Yet another one

At first it had my attention but then it turned into another bash my baby momma book. I'm tired of of reading these, instead of destroying one character to uplift another character why not uplift them all its becoming repetitive at this point. I knew as soon as the abusive husband came in where this book was headed to be honest Ava set herself up for failure she isn't broke by any means she could've disappeared. Shawn was misguided and misdirected by her only parental figure if anyone was a victim it was her as far as Kelvin yeah he stepped up as a father but was an ain't shyt manchild. Craig could just disappear. So because of this I gave it 3 stars.

Good read

This was a quick read but good. Shawn was a straight hoe! Her my wasn't any better teacher her how to sex a man for money. I'm glad Tammy made peace with herself prior to leaving. Bianca was the sweetest person every. I loved how she took on the role of Kelvin's mother. I loved their bond. I hate Lucky had to die, but glad he ensured his family taken care of. Ava was weak only person she felt all alone. I'm glad she had Shonda and Kelvin to help. Destiny was a sweetie. Why was Lucky's killer not revealed? Why didn't Kelvin and Ava get married?

Valuable background information provided made the story easy to follow and a page turner. Once I started reading, I didn't put this one down. While Kelvin had a troubled childhood while living with his mom, once he reached age, Kelvin was a true boss and took care of his loved ones. Shawn was a trifling individual and Craig was her male counterpart. I truly felt bad for what Ava experienced. Realistic situations and relatable characters helped make this a good story.

Now that’s an ending

I loved every page that I turned. Of course I would have killed Craig’s ass along time ago. Ava had to really broken to put up with the shit she did. Karma definitely had its way on coming back around. I was glad that Kelvin was able to right his wrong with Ava.Loved this!!!

Great book

This was a good book. I'm glad Ava and Kelvin finally got that happy ending that they both wanted. I wasn't surprised when Shawn gave up her parental rights because she was unfit and didn't want her daughter from the beginning. I really enjoyed this book and I would recommend it.

some parent ain’t shit

This book proves that some parents aren’t meant to have kids and that others can step up and be better parents than the biological. Plus it proves that sometimes you never forget your first love and that love never dies and maybe comes back around for a happy ending

Love lost and regained!!

Kelvin and Ava’s love got interrupted by multiple obstacles, but everything came full circle. Craig and Shawn, exes of Kelvin and Ava also deserved each other for totally different reasons. Craig should have let what he experienced as a child guide his way, but no he chose the opposite path. Shawn was just an sorry excuse as woman and mother!!

Nice quick Read!

Domestic violence is so serious. In our minds on the outside looking in. We think its simple as just packing up and leaving! But for some it's a mental block of fear and what ifs.

A second chance

Life is funny and some will get a chance to right their wrongs, where some will never understand the wrong they did. When you ask for strength, be wise to use it when given. Sometimes KARMA is served as Justice.

Good Read

A good read that I enjoyed reading. The characters are interesting dealing with some realistic issues. The dysfunction, domestic violence and mental illness are all issues that people deal with every day.
