Is it worth to read that book?

If you already understand the difference between P&L and cash flows and you know why efficiency metrics are important then probably not. If until now you didn't get any knowledge about the company's finance then that book is a good start.
It explains what P&L, cash flow, equity etc. are and why their level depends on how exactly daily tasks at a company are measured.
Only around 50% of the book is about finance The rest is about why the company shouldn't depend on its CEO, why processes are important and why CEO should work on the company not in the company. That concept is great but already well known. And was well known in 2018 when the book was published.
If need basic of basics - read it. If you know basic read "Simple Numbers, Straight Talk, Big Profits!".

Not specific enough to be overly practical but the topics served as good reminders to keep you sharp. I liked the discussion on how profit and cash are inextricably linked. I also liked how CFOs differ from accountants in how they look forward, evaluate the reasonableness of the future plan, train employees to have a profit mindset, exert influence indirectly, and focus on aging collections. A good overview of what a CFO needs to focus on.

A very good book.

It is one of the best business books I’ve ever read.
It’s the second book I’ve read from E-myth series and it’s been a great read. Highly recommended for small business owners.

I found this book spot on. Better than the original. I like the tie in with real world experience.
