She's a sword-wielding princess. He's the outlaw who kidnapped her. They should be enemies, but he might be the key to finding her brother - and herself.

She devises a plan and sets out with her maidservant to rescue him - which seems like a great idea until they're kidnapped by outlaws.
But Daphne's not one to give up so easily. Realizing that aligning with their captors might just guarantee their success, she cuts a deal with the dangerously charming Gregory.

After reading this series, I am writing this review to share my honest opinions on the series. I will not provide any spoilers for any of the books, and will discuss the series as a whole, not the individual books in it.
So to start off, this is an incredible epic fantasy adventure. Our heroine is intelligent and capable throughout the series, and is a strong main character. In fact, all the characters are so well developed and intricately designed, not to mention the worldbuilding was amazing and the suspense and intrigue really kept me hooked throughout the series there is some romantic content but all the books are clean reads and suitable for YA audiences. Obviously , being epic fantasy, there is going to be some violence, but it was still presented in a way that is not too graphic. As the story goes on with each book, the plot gets thicker and thicker. To be honest, the second book in the series was my favourite, but all of them were fantastic, fast paced reads. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone who loves YA fantasy with a strong heroine, a deep and twisting plot, and loves adventure.
When I turned the last page, I had that sense of a well-rounded meal with a yummy dessert that left the palate feeling satisfied and happy. I truly enjoyed this story set and I was delighted that it came all in volume. I could go from one adventure to the next without pause. The world building is nicely done with many details that help a reader "see" it. The characters are fleshed out and most endearing. I also loved that the characters often were thinking outside the box and embracing change. There were a few twists and turns and quite a few of those laugh out loud moments. There's a dragon - so need I say more? I would recommend this to both teens and adults that love good storytelling. It was a fun romp of an adventure and I know I'll be looking at more by this author.
Loved these books! And now you can get them all at the same time, no waiting. Here are my reviews of each of book:
Fate Abandoned - Great story! Loved it! Action packed with a touch of young love. Nicely wrapped up. And then you get to the last sentence... Can't wait for the next one!
Fate Surrendered - Even better than the first one! And it looks like the third one's going to be a doozy. I highly recommend it!
Fate Reclaimed - The rest of the story.... A very enjoyable conclusion to a very enjoyable series! Lots of action & adventure and an ending that makes you think about what’s really important in life.
I enjoy stories about young women finding their own strength. Overcoming the limitations society places on them. Shining brightly as beacons of hope to others. This tale shows the struggle of one special woman's journey to her full potential. This isn't without cost. Yet well worth her perseverance.
