Meow, My name is Milo and I am a brown cat. I am a gregarious kitten and I’ve got many a parrot, a dog called Max, Missy who is a cat, and even Lemon. Do you want to know who Lemon is? You will get to know about that from this book. Have you heard that all cats walk their own way? I am not an exception. You have no idea how many interesting places I’ve visited. I was in the library, at school and even on tennis courts. Everywhere I went, I had a lot of adventures, which I describe in this book. By the way, my lady is Julia. She goes to the third grade of junior school. She helped me a little in writing this book. She has also authored all the drawings. I hope you will enjoy them. I wish you a pleasant reading. Milo
Author/illustrator Julia Wojciechowska makes her publishing debut with this charming book for children. Not only is the story one to which children may comfortably relate to, but the accompanying illustrations are rendered in the style with which a child can warmly think ‘I can do that’ – simple, colorful, and very appropriate to the story.
Milo – a brown cat with yellow-green eyes and long whiskers, lives in an apartment with his ‘lady’ Julia – a third grader who leaves every morning for school and returns in the evening – a fact that makes Milo wonder why cats aren’t allow to be taken to school. Milo describes his living conditions in a big housing estate in the city. Milo informs us that Mom and Dad live there too, and from a cat’s viewpoint we view the world and the idiosyncrasies of his family – and the ‘neighbors’ – a colorful talking parrot, Max a white dog, and Missy a cat.
From a cat’s stance we visit the concept of libraries, painting portraits, trips to the park, the addition of a fish in an aquarium (Julia’s idea), a visit to the school, a trip to the veterinarian, a trip to the tennis courts, a garden, a visit form Grandma, a birthday party and more.
The entire book is related form Milo’s point of view – a very interesting perspective and one children will love. This is a fine start for a new children’s book author.

Milo lives with his "lady" Julia in a huge housing estate on the third floor. He also has Julia's parents, but doesn't seem to mind them, as long as his bowls are full of goodies. Milo has many friends, and often goes on adventures beyond the boundaries of his small two bedroom apartment. He has interesting friends, from a talking parrot, to a dog named Max, and even another cat. This tale is completely written from the perspective of Milo; it's fun to learn of the world through a cat's eyes, his perceptions, and how he communicates.
