Ellabee hits this one out of the park, love reading about paranorms that are not in every story! The story has some unexcepted turns that leaves one with the need to keep turning the page to find out what happens next. The story, wow, is just so different, there are some triggers for those who are a bit more sensitive but its eluded to not described.
The heroine of this novel is unique, strong, fierce and yet there is a softer side that appeals to the male characters need to protect. The loss of her memory is an important to the layers of this story. The other female characters are amazing, strong and do not take away from the lead.

The male characters are protective, brave, strong, fearless, and they can show in their own way that they care. Each of the men are different in personality and paranormal, and it is interesting to see how the relationship will continue to build.

This is a great start to a new series. I am interested to see where the story travels from here, there is mystery with more than one character which allows for some many different story lines and secrets to develop and reveal themselves!

This was fairly decent. I liked the main character. The plot seemed more introductory than action packed. Kendrick (or Kendy, lol) was definitely my favorite! The other two I'm a little more meh about. I will probably read the next book when it releases. 3.5 stars.

Wow - I had been putting off starting this series - the blurb just didn’t catch me. However, I have read Andrews other books and really liked them, so I decided to just jump in. I’m so glad I did. Lorelei is a Nightingale and has been singing in a paranormal circus, not knowing who her family is. On her 18th birthday she is betrayed and everything she thought she knew was a lie. Kendrick, Arius, and Daruk are interesting, unique, and keeping their own secrets. I’m excited to see what happens next!

A solid 4.5 stars

Sing for Me follows Lorelei, a Nightingale who is partially deaf and able to sing songs that affect the listener. When we first meet her, she is the star of a circus. She sings for the crowds and pines for the ringmaster. On her birthday, she learns in a horrible manner that her life is a lie and she has been a prisoner in a gilded cage. We then follow her as she tries to escape her prison and find her way home with the help of a group of guys who are supposed to be her protectors. Does she make it home? Is that home freedom or just another cage?
I think this is my favorite book by this author. The world building is very well done. We learn as Lorelei learns, piece by piece. There are various types of supernaturals in the story, and they are all unique. The settings range from the circus of supes to safe houses to her home. All of which is described well enough to get a picture without drowning in miscellaneous details. The rules of the magic in this world is not laid out because we are learning along with Lorelei and she does not know much when we start and does not know all when we finish. We do get enough info to be able to understand what we are reading though so don't worry about being confused.
The characters are interesting. They all have things about them that make them a bit different. Lorelei is partially deaf, Kendrick is an amputee and so on. I really love that the author included some diversity and has people with challenges or differences in this book. They each have a reason for their challenge and it goes along with the story. It's not stuck in there for the sake of being there. I do wish we had learned why Kendy acts like he does, but I'm hoping we get an explanation in book 2. I also hope that Lorelei gets a bit stronger in the next book. While she is not a whiny damsel in distress in this book, I am hoping we see more strength and determination come out in book 2. I believe we will based on the growth in this book and the ending. In this book, her entire world changes and she is a bit unsteady, so as she settles in I think that inner strength will begin to come out more.
The plot does not leave you lost and needing charts to figure it out. There are a few plot lines going on, and we pick up another possible plot line at the end of the book. The book plot wraps up and there are a couple of things left undone, as with any series. The book ends in a nice place, with a quick peek into what's surely going to be a problem in book 2. No major "throw your book across the room" cliffhangers here.
I will add that at the beginning of the book there is one scene that could be a trigger(rape/sexual abuse). There is also a few memories of physical abuse sprinkled within the book.
Overall, I would recommend this book, with the trigger warnings for those who might be affected by those scenes. I am looking forward to book two!

Transfixed

Lies, deceit, deception. However you want to spin it, that's the life Lori lives. And shes so unaware of it until the most devastating thing happens... betrayal. For anyone who has ever been betrayed, you know exactly how she feels. Then, then she gets three amazing saviors. That she doesnt even realize that she does truly need them is heartwarming. She doesnt even realize how much she needs and relies on them throughout the book. I loved how when she became aware of her situation she decides to be true to herself. Inner strength she has in spades but was manipulated to forget. Oh my God. Her relationship with the men and Draga is amazing. Draga amazes me and so does Sal. Those are two women who absolutely need to stick around. Even though bad stuff happens(because duh, of course bad has to happen), these flawed beautiful characters are absolutely amazing and handle themselves with a grace and intuition that's humbling to me. I cant wait to see what happens in the next book! Well done storyline and world building.

Left With Questions

This was an O.K. read for me. I had trouble staying engaged but I think that may have been the slow dissemination of information. Most of the time instead of enjoying the journey, I was trying to figure out reasonings and motives. I hope that eventually we learn the reason for the villains anger. Considering the set up of the society and his place within it, I couldn't fathom the reason for his anger. This was just one example. I don't expect to get all of the answers in the first book in a series but I do get frustrated if the MC isn't asking the questions. Anyway, besides my lack of connection and frustration with the slow or no reveals in information there were several positives. I liked the characters and am looking forward to learning more about them. I also enjoyed the positive female depictions which seem to be rare in romance fiction. I will be reading book 2.

Hands down, a great start to a new series. It's a book you can devour in hours and it grabs you from the beginning and continues to get better with the turn of each page.

Lorelei who is our main character is fantastic character who is strong willed and comes out of her shell and shows her true personality once things get moving in the story. I loved her.

The other characters are well thought out and enjoyable to get to know. Their back stories are interesting and I enjoyed learning about them. My favorite was the one who glides through shadows, that's how I explain him. He's mine. Lol.

That cliffhanger leaves you hanging and makes you beg for the next book but it fits. It makes you curious on where the story will go next and who is the mystery person??

I highly recommend this book.

a bad a** princess with amnesia and her perfect Squad

I freaking Loved it! Must read!! This is so good! Nightingale shifter and performer Lorelei though she had it all until the one person she trusted and loved sold her out .Lucky for her three sexy powerful guys Kendric, Arius and Daruk come and save her and in the process reveal to her who she truly is: a lost princess. And being a princess comes with baggage. i cannot emphasize how awesome this story was! It was so easy to read and enjoyable! I loved kendric!! He brought the humor, sass and shenanigans!! He made me laugh so much i almost peed! my new book boyfriend! There is a Game of Thrones reference of character Kahl (almos every woman knows and loves him) and i died laughing! ahh! so good! go read it you won’t be disappointed! Action and humor at its best! Best of all: LOVE ❤️. i bought book two now!

I am giving Sing For Me a solid 4.5. As always, a very entertaining read, with a strong female lead that you just cant help but root for. Strong, fierce, and soft side as well. And her guys, swoon worthy and so protective of Lorelei. I am a fool for protective guys, they just melt my heart.

The story itself is unique and hooked me quickly. The ablilty to sing and manipulate others with your singing. Also she is winged. That intrigued me, and when her men came into the picture I was done for, nothing else was getting done that day.

Over all this is an amazing read with a unique story that will have you need more. A great read!!

Wow.... I can't believe i waited this long to read it!! This book was fabulous!!! It's an alternative style of shifter romance which I loved and the guys are so amazing! I like that they aren't traditionally 'perfect' like most book guys- don't get me wrong, I still love my other book boyfriends but a sexy amputee, a hot guy with vitiligo and a sweet guy with hetrochromia (which I have too!!!!) Honestly who could ask for more??? And our Princess is just so strong and beautiful!!! With some awesome best friends!!! I can't wait for book 2 where hopefully it gets a little steamier because damn... If like tinted some of that....

I had an issue with a few things in the beginning but tried to ignore them.
I didn’t care much for the book at first, probably because of the issues I had, but it did get better
Issue #1
There isn’t really any character development with Lorelei. She literally goes from meek, shy and innocent to sassy and snappy over night.
Issue #2
Her BFF - self proclaimed sister leaves her for a woman with in a few hours of meeting that woman. Real loyal, that one 😒.
Issue #3
They can’t find out how a magical sorcerer is tracking them?! Come on, really?!

I almost gave up around 40% but I finished it and now I’m curious enough to to read book 2 :)

I love this book! I am a huge fan of Ellabee's work, and this one is no disappointment.

I LOVE the fact it's not an insta-love. I LOVE the fact her first love isn't her one. I LOVE the fact the bad guys aren't all clear cut and obvious.

We have depth, we have world building. We are learning of the outside world as Lorelei sees it, and I LOVE the guys. Even Kendrick, the jerk... and I can't wait to read more!

Awesome start for a series! Exciting twists held my attention in this slow-burn reverse harem. I’m a PNR fan, and I highly enjoyed the amazing characters and world building- it was fresh and adventurous. A little darkness in the beginning only adds to the depth of our storyline. Can’t wait for the next in this series!

Loved

Andrews has a unique view when telling stories. I appreciate the way she world and character builds. This tale is no different. It’s got all the hallmarks of the paranormal world but undeniably distinct. Sing For Me walks a razor thin line on the dark side but still remains light. Must read.

Good start

All in all a good start to a new series. It took a bit for me to get into the book but when I did it didn't take me long to finish it. I look forward to where it goes in the next one. So far I've enjoyed 2 different books/worlds by this author and will be checking out what else she has to offer.

No spoilers of any kind included.
This book was awesome, it was fast pace with lots of action but no steam yet
But that cliffhanger was pretty brutal but then again cliffhangers are always brutal. Lol
All in all I absolutely loved this book and I am so looking forward to the next book in this series because I have to know what happens next to all the MCs.
Ellabee Andrews is definitely an amazing story weaver and I look forward to all the masterpieces that she creates.
So yes I most definitely do recommend this book to anyone who’s searching for a fantastic story to climb into and get completely hooked on the story.

I have just finished reading sing for me and omg it’s awesome 😱 it was so different and the story line was great too. The characters were described so well I could picture them perfectly in my head. And it’s new supernaturals for me again too which is always a bonus coz it’s something new and not like anything I’ve read before. such a talented author the book had my emotions all over the place from laughter to tears. It’s so difficult for me to find new books that instantly grab my attention, but yours are always so different and they literally have me hooked from the first chapter. I cannot wait to read the next one!!

A decent start to a new series. I personally would have preferred a bit more of a look into the MCs life at the circus, and also a bit more realistic reactions to trauma. Overall, I am willing to check out the next book.

Unique new series

I've read a lot of books with shifters but have never come across a nightingale before. This made for an interesting story with unique characters and an intriguing new world. I think book 2 is going to be even better!

Not with music but with words. This is the 2nd book I have read by this author and the magic that she weaves into her stories are a form of singing only she can pull off. I can't wait for the next book
