A fellow reader recommended this book and I’m really glad she did. It’s definitely a banger, well written and some amazing characters. Mama Lai was favorite she was too much and had absolutely no chill, was so full of life and most of all true gangsta. The storyline was awesome and that ending had my mouth on the floor.

Great Read
This is my first read by this author, but definitely not my last. Held my attention from beginning to the end and what a ending. I couldn't put it down....a page-turner. Enjoyed the storyline and these characters. Flowed really well and at a steady pace. Really loved Ciera and Ari their closeness and how they had each other's back. Once they meet the Kassom brothers their lives changes. Juelz and Zelan ran their empire, but there's some snakes slithering around. I really liked these couples together, but the drama has started with Kenya, Xavier and their so called father. Hopefully, everything will work out for Juelz, Zelan, Ciera and Ari. Especially after that ending and the chapter before. Also, I can't forget about Mama Lai and Ms. Cynthia. theyre hilarious...loved them. Can't wait to see what happens next. Job well done K. Renee

Ciera, Julez, Ari, Zelan and Ma Lai
This book will take you on a rollercoaster ride that's very good. To have a mother like Angela I would have rather been raised by wolves because she's not fit to be noone parent. I'm glad Ciera and Ari had their grandmom Ma Lai in their life because she was down for whatever when ot came to her granddaughter's and Toya slow acting self. Julez and Zel and Meek came into these ladies life right in time to show them the love thy never received from their dumb mom. I love me some Ma Laid and Zel because they were some straight fools and keep me laughing thru out this book. This is my 1st time reading one of K. Renee books but it will not be the last time. On to part 2. ***********"************************************** these ate just some of the stars you deserved from reading this book.

This Is That Good Good
This was just outta sight, and Grandma Lai and Ms.Cynthia are just the bomb. These two ladies are gangster goals. There writer paints us a story of a family that not only handling their business but were not looking for love and fell hard. The writer brings us two sisters who not only have life goals but career goals. This was just well rounded story that's written well. There is something for every one and you are going to be hooked from the beginning. There are going to be moments when you are going to scream,laugh out loud,shake your head,and feel quite a bit of anger.The story ends on a cliffhanger and you scream what and then you think yeah! Its not over.Looking for the next installment and hope it is just as explosive!

Very Interesting!
I can't believe the drama that's going on here. Someone needs to be the voice of reason for Juelz because he's definitely not thinking rationally. I can't believe for someone in his position, words of someone he hasn't seen in years influenced his decision making on Kenya, which made him disregard what he has built with Ciera, instead of investigating the situation for himself first. I just hope that everything will work it's way out, but I fear the storm is just beginning. Hoping that the drama will end soon so the new relationships can continue on the right path of happily ever afters. Great Read! Can't wait for the next installment. ReneeG 👍

Good read
This had me interested from beginning to end. Had me a little confused until i realized the story was being told from everybody point of view so it felt like the story was being told over and over. Minor grammar mistakes but other then that it was great. Juelz pissed me off ari is a fool for not telling zel mike was threatening her. Grams straight gangsta lol and I knew Xavier was a snake and Kari wasn’t dead.

I need part 2 NOW!!!
This was so good! I can't believe Jun really married Kenya after she has been gone 5 yrs. Even her own daughter doesn't get a good vibe from her. Love Zel though and how hard he goes for the ppl he loves, he also doesn't like Kenya. I fell bad for Ciera and I want her to have twin boys and come back GLOWED up. Ma Lai was my favorite didn't play about her granddaughter's.

But it annoyed the he'll out of me a few chapters where I just really wanted to get to what happened next! And who is this Kofi guy that Meek supposed to look like? Odell Beckham, I know and if that is who Zel looks like them Lord help me cause I want him lol!!! Now to part2

Misery loves company
Kenya I knew from the beginning of this book was gonna be a miserable ghost from the past and misery loves company. This book gives you the perfect fantasy of how to be black and beyond rich. These characters are living in a setting that you'd only imagine Christian Grey in and I love it!! Two good girls from the hood with nothing but good to offer literally stumble upon there knights in shining armour. Great read and very good character description.

Good Read
The storyline was great and there was plenty of action and humor. What stop this from being a 5 🌟 read was the Author having each character repeating the same dialog over and over which in my opinion was not necessary and I felt like it messed up the flow of the book. I will finish reading the series even though I didn't like the characters repeating the same dialog the storyline and characters held my attention.

Alls well that ends well! I enjoyed this series and all the drama! Angela was certifiable and so was Javier! Karma found all who had it coming! The Voss sisters both got great husbands and Ma Lai has a man now! So glad Simone met Tony as well! Meek and Toys are destined, they just need a little time. Gram Laila is funny as heck, loved all of her antics! Great series K. Renee! I must say this one needed lots of editing a lot if grammatical errors!

Great Book
This book was so good. I’m not feeling Juelz right now and his ex and probably Xavier are on some sneaky mess. I’ve never read from this author before so I decided to give it a chance after seeing all the reviews but I will definitely be reading work from her in the future.

First time reading this author this was a page turner i couldn’t put it down. Great book. I’m mad that ju did that to my girl ciera like that she was so sweet and look Kenya and Xavier have something going on can’t wait to see what that is. This book had me intrigued from the synopsis and I did not disappoint one bit. Cici and Ari’s grandma is a straight fool she is too funny. I’m gonna always be team WOMEN and I’m all for Ci moving away to get a peace of mind. Ju is letting his love from the past blind him and that is just sad. I can’t wait for everything else to unfold in book 2

This book started off a bit slow for me because I didn't cate for how the author repeated events several times in back to back chapters with the only difference really being the person telling it. It got better though and the storyline kept me entertained. Ma Lai drags you all the way into the story. She is a hilarious mess.

This book was well worth the read. I enjoyed every bit of it. Juelz was so dumb towards the end. I was so mad at his actions. Others could see what he couldn’t. I felt so bad for Ci. I am anxious to see how the drama plays out in book two.
