Grim Christmas
Grim is trying to hold it together for the holidays. Sweet addition that continues the series with the H struggling to control his beasts. He's trying so hard for his sweet mate, who loves him unconditionally. Great to see the Red Dragon supporting them, or does the messy crew help him gain stability? Loved it.

Love Grim and Ash
Grim finally is tamer or should I say Reaper is. Ash is quirky and Funny. These two bring the best out in each other. It was great catching up with the crew and seeing Christmas wishes come true.

By now, if you’ve read any of my Shifter related reviews, you are well aware that I’m completely in love with any and all the various shifters who make up the Damon’s Mountains Universe… but this latest crew holds a very special part of my heart, for they are the misfits of the misfits that work so perfectly and whole together. If you have not experienced this world yet — I cannot give enough praise or high recommendations about these stories, they really have to be read by any Shifter Romance reader to understand the draw that they have on so many people who love T. S. Joyce’s imagination.
Every year we get a Christmas present from Ms Joyce in the form of a Christmas Short for the series she’s writing in at that moment. This year we get the 4th book of the Daughters of Beasts series and their unique Christmas celebration. In some ways, Grim Christmas is both a continuation and a settling in to their crew from the events that happened in Ash Bear. It’s a short story, but one that has all the heart of this crew on wide open display. I love the changes we’re seeing in Grim / Reaper, he’s becoming the Alpha he never believed he could be and watching his continuing transformation is a lovely sight. Ash, Juno and Remi are their usual goofy, adorable selves – Kamp, Rhett and Grim are the same oddball group of shifters we first fell in love with … only so much better with their mates, and their Alpha in place. Simply put… I loved this one so much, and I cannot wait to see what Ms Joyce has in sore for us next year. I don’t know if it’s because I want more so badly, but I might have seen some possible hints — time will tell, but I’ll keep fingers crossed that we get more from Damon’s Mountains real soon.

Even though I adore so if the shifters of this series, I am especially partial to Grim. I like that he has 2 animals and 1 odd female keeps him balanced. I like that the story is building up to something with Vyr Daye and I am excited to read that one next! Well written with wonderful characters as always. RECOMMENDED

Grim Christmas centers around Grim’s first Christmas since the Reaper was born. Not only does he have Ash now as his mate, but he finally accepted the position as the Rogue Pride Crew’s Alpha.

Good
Good but short. I felt it was missing something or it was rushed. Maybe I’m expecting to much from it. I don’t like that Grim is still so damaged it feels unfinished... at the end of the last book he seemed more stable or getting more stable. And in this book it was like four steps backwards... I think it was good just not great.

DAMON’S MOUNTAINS SERIES REVIEW
I wasn’t planning on reviewing these books at all, but given the fact that I’ve been completely OBSESSED with them for the past month, it feels wrong not to write something. So in the end I decided to write a general series-wide review that I’ll put up on each book because that’s how much fun I’ve had reading these.
OKAY listen. These books are straight up trash. They are. Romance drama trash to the max. But there’s no denying how freaking entertaining these things are. They’re hilariously funny, extremely cute, filled with action (some more than others), and packed with grade-A soap opera drama. Some of the novels are better than others, but if you need to go brainless for a while and just read something fun, these are the books you need.
All the characters are out-of-this world awesome, but the real thing that sets this series apart is the world building. Joyce has created such an elaborately rich universe with all these characters and I am 100% here for it. I love love love how everything overlaps and that we get to see all of our favorite characters even long after their books are done.
To help keep everyone straight, I even created a family tree spreadsheet like a NERD (Willa would be so proud) which you can view here. Just beware of spoilers.

These books are insane trash and I’ve loved every second. If you’re needing some laughs and romance, look no farther my friends. It’s worth the Amazon Kindle Unlimited free trial just to get your hands on these.

I have a love-hate relationship with Christmas novellas. They often extend a story line beyond the initial meet and give us a glimpse of family dynamic as the H/h settle in to domestic life. Often, it's a let-down.
Joyce, however did a good job of reprising Grim & Ash for a crew Christmas that emphasized the "not-so-happily-ever-after". The struggles continue and this is when love is challenged. Sometimes as women, we lie to our daughters in focusing on the Disney Princesses and not enough on the Grims and Ashes. On acceptance, forgiveness, honesty and real love. Yes, there is a difference between True Love and Real Love. Joyce does an excellent job of keeping it Real.

Great story!
Rating 5! I love your shifter stories especially the way you connect them throughout your books. I prefer the books to be longer but know this is novella. Would love to read more, maybe a newcomer to group. Currently reading all your series for third time. I'm retired, have the time. I'm over 70 so each time I read each book its almost like my first time! Win win! Happy holidays!

This was fun to read because we got to see the Rogue Crew settling in. Sure things started out bad for them, but they ended on a high note. I loved how everyone wished on 10:10 and how all those wishes came true!

A Special Treat!!!
Grim was trying to keep it together for the holidays. But things weren't going the way he wanted. He found himself at war with his two inner beasts, and with Vyr Daye aka the Red Dragon.
Ashlynn Kane wanted her mate and their crewmates to have one of the best Christmas ever. She was looking forward to making things very special, even if she had to go about things differently when it came to the man she loved.
Whatever was happening with Vyr, I loved and respected the way he and Grim have a mutual respect for each other. One messed up alpha to another. The Rogue Pride Crew got their special Christmas.
Things are changing for the crew and I can't wait to see what life throws at them next ;).

A nice follow up to Ash Bear that digs into the MMC’s personality some more. We also get some more interesting behavior from Vyr that might get explained in the next book.

“Well,” he muttered, “I don’t know if you noticed, you little shit, but the girls in this Crew are badasses, so I’m gonna take that as a compliment.”

“Grim, I’m proud of you.”
He snorted. “Woman, you say that if I lower the toilet lid after a piss.”
And,
“I love you. Call us on Christmas. I’m showing this to your mom. She will probably cry. But the happy kind. She does that a lot. It’s a little terrifying, but I’m tough about it.”

Grim is trying to be a better alpha for his crew. He is trying to hold it together for Ash and be a good mate. The two lions in him are still at war. The Reaper is messing with him and making him feel out of control at times. Ashlynn wants to makes this the best Christmas for Grim but he is a bit of a scrooge. This the Ash and the girls first Christmas with their new crew. They have so many plans. This book was so funny at times. It had me laughing out loud. Grim is so fantastic. I love him so much. I also loved the appearance of Vyr. I can’t say enough about this book or the series. Really all of T.S. Joyce’s books. You should go read them all right now. Congrats on another fantastic book T.S. Joyce.

A short but very sweet and funny read, we get to catch up with the girls and the very sexy Rogue Pride men on their very first Christmas. I think out of all the Characters Grim has got to be my favorite that whole paragraph with him and Ash and he tells her "I'm here" and his eye colored changed which is the sign of The Reaper and he says "I'm here too and The Good shows up as well says the same thing as well and of course don't for get Rebel the Pebble he's there too LMBO Grim with his Multiple Personalities and his talking Rock that is constantly giving him crap it's absolutely hilarious!! Where she comes up with this I don't know but I absolutely love her sense or humor and I Love her work and please don't ever stop writing!!!

Grim and Ash
Another fantastic read to finish a fantastic series!!!!! This is Grim's first Christmas outside his former crew and he is struggling to keep steady. Ash loves Christmas and is determined to give Grim a great one. I totally loved this book. It gives us a insight of what happens after their AEA. I love how Grim is trying to be a better mate and Alpha and see him forge deeper relationships with Kemp and Rhett. Can't wait for the next series wich I am assuming will be about Grim's former lion crew!
PS: and what is wrong with the the red dragon! I thought he was settled with his mate Riyah and his crew, the son of beasts!?

Great ending to this mini series
This is a great ending to this mini series and really ties up the last book. This was my favorite of the series and you really have to read in order to understand and like this book. It’s sweet, spicy, funny, and special. TS Joyce has really built an amazing world and one that feels real when your reading it. It hard to put down. My favorite will always be Damon’s mountains but these spin off series are great too.
The only thing I’m missing and the author reads this, is what happened to Rhett’s sister? Is she ok? Will she have a book later on? I need to know!!

Ash is the reason accepting her mate all of him and working towards a future. It is a sweet shifter romance. You would have to read Ash book to really appreciate this story for the impact it should have. Christmas meaning, friendship, family and wishes and Christmas Miracles so sweet.

While this could be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend it be read in order for maximum reader satisfaction and to prevent spoilers.
This starts after the end of the 3rd book in the series, featuring Ashlynn and Grim. This story focuses on how the crew is adjusting, or trying to at least, for their first Christmas together.

I've read them all. This one hit me right in the feelers. I cried, I laughed, I couldn't put it down. Ash is so much like Bash, I love seeing the goodness carried over to Ash. Grim, the character blows my mind. Brash, savage but smart and caring, a quick learner. Read this. Read them all. I wait impatiently every month for a new book can't wait to see what's next.

This is a 10 star book
Knew this was going to be another great story, the love Ash has for Grim has made him a better Alpha than he thought he could be and her love for the crew is bring them closer together and making the crew think as one. Now I hope that Vyr can come to terms with what is going on with him, maybe a short tale about him and his crew is needed to finish his story.
