient scroll and evil forces in the world attempt to destroy her.

The book is a love story. It is a story of love between a man and a woman – Gisele and Gregorio. It is a story of love between a mother and child – Gisele and Jonathan. It is also a story of love between Jesus and His followers and how loving Him can change your life.

The book is also about spiritual warfare. The author provides wonderful glimpses into spiritual battles, particularly through her depiction of the power of prayer. Moreover, the story features an exciting saga of good against evil, with descriptive imagery that brings the narrative to life.

The characters are well-developed, enjoyable, and relatable. Reading their story will make you take inventory of your own spiritual life, while keeping your interest throughout. The author’s imagination leaps off the page and into your head. King of Glory would make a great movie.

You will also appreciate the thought-provoking nature of the book, particularly its insights into heaven. Kristen Collier beautifully weaves biblical truths into the narrative. It will challenge you to think deeply about life.

Overall, this book is inspiring. I strongly recommend. Reading this book will bless your life.

A very good story about spiritual conflict. A more unique book cover would be better than the one it has.

A Masterful Story of Love and Redemption

Kristen Collier's 'King of Glory' was an absolute treat. As an ecclesiastical thriller, I wasn't sure what to expect, and it took me a couple of pages to get into the book. But once it grabbed me, it never let me go. I needed to know what would happen. Kristen has an incredible mastery of words and is wonderfully descriptive in her writing. Besides the beauty of the story, I was also gaining a lesson in writing.

I concur with the sentiment that Jesus lives in the pages of 'King of Glory'. I loved how His invisible presence, love, compassion, and anger at evil are depicted. The book is a love story of a higher kind, revealing God's personal work in the lives and hearts of two couples. One whose lives are brought together by their desire to honor God, even if that means being denied love. The other... well, you'll have to read the book.

The story is packed with emotion, and at times, tears were close. The book is beautifully redemptive, exploring love, heartbreak, loss, pain, loneliness, and the role the Father and Son play in guiding, loving, protecting, and directing our paths. More than the romance, the book stopped me in my tracks to help me understand sacrificial, unconditional love. I have no hesitation recommending 'King of Glory'.

King of Glory delves into the lives of several individuals with "behind the scene" looks at the spiritual realm and the battle that rages in the midst of life everyday life. There were a couple of places where I thought interpretation may be a bit off - like Jesus seeming angry at a slight in the unseen realm - however, there was thoughtful care in the look at the prodding, protection, and planning within the spiritual world.

This is a well written book excellent character development, real life issues, struggles and outcomes. I would recommend it!

It Is Good!

I wish I could rate this book a 4.5.

I confess, I am 99% a Nonfiction reader. So, when I agreed to read ‘King of Glory’, I was admittedly a little nervous about diving into Christian fiction.

But, I’m glad I did.

Collier weaves a very readable and exciting tale of adventure and faith into this story. I was continuously impressed with the number of times she got me to laugh out loud. The characters are well developed and this book is true to its mission of inspiring people to keep their eyes on Christ … in all seasons.

Grateful to have this story in my stable. ◡̈

Wow, what to say…. I loved the archaeology at the beginning and returning later.
The description refers to Peretti’s “This Present Darkness”, an all time fave. One great thing they had in common was the angels. They had personalities and they were individuals, sometimes really funny 😄. Gisele’s angels were awesome .
I’ve always known the Lord so I can’t imagine how an unbeliever would react to “King of Glory”. For me, it’s encouraging to hear the minds of people who are so devoted to living for Jesus. Their prayers inspired me as much as being reminded that God is with me constantly, an invisible companion.
Keep in mind that this is Fiction. We’re not all drop-dead gorgeous, and we mostly don’t end up with an equally gorgeous and godly famous man. Christian single moms don’t always find someone like that to sweep them off their feet, but it makes for a good romantic storyline. Just go with it.
Throughout, Jesus was constantly pouring out His love for people. I need to keep that in my mind. The author is right about His overflowing love for us; it’s just hard to accept because we know all of our mistakes. But so does He, and He has forgiven and separated us far from it all.

This is by far one of my favorite books that I have ever read.

It can be hard to remember sometimes that Jesus is always with us because we cannot see Him. But King of Glory helped me to understand possible ways that God and Jesus COULD be moving in my life that I cannot see. It has made me think a lot about how Jesus is present in my own life. For example, He could literally be sitting next to me in the passenger seat of my car or in times where I am struggling, He is likely holding and comforting me.

This book also pointed out the emotions of the Trinity more than I have ever thought about it before. What we feel, Jesus feels too and sometimes it can be easy to forget that each part of the Trinity has emotions too. It can seem like God is removed from having something like emotions since they are such a big part of being human. But that is simply not true as we are made in God's image and God has emotions too. I love how that is showcased in King of Glory and it makes me feel like I am not alone in the emotions that I feel. God feels them along with me.

There are so many things that I loved about this book, but for spoilers sake, I will simply leave this with that it was truly a blessing getting to read this. If you can, pick up a copy. If you are anything like me, you won't be disappointed.

"King of Glory" is a truly remarkable read that swept me away from the very first page. While I loved it's depiction of spiritual warfare (I will never think the same about certain things related to spiritual warfare again because of this book!), what truly captivated me was the exquisite sweetness of the love stories woven throughout its pages. The central romance between Gisele and Gregorio is beautifully crafted, filled with genuine emotion and growth, making their journey incredibly relatable and easy to root for. You feel their struggles, their hopes, and their unwavering connection, even as the world around them descends into chaos.

Beyond the human connections, the book masterfully unveils the profound and eternal love story that God has written for all of us. The portrayal of Jesus's invisible presence, His unwavering love, and His compassionate guidance in the characters' lives is deeply moving and inspiring. It’s a powerful reminder of His love and providence for each of us.

The characters in this story are so well-developed and authentic that you feel as if you're walking alongside them. Their struggles and triumphs resonate on a deeply personal level, prompting introspection about your own faith and relationships. "King of Glory" is a testament to the power of love in all its forms, both human and divine, and a powerful exploration of the ultimate love story - the one written by God before the foundation of the world. I highly recommend it – it's a book that truly blesses your life.

A Beautiful, Spirit-Filled Journey of Faith and Redemption

King of Glory is an inspiring and emotionally rich story that pulled me in from the very first page. Kristen Collier weaves faith, love, and destiny into a powerful narrative that feels both real and divinely guided.

Gisele’s journey from a struggling single mom to someone touched by God’s purpose is moving and full of hope. The mix of spiritual depth, romance, and supernatural elements kept me captivated throughout. I especially loved how the story reminds us that even when life feels dark, God’s light can break through in unexpected ways.

This book is not just a story; it’s an experience. Beautifully written, heartfelt, and uplifting. A must-read for anyone who enjoys faith-based fiction with real emotional impact.

King of Glory by Kristen Collier is a well-written, bold narrative. I really appreciate that the writer has made this read a true-to-life scenario. It will be enjoyed by Christian readers, especially those who are mature and conversant with scriptural themes of death, rapture, angels, faith, hope, spiritual warfare, loss, divine love, relationships and eternal life. It begins with a prologue that gives an air of mystery and aura. This invites readers in, as if watching a movie. I was eagerly motivated to know what the findings of the scroll would lead to. It appears mysteriously and unexpectedly to both the reader and finder!

The author introduces her main characters, symbolically representing character types in today's real world. Christians with shallow, deep and lukewarm faith. They are deliberately chosen. Gregorio questions God when faced with challenges. Gisele has reasons to hate God sometimes. Through a surprising twist in the plot, the writer shows how these characters and others eventually remain at peace with God. I am reminded of Lord Jesus sleeping with His frightened disciples in a boat on the sea during a storm. He calmed the storm. The characters in this book receive grace and strength from the Lord to persevere through their trials because they choose to trust Him.

The language the writer used really blessed me. It reminded me that our Papa God is with us at every moment. He shares our emotions and always wishes to be closer to us if we let Him. I remember feeling shocked at what happened to Gisele. I won’t be a spoiler here, but it is so relatable to life. Finally, the rapture [end of time] theme is explored at the novel's end. There is a reunion of my favourite characters and a reunion with the King of Kings Himself. All who let Him into their lives are rewarded with eternal life. For non-Christian readers, they will be motivated and inspired to let the Lord Jesus into their lives.

I love the way Kristen Collier handled profound themes. She kept her readers close to the King of Glory, making it light to read. All through this read, I felt His assurance and encouragement. The good Shepherd in Psalms 23 came real! For me, this is a five-star book.
