Steve Banford and his wife Caitlin, are struggling, close to divorce, after his dishonourable discharge from the Navy. Their luck changes, when Steve is offered a job in Northern Greece, working on an archaeological dig, at a small Temple of Hera, near an old monastery. The dig team, consists of, mainly young post graduate Greeks, but also two Germans and a British professor on sabbatical. During World War II, Nazi gold went missing, from a transit camp for Jews, nor far away, and it seems every foreigner in the team, knows something about the gold, except Steve and Caitlin. That is, until Steve has an encounter with the Australian High Commission to Greece. Steve must use his paranormal abilities, to protect the dig team, save them from East German agents and solve the riddle of the gold, while proving new friendships and simple understanding amongst people, can create real happiness. As the story unfolds, love between Steve and Caitlin is rekindled, and with it, other people around them, find themselves falling in love, as though it were infectious and old dislikes amongst some, become full blown romance. The adventure reached a crescendo, when Steve sees the East German Agent, is caught by police, after the death of one man, and the beating of another.
