VERY QUICK READ IT WILL HAVE YOU WANTING MORE I PROMISE... WHAT WAS SPILLED AT DINNER WHEN THE GIRLS WENT HOME FOR CHRISTMAS BREAK WAS A TRIPLE WOW MOMENT AND THE END I DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING AT ALL AND NEITHER WILL YOU..

Too short
Well I knew it was a short story, but I was disappointed when it ended at 76% and the rest was an excerpt. Decent read with a twist, which I had partially figured out. That ending, though - no closure.

The Third Wheel pulled me in with what initially feels like a familiar college friendship story, but the shift from new friendships and freshman excitement to a dangerous secret made the story much more intriguing. Londyn, Brooklyn, and Rayanne’s friendship quickly becomes the center of something far more sinister than any of them expected.
I especially liked the way the mystery surrounding Rayanne’s strange behavior creates tension. As the twins begin uncovering secrets about their pasts, the story takes on a darker edge and keeps you wondering just how deeply connected the three girls really are.
At only 59 pages, this is a quick read, but it packs in plenty of suspense and a compelling mystery. The ending left me thinking about how much of our past can remain hidden before it eventually catches up with us. A good choice for readers who enjoy fast-paced stories involving friendship, secrets, and unexpected danger.

Unexpected
The twist in this novella is definitely unexpected. The ending is memorable and caused me to re-read the last sentences.
