This is definitely not just an erotica book, it is so much more. Muffy Wilson wove a heartwarming story that was not only a sensual read but a tale of love. This heartwarming read gripped my heart so hard at times, I cried like a baby, as I suffered through deep fits of emotion, sadness, heartbreak and happiness.
After ten years, Jordan reaches out to a man who she had shared one night of true passion and love that would forever stay in her heart.
Mason a man with three children and a dying wife his surprised when Jordan shows up at his office. After ten years, this lovely woman still makes his heart skip a beat. When she tells him of a daughter, they had created in their one night love affair, he is conflicted, mostly on why she had taken ten years to tell him. She reveals to him that her daughter is ill and in desperate need of a liver transplant and it is the reason why she has confessed to him that he is the father, needing him to help and of course he will. Things take a change, when his wife dies and after he is tested to see if he is a match for a possible liver transplant for Jordan's daughter he invites them to visit days earlier, to stay at his house. But what are his real intentions, is it to celebrate the possiblity that he may be a match or is to revisit that night, to relive that love and passion he had with Jordan?

I really enjoyed reading this book because it is very well written and has a very good storyline. I like the mix of romance and erotica in this book. The language is good and it helps to drive the story and as a reader I appreciate a good language in a book.
The characters in this book is very well written and felt so real and awesome. I could easy connect wiht the characters in the book on so many levels. I liked the development of the characters in the book, you can see and feel how they grow along with the story and you see them grow.
If you like romance and erotic novels BUT with a great story, then this is a book you would love and should read. The book is really great and it has ended up on my wishlist because I want it as a paperback. This is how good I think the book is.

One night was all they had together. When time passes and the two reunite, they have choices that make the question of reconciliation a hard turn and an even harder turn. Descriptive, immersive, and prosaic bordering on poetic at times, I found myself emotionally vested and turning those pages -- eager for the resolution. A recommended read for escape with a vast emotional landscape.

Ms Wilson is certainly an exemplary storyteller. Her narrative is almost poetic, Beautifully crafted, and well paced. It's an emotionally charged story full of love, secrets, and steamy encounters. The characters are charming, and they make this love story a joy to read. Highly recommended.

First of all, I loved the underlying story line. The way it was laid out was just a little over the top for me. Mason and Jordan come together for one reason: their daughter, Lily. Lily is very sick and needs a liver transplant. Jordan goes to Mason to tell him about Lily's existence as well as to ask for help. During this, she breaks down multiple times, which (as I said before) was a little much for me.

This story is a very interesting mix of erotic romance and sweet family story. It begins when a young woman, Jordan, attends a concert featuring opera star Mason. He notices her in the audience and seems to sing especially for her. She responds to his overwhelming presence and the two to them spend a passionate night together.
Years later, we discover that Jordan has given birth to Mason's daughter. She never told him of Lily's existence, because though he was separated at the time of his interlude with Jordan, he and his wife later reconciled. Jordan never wanted to interfere with his life or marriage, but now things have changed. Lily is deathly ill, in need of a liver transplant, and Mason is her last hope.
This is a very touching, emotional and, in spite of the tragic theme, enjoyable story. The sexy parts occur at the beginning and end of the story. In between we have an emotional tale about dealing with the loss of a spouse, the possible loss of a child, and the upheaval in family life that changed circumstances bring. Jordan and Mason were characters I liked and admired very much. They put their responsibilities to their children (Mason has three with his late wife, in addition to Lily) before their own concerns. Even so, their old connection stirs memories and they realize their love has never died.
I really enjoyed the supporting characters as well. Miss Maddie, the housekeeper, is a gem, wanting to protect Mason and his children while developing a soft spot for Lily and Jordan. The kids were adorable, though maybe a bit too sweet at times--there was no sibling rivalry or tussling, none of the brattiness that might be expected from even the best behaved children. This is an interracial romance, Jordan being white and Mason black. I thought Mason's race was referred to perhaps too often in the opening chapter, though it isn't much of an issue as the story continues. There's really not much to complain about in this story. It was a very heartfelt read.
That said, I was a bit surprised that the book concluded before all the story threads were tied up! That means a second book is in the works. I hope Ms. Wilson publishes it soon--I need to find out what happens to Lily, Jordan, Mason and everyone else! I highly recommend Moonbeams of Unintended Consequences.

This is my second story that I read by Muffy Wilson and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed this mix of romance and erotica in this story. Ms Wilson has given us a story line that flows smoothly from start to finish. The characters were easy to connect with and were well to developed and they seemed to grow with each other through the whole story. Ms Wilson has given us a very heartwarming story that tells about love and the emotions are strong and makes you feel sadness .happiness, heartbreak, and even more. This story is about Jordan and Mason ,It's been 10 years since Jordan has seem Mason and she's in town to see him. Jordan and Mason had spent one night of passion together and they haven't seen each other since then. Because Mason is married with three children and he also has a wife who's dying. But he's totally surprised when she shows up at his office, but after all these years he's still attracted to the beautiful Jordan. But he's wondering why she's come to see him, and then to his surprise she tells him that they have a daughter together, who is sick and needs a kidney transplant . He wonders why she ever told him about their daughter. Is the only realize she's tell him now about their daughter because she's sick,because she's needs his help? I could go on and tell you so much more about what happens next with Jordan and Mason, but that would spoil the story for you. I highly recommend that you read this touching story, because you won't be disappointed.

To me this book was heavy but at the same time not. It's so much more than an erotica book as this book is very heavy with children being a major focus of the book. I found the maturity of the children almost unbelievable as they were so together with everything that they were going through and were facing. I know there is no way my own children would be that together, but having not gone through anything that had happened in the book I could be totally wrong.
I really enjoyed the book and almost felt like there could be a second book to tell us what happens with Lily as I am so curious!!

I LOVED LOVED LOVED this story, it is a fantastic mix of everything and leaves you crying one moment and hot as hell the next. The storyline and plot is fantastic with lots of things to keep you reading and interested through the whole book and difficulty with putting it down (yes you will do the whole just one more chapter then ill stop though the whole book)the beautiful descriptive writing makes this story flow perfectly which makes it an absolute pleasure to read!!!
The characters are unique and ‘real’ with real life situations that can trouble families dealt with sensitively and really well.
I don’t want to say anymore as I don’t want to give away a single part of this story as it one that will be enjoyed from the first word to the last.

Sensual, passionate, timeless.... Muffy Wilson makes the reader feel as though he/she is in the room with all the characters. This lovingly written story of love, family and healing is so well told, you will find it hard to put down. Your heart will long for more and you wants to continue reading. Reading it out-loud with my partner makes it more real than reading in silence. It is a story of love, sacrifice and transcendence - enough to mend a broken heart. I highly recommend this book.

This book wasn’t at all what I expected. I have never read an erotic novel where children feature so strongly. Muffy Wilson brings them to life on the page with all their lively innocence and healing capabilities. I long to find out what happens to Lily. It’s a story of love, loss and redemption with sympathetic characters in a heart-wrenching situation. Jordan is a fabulous heroine, and her love for Mason is like the music which first drew her to him: full of passion and lyrical longing.

Sorry to say but this book plot is not my cup of tea. Mason met Jordan while he's having his concert. And he's a married man. He's separated from his Wife but he's still married and have a baby girl. He claims that he loves his Wife while they're separated so I'm not sure why he wanna hook up with Jordan. I only kept reading to find out what happen to Lily. ☹️
