AMAZING! A fantastic, well written read. An intense storyline that holds your attention as you get caught up in the fierce twists and hot chemistry. Plenty of excitement and emotionally heartfelt. A thrilling must read.

4+ Stars! Standalone steamy romance with a positive message - Very rare combination!

For adults only (18+ years) Contains subject matter that could be a trigger or offensive to some, including: adult language, steamy hot adult intimate scenes and other subject matter (domestic abuse, berating, shame, bullying, etc.). If any of these types of situations are a trigger, or offensive to you, then this may not be the story or series for you.

This story can be read as a standalone, as this was the first story that I recall reading from this author / series, but I was still able to follow, although not all of the background was supplied. It would have probably been more fulfilling had I read them in order.

The story universe, characters, and plot were all solid and engaging. Once I opened the ebook from KU, I found it difficult to stop, before a migraine finally made the decision for me ... )) The two main characters, Finn and Marina, have a wonderful chemistry and sense of humor that is displayed throughout their interactions. Some of the antics are thrilling while still being embarrassing and funny. There were a couple times that I feared I would wake my husband, but fortunately he is a sound sleeper.

The only reason I couldn't rate the story higher had to due with the number of grammatical errors. I could decipher the author's intent, but some of these involved changing the gender and tenses. I would still recommend the story and will myself be looking for future stories.

I volunteered to leave a honest review of an ARC provided by the author and Booksprout. I then decided to read the actual release through KU. Love that program!

Loooove the body positive theme of this series: plus size ladies have a lot of love to give & deserve love in return. if I could find Biggal Mtn, I'd move there so quick I'd be a blur!
This is the 2nd book in this series, I read & liked the 1st & this one was very good too. I noticed only a few errors here & there.
I enjoyed the plot~~~ a divorced mother of 'a certain size' finding her way to independence after years with a controlling jerk of a husband. While I loved Finn (H)~~~ huge, muscled, bearded, gentle & kind, I didn't care much for Marina (h) at all. However, that is just ME. I don't care for aggressive brash in your face heroines (she wasn't that way with her ex-husband) but again that's me.
There's also insta-attraction, insta-lust & insta-sex between Finn & Marina, this is a short story so that's understandable albeit unrealistic. But this is intended to be a quick sexy romance between our hero & heroine & that is exactly what it is. So, although it is very 'insta', it certainly has plenty of steamy encounters & does leave the reader with a smile.
There's no violence, no OW/OM cheating, no over the top drama.
Very good enjoyable romp of a quick & satisfying kind.

It's always great to read about women who are "normal" in size and intelligent and aggressive in nature. It wasn't always the case here with a dominant ex-husband who demanded submissiveness and cheated on his wife. She's going for it now that she's out of that sham of a marriage and into a job where the boss finds her to be the most beautiful woman.

The writer does a wonderful job with the subject matter. It was kind of hard to picture Marina, though. "Pleasingly plump" can mean an awful lot of things. Are we talking size 10/12, 16/18 or size 22/24? Each type influences how this woman perceives herself and how the world looks at her.

I recommend this writer and this book for romance readers who enjoy BBW stories.

Could have been better

The characters in the book were enjoyable but they lacked substance. The reader only knows the basics. Not to mention I had a very hard time believing that a super fine guy would lust so hard for a fat woman. Being a fat woman myself I could believe that aliens might kidnap me for a wife before I could believe that a hot guy would lust for me .I know its all fantasy fiction anyway, but yunno , just sayin'...

Being True to Yourself

Marina needs to get her life back in order after finding her husband cheating on her. Finding a job then divorcing him is just the beginning. When she gets a promotion at work it comes with a boss who is everything she never knew she wanted and needed. Will she be able to move past what happened in the past and be happy with Finn?
Exciting as Marina finds her self confidence to become the woman she is.

Gosh, can I live on Biggal Mountain?!? I just love body positive stories! This one is a keeper. There is steam and a bit of intrigue here. I really enjoyed the story line and flew right though the book. This is a first book for me from this author and will not be the last!

I LOVED this book. I will not give the synopsis since you can read the blurb and others give more detail but I definitely recommend!
The chemistry, sexiness, sweetness, and twists in plot kept things very interesting.

I cannot wait to read more by this author. Definitely worth your time!

A nice switch

From the docile young thing trope. I like that this chick had some cojones. The truck scene was just ridiculous considering just everything the setting too distracting but I really enjoyed this book
