What happens when an agoraphobic knitter moves in next to a voyeuristic crocheter? A viciously beautiful romance experienced only by a small hole in the wall that separates them. A truly remarkable story about how a simple craft brought two lonely people together, if only kept apart by the very conditions that afflict them.
Well I wasn't sure what to expect but this is a touching and heartfelt look at the human struggle of loneliness and isolation and finding comfort in the most surprising places. Very original. Like Felix and oscar with a sweet spot. I am definitely looking forward to more from G. Patrick.I won't soon forget these characters and will find myself wanting to hear more of their story.
Having followed Gregory’s blog for many years now, I wanted to support him when this book came out, so I’ve bought it. It’s a short-ish novel, quite charming story but honestly, not the best thing I've ever read.
This was such an amazing quick read!! I had to chuckle at the image of the yarn being passed through the wall and the unlikely friendship that developed between Madam and Mr. Brown. I truly loved this story!!
I did not finish the book. It was poorly written and I just don't have time for that. The story wasn't compelling enough for me to slog through the drivel.
