Ella Fierce is the lone girl of the Fierce Five. She’s calm. She’s cool. She’s collected. The rock of the quintuplets. Only no one knows she crumbles like a ten-day-old stale cookie left out on the counter unwrapped when it comes to men. And if she has her way, no one ever will.
Travis McKinley suffered an unthinkable loss forcing him to reevaluate his life and priorities. All those things that made him who he was—all those things that made him a strong protector—were now floating away in the wind. He’d failed those closest to him and he wasn’t sure he’d ever even want to succeed again. Until Ella Fierce. The only problem? She all but chews him up and spits him out every time she sees him.
Ella Fierce is the last of the Fierce Five to get her shot at finding The One, in this series all about Jolene and Gavin’s quintuplets by Natalie Ann.
Travis McKinnley, the man behind their security ever since Aiden’s mistake in putting his trust in his ex-friend Craig. From the first time he met Ella, he’s always gotten the impression she was an ice queen. A woman he would have to spoil, if not protect because she can obviously hold her own.
Ella, being the only girl born of the Five as well as the baby of the group, has always felt she had to have some walls around her girly-ness or anything she perceived as a weakness to shove her strength in her brothers faces. Along with all her brothers being fiercely protective and warning all men off of her, and most potential friends or boyfriends being after either her brothers or her family name, she’s closed herself off from everyone outside of her family.
I’ve been waiting for her story to come along, and it has honestly been my favorite. From the different tone of the story following her POV, to her vastly different personality shining through. I’ll be honest and say; I tend to relate more to the women MC’s.
That teaser at the end, makes me so excited to get more on their other family members. Even though the first book, following Aiden as the MC, gave you great insight into their immediate family after his book only two phrases relating to how they were widely-referred and their base character outlines was ever mentioned. Which, all-around, kept me from being completely in love with either the individual books or the series as a whole.
I am incredibly honored to have received this ARC. I have followed the Fierce Five from the beginning with Brody and fallen in love with the whole family. Ella is the fifth born in the set of Fierce quints and the only girl. Ella has had to stand up to her brothers many, many times to get to where she is. Ella pretty much runs Fierce, she sure does what no one else wants to. Ella has been hurt in th past, and men only want her because of her name because no one wants to deal with the Fierce brothers. Ella remains cold and keeps her heart guarded because she doesn't want to be hurt again, she can't control love, she can control work, her life is her family's business. Travis has been taking care of the Fierce security since his dad retired and he took over. Travis has said a word or two to Ella Fierce, but she always gives him the cold should. Travis has no idea why she disliked him. Ella is always talk about in the prior books, but is always portrayed so differently. I like that Ella and even Travis are not like what the prior books lead me to believe. I like the way Jolene has to believe she had a hand in it. I think the best and most unexpected part was the twist at the end with Gavin. There are implications of more Fierce stories with cousins, so I'm interested to see were that goes. This is such a great series, get to know the Fierce family, I bet you won't be sorry!
This series is such a delight and Ella is the fiercest of them all! Natalie Ann writes refreshing and unique relationship stories. Quintuplets--how cool a concept is that? The story is believable and the conversation and interaction between all the characters are believable and a fun read. I found myself deeply invested in the outcome of each Fierce's romance and couldn't wait to read Ella's story. Worth the wait, for sure!
Ella, the final Fierce, is always the one to keep each of her four siblings (quintuplets) on track and protect all things Fierce; her story tells you what made her that way. Ella Fierce is fine on her own and work is all she needs. Travis McKinley is tough and rugged ex-military and was also his family’s protector until he suffered a loss than made him rethink everything. Together, Ella and Travis have to come to terms with the past and overcome their fear of commitment.
I had a feeling Ella and Travis would end up together because of their interactions in the previous books in the series. They’ve both been hurt in the past and put up walls around their hearts. Ella by someone who used her in college to get good grades and Travis when his pregnant fiance was killed while was serving overseas with the Navy Seals. Ella has to learn to trust a man, other than her brothers and father, again. Travis has to accept that it wasn’t his fault what happened to his fiance and that he is worthy of being loved again. There were plenty of funny and sexy romantic moments in this final chapter in the Fierce sibling series. I loved that Gavin and not Jolene had a hand in pairing them up. I can’t wait to read what mischief Jolene and Gavin get into over the Fierce cousins’ love lives.
Ella knew her mom best, but not her dad! This is about Ella and Travis. This is the last of the fierce five where Ella is making sure her mom has no say on whom she picks for her ever after. Ella has always been fierce, and she is that today, but there is another side of her that not many know until a past comes into her life again, and Travis figures it out immediately. Travis has his own story and one that is heart breaking but when he opens up Ella is drawn in, but what he does at the end is awesome and Gavin has something to say about it too, it was great. Now that the fierce five is done, we turn to their cousins next, can’t wait to read up on them, as Gavin and Jolene are involved as well!
Couldn’t wait for Ella’s story. I had just finished Cade 2 days before Ella was to be released. Got it and finished it all in one sitting. I’m so happy that she gave Travis a shot and I’m also happy that she didn’t have any horrible secrets hiding in her past. I think the best part about her story was the fact that Jolene insisted that she fix Ella up just like she did the boys when in all actuality it was Gavin who set it up and it took years before Ella even acknowledged Travis. It was a very deep and heart felt story and I love the fact that there will be a series coming called the Fierce family.
Mizz Natalie ends her Fierce Five series with an AMAZBALLS romance that hit my heart. I'm a born military brat, so I loved that an Ex Navy SEAL was in this story of true acceptance!! Mizz Natalie begins a new series of the Fairy Godmama & Godpapa who are going to sprinkle lots of loving dust on their Bruce & many nephews!! Mizz Natalie gets another top score of 5 fingers up & 10 toes & leaves this romance with future mischief of the Fairy Godfolks!!
I am volunteering to leave a review of this ARC book. I am unashamedly, a Fierce Fan! I have fallen in love with every one of the Fierce children, and their parents. Natalie Ann hit multiple home runs for me with this series. Entertaining, engaging, thoughtful. Humorous, painful, emotional, heart-warming. If anyone could deal with Ella's brothers, it's Travis. Former military, the only thing that shakes him, is a woman. Can he break down Ella's walls? Another Fantastic Fierce!
Another great book by Natalie Ann. I loved the story of Ella. The book was very entertaining with the continued story of the Fierce Five siblings. A great love story of the only girl in the family of five siblings. I gave this book five stars because it was entertaining and we'll written. I loved the Fierce Five series and would recommend this series to anyone who likes clean, interesting, strong family morals and happy endings.
Enjoyed the series. Surprised about who was the matchmaker. still waiting on the parent's story.
Fav quotes: ".......I’ll find a drawer for you. I promise.” “Then I know I’m special if you’re going to make room for me in your house somewhere. I just hope that drawer isn’t in the kitchen.”
“Are there no secrets in this family?” Ella asked, shoveling another mouthful in......"You should know better than to ask that.”
Ah, the last of the Fierce Five, Ella didn't need her Mum to find a mate for her. It was someone she had her eye on for some time. Just fate bringing them together in a different setting, allowing the two of them to see how similar their tastes in life choices were, that set them on their road to discovery. Great end to this series, revealing some secrets that have been talked about in previous episodes.
I absolutely loved this book! I couldnt wait to read it. Ive read all the other ones in the series and loved all of them. I hope there are more books soon about the extended family. The only thing I didnt like about this book was the cover. It made ella look kind of freaky with a tint body and big head and waaaayyy to skinny.
I enjoyed Ella's story. The best was saved for last. I had thought all along that this was her match after some brief interactions In the other stories. Often what we believe we want isn't really what we need. I'm glad Ella got her happily ever after. Can't wait for the cousins stories
Catching up with the Fierce family was enjoyable and Ella's story was a great ending to the series. Travis' back story had a lot of sadness, but he was extremely likeable and I felt great empathy for him. His patience with Ella was admirable.
This book had a bit of sadness added in with the happily ever after, but the author also introduces a whole new cast of characters for future episodes.
Really enjoyed this series. I love the matchmaking families. Ella and Travis were perfect for each other and worked through their issues to get their HEA. Looking forward to more Fierce family fun.
As a follower of this series, I love how Natalie Ann makes you feel like you know this family personally. This is another great book that keeps you turning the pages. Looking forward to the next in the series.
Ella is a tough, strong woman that is sheltering her heart. Travis osns the security company that deals with her family business. They are a great match. She slowly opens her heart and he learns to forgive himself and move on. Great series
Ella has four brothers she has competed with and been teased by all her life. They all work together in the family bar/restaurant/brewery. She rarely dates and now her brothers are all booked up, it's her turn to find someone.
Ella was so precious. I liked that she was tough and could hold her own with her big ole brothers. Travis was a special treat and I felt he was actually perfect for Ella. Gavin was hysterical. Now let’s see what happens next.
