The Joy of Fearing God is an encouraging and challenging book, full of scriptural truth. This is an area I have felt compelled to grow in for years. And it’s a book I plan to come back to again. The focus is on dependence of God, worship and obedience. I highly recommend this book. It caused me to examine my relationship with God and hopefully apply the truths Jerry Bridges shares about fearing God and the joy that comes when we practice His presence and grow in our awe of Him.
