A must read for fantasy lovers.'
What Amazon readers are saying about the series Dragon's 'Dragon's Love's Impulse.'★★★★★ 'Loved the story. I loved the entire series. The characters are wonderful and I love how she uses past characters in previous books in the new ones. Each story is unique. The best part is these stories are all about family. I love that she includes children in these novels, which makes them more realistic to my mind, despite them being fantasy. I saw the next book coming out says it will be the last of this series and I hope it isn't. This series could have a long successful run. I loved this series so much, I am in the middle of buying the print books. If the author is reading this post, PLEASE keep this series going.
Enjoyable read as the Elves return to Earth and Dragon’s Gap.
I’ve really fallen into this story. I can’t believe the next book is the last one.
I had the advantage of reading this when the whole series was available. So the cliffhanger warning didn’t mean much. But I also have to say I didn’t really class it as a cliffhanger anyway…
Ocean and Conor
This concludes the Dragon’s Gap series. Well apart from the Christmas short I’m reading after this.
This series got off to a bumpy start but something kept me reading. On the whole I’ve enjoyed it. Yes it needs editing desperately and there’s holes in the story. But all things considered I’ve enjoyed it and I’ll be sorry to say goodbye.
A Christmas Surprise - 3*
A cute little Christmas short as Dragon’s Gap celebrates its first ever Christmas.
One of the best dragon series I have read . All the stories intertwine, and merge with each other . On a par with Anne Macaffery, and the dragons of Pern A must read for anyone who loves dragons and other shifters ands witches

I really do love the stories you tell. However...you need to learn where a question mark, a comma and an exclamation mark go. Also some of you sentences are not full sentences. But the story is so worthwhile I power through.
This is a wonderful series I’ve read everything 1-8 including the Christmas novella included in this volume If you can get past the numerous grammatical errors weird manner of writing at some times. and the discombobulated jumping around type of story telling that reads more like a newspaper article mixed up with character p.o.v. Then you will enjoy the wonderful world of Dragon’s Gap.

A Christmas Surprise A sweet slice of life holiday story. Reighn and Sage decide to bring Christmas to Dragons Gap. The extended Kingsley family break up into teams to create something special for the whole town to enjoy. Just maybe Santa Dragon will gift lil’ sweet Cara with pink hair. Finally as she has been begging for pink hair for …what 4 books now?
The stories, while engaging and interesting, are in dire need of editing. Some people don't mind spending money on books that read like they are still a work-in-progress. I'm not one of them. Unfortunately, I bought the entire series based on the blurb for the first book in the series. Lesson learned. I have never read any book that was published in this condition. Since I did purchase the entire series, I will be writing reviews of each one. And just in case she petitions Goodreads to take down my reviews, they will still exist on my blog.
Because of the egregious number of errors that follow from one book into the next, I will no longer be buying entire series sight unseen, based on a blurb, regardless how interesting it sounds. She has my money, kudos to her.
As I've said in previous reviews of this series, I believe her fan base deserves better than a book rushed through with no attention paid to the quality of the finished product - that includes editing. In spite of being an editor myself, I would refuse to take on this author for her lack of professionalism in the face of a review she objects to. I still firmly believe each book I've read so far should be removed from Amazon and any other online bookseller she uses until such time as she finds an editor willing to work with her.
She has several 5-star reviews, some of which mention the numerous errors. There are also several reviews on Amazon from people who found the errors too distracting to continue reading the book. Just know that if you write a negative review, you may very well be subjected to hate email and labeled a troll.
An Awesome series, a Must read for all Dragon shifter lovers
A most entertaining and attention holding series. Each could be a stand alone, but why, when each story blends seamlessly into the next. Each fill with lushes buffed men who can turn into gorgeous Dragons, and the females they are surprised to discover as their mates. Some human, or shifter, fairy, or Elf, each a fun filled story of romance, mixed up communications, some delightfully strong females and the Poor Dragons who don't know what hit them, add in the children lost, abandoned, and you will not want to put a book down till you get to the end and reach for the next one. All threw the stories run the back ground mystery of who is trying to destroy them. Happy hours of ready and finding a New best series.
The story of Ciana and Thorn as well as Ocean and Conner are compiled, along with a special Christmas story into one book. This has been one of my favorite series. Although I enjoy the stories of all the shadow pairs, Sage and Reighn, the Dragon Lady and Dragon Lord, are my favorites. I like the continuation of them and other characters throughout the series. While the story of a specific pair is emphasized in a given book, all are interwoven into the saga. I like the action, humor, and especially the romance. This is the final chapter in this series, but I look forward to additional side stories.
Dragons Gap is an exceptional place, haven to all abused and neglected shifter and home to the noble dragons. Every story was unique and caused the family to grow and grow, often the new couples getting together would be simultaneously adopting several orphans to make an instant family. So many wonderful people, so many characters, and none ever got left out, every character was a part of every story after story. I really loved not having to say good bye to any of the characters I’d fallen in love with.
And the Christmas story at the end! Oh my, all the feels, and all my love on that sweet sweet finale!!
Good story line. Well developed characters. Author needs an editor, proofreader or a better understanding of English usage and basic grammar. I won't read any other books by L.M. Lacee. Too hard to follow the story line with so many errors. the Note: I read 4 of her books. Same errors, misspelled words, misused words in all books. I read a book a day on average, and I was very disappointed in an author that has understanding of grammar less developed than a third grade student. So many errors I had trouble following the story line.
I enjoyed the Dragons Gap series from beginning to end. I will say however each story line was a little short once you got past the first 3 books. That is not to say I did not enjoy the rest and the bonus Christmas story, but I was left wanting to know so much more. I guess that is what happens with such a great series. I hope we can find out more about Frankie, Paige, Joy, and all the rest of the characters that were just beginning to explore or hadn't yet begun to explore vtheir roles in the new world order.
A Great continuation of the story of Dragon Gap! If you haven't read 1 - 5 - you've NO CLUE what you're missing! Catch the first set THEN, get this one!! You WILL get wrapped up in the story, the "feels", the drama and the love the folks have for their families and community! Not to be missed, get your own or read it in Kindle Unlimited! Thank you for your time, talent AND THE STORIES!!
I have followed the Dragon’s Gap stories from book 1 and thoroughly enjoyed them. It is too bad that despite multiple comments on grammar and sentence structure were not heeded. I expected the author to improve with time and experience as I have seen other authors grow in their craft. Unfortunately though I persevered through this series, I am unlikely to read other books by this author as the repeated mistakes took away from the enjoyment of the books.
I just finished all three box sets, one after the other. What a wonderful heartwarming tale. It shows us that we all can live in harmony even though we are different races, sexual orientations, from different religions, countries. I truly loved everything about these people. I hope you have more stories like this in the works. Thank you for being an amazing story teller.
Clean read which is total enjoyment especially when it doesn't distract from the story. Thoroughly entertaining. Does get a little confusing trying to keep up with everyone but the characters and their personalities just pull you in. The Christmas book though is a true and honest laugh till you cry and grab you by the heart book. I have loved this series and hope someday it will be restarted.
Just got done reading the Dragon's Gap series and it was AWESOME!!! All 7 books. From Reighn and Safe to Conor and Ocean. I ahead some years and laughed a lot. These books were excellent from beginning g to end and in between. Thank you L. M. Laced for a very enjoyable read.
A thoroughly entertaining series, with a few oh no moments, laughter and sadness. It takes a great author to be able to make a reader feel all different emotions whilst reading and the author did an amazing job throughout the entire series doing so. Extremely sad the series has ended.
This series is wonderful. The depth of the characters was amazing. I binged the series in less than a week because I couldn't put it down.
The ending SUCKED. What about Joy's shadow, tge twins Sage was pregnant with, Edees baby. The author left too many stories unended. Please finishe these stories.
The storyline was interesting although the cast of characters was huge. It became difficult to remember who is who and what race they are. Unfortunately there were many errors in spelling, punctuation and grammar. This detracted greatly from my enjoyment of the book.
examples sacred, instead of scared. René and André always had the accent after the e.
Wonderful characters, original storyline, great dialogue, and lol humor; what's not to love? I have thoroughly enjoyed every book in the series! The Christmas story was especially entertaining, as well as adorable. My only complaint is, it ended. I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves great fantasy/adventure stories. Be sure to read them in order.
I have read the entire series, if you can look past the stray commas and poor punctuation (the reason I gave the series a four. Not a five), the stories are good and sweet. The characters likeable, the villains not and the whole was enjoyable! I especially liked that there was no graphic violence or detailed adult scenes. Very readable for teens.
Having just read the whole Dragon’s Gap series, I really was not ready for it to end. I foresaw Sage’s babies being born Christmas Eve. So many continuing stories! I still think you need a proofreader. I hope there will be more Dragon’s Gap stories in the future.
Great storyline and characters in all books. Kept my interest. Many late nights reading, house not clean, meals skipped because I forgot. Laughed out loud. Tears shed. I really do think it would be a good idea to have a proofreader and editor. It would make it all 5 stars with me.
I love how in the series we touch on each important characters and the younglings they adopt. It would be nice to see how the world views them since they are open to the world. The adult scenes are tame enough that young refers older than 12 could read it. It took me 1 week to read and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Unique read with treachery abounding as love and bonding occurs with twists in the storyline that leads to happily ever after dragons and shifters alike. Does need some more indepth editing but does not distract from the stories.
I enjoyed the entire series, but the author seriously needs to invest in an editor. The punctuation and run on sentences made it difficult to read at times.
I love everything about this story line! The characters are wonderful. There is emotion all through the book....some sad, some satisfying and much humor. I hated to see this series end!
What an amazing series. I was not at all ready for it to end. Each couples story was so well written, the characters all integrated with each others stories. Very, very well done!
I loved each book in this series and the author has a great way of bringing the story arc intro each book but ending each one happily. The one thing that I didn't like is the fact that Joy and Ash didn't get to have their story told.
