All Hallow’s Eve is known for frolic and fun, and that is exactly what Joey Benton is counting on when she takes her daughter trick-or-treating for the first time.
Until the angels are cast from Heaven, and demons rise from Hell.
In the dark hours of the night, prophecies are destroyed, destinies rewritten. And the deadliest threat is much closer than it seems.
I really love these characters and I was looking forward to this book. The writing is wonderful but I really dislike books that are incomplete. This one is incomplete and leaves the reader hanging.
My favorite authors including Andris, until now, don't leave their readers hanging. They write so well that we keep buying their books. It seems to me that a writer only does this when they think their readers won't like their work enough to buy another book. So they try to force us to buy the next book by leaving their work incomplete. I bought the first 6 books of this series without this ploy. Now I am irritated.
Ms. Bear picks up the story of Joey Benton on Halloween night, but not like any Halloween you'd ever want to encounter. Plain old monsters would be bad enough but the apocalypse? Angels crashing to ground, rescuers turning to stone—and you leave me with that cliff hanger? If you haven't gotten hooked on this series yet, now's the time to get started so we can stalk Ms. Bear together for the next chapter.
A nail biter from beginning to end. This short installment in the Deadly Sins series reunites all my favorite angels and demons in a book that bridges the story line together in what I can only hope is going to be an awesome and satisfying conclusion to this series. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because the reader has to wait for the next book in the series.
Andris has a very creative imagination! There are twists & turns everywhere. It kept me on the edge hoping, waiting, praying for the good guys. Heaven vs Hell, will the b---- win? No spoilers from me! You got to read her series. Andris also has freebies for her followers. She stays in touch with you.
I loved this book couldn't put it down. this book was short but it had so much story, it was intense it was funny & all the characters were great can't wait to read the next one....I hope I don't have to wait too long.
