What a book! I was so engrossed in the story from the get go. The writing style is so brilliantly done. The mystery and the back-to-back puzzling information was so good. As I was reading, I was really impressed by the distinctive characters, plot and the emotions running throughout the book. I couldn’t put it down! The pacing of the story is done correctly and the chapters are the right size. You can really feel yourself being placed in the book as well being in the mix of it all.
One thing in particular which I really liked was the determination not only from Sonia and the others. But the police officer who took over the case. His determination shined continuously and what a smart man he was! The side characters also having a part which was vital to the story just shows how the author cleverly placed them in her book.
From start to finish, I didn’t want to put the book down. It’s a really good page turner as time flew by and I didn’t even realise.

J'ai été de suite happée par l'histoire et j'ai lu ce roman très vite. Une plume très agréable et facile. Il y a certainement des raccourcis quant aux procédures légales d'enquêtes de la gendarmerie, mais cela ne nuit pas à l'histoire. Il est certain que je lirai un autre roman de cette autrice que je viens de découvrir.
