In the stunning sequel to SAWYER, ANDREI, part two of the Quintessence sequel, finds our quintet in chaos as they deal with the aftermath of Devon's uncharacteristic behavior. With Andrei having to call on his grandfather for help, secrets are uncovered that may break or make this household of six.

After Sascha lost the baby, her and the whole family is in mourning. As they try to pick up the pieces of their lives, they are learning what they need from each other to move on.
As they do, Sascha is finding herself more insecure about herself and her standing in the relationship, causing her to become more jealous of women who flirt with her men because she can’t openly claim all of them without a huge scandal.
In the meantime Kurt is working with a production company that is turning his books into movies.
And they are all preparing for a long stay in the country of Veronia where Andrei has been working with the King on the country’s economic issues.
This one was still pretty depressing. But not as much as the last book. The emotional aftermath of the miscarriage is rough to read. But at the same time it’s sweet to see the guys surround Sascha with love and whatever else she needs from them to heal.
Andrei has always been my favorite so I was happy to have more of his POVs in this one. And I’m very intrigued by where his and Sascha’s Dom/sub relationship is heading. He’s just plain sexy. I love him.
Devon is still very hard for me to connect with. I don’t hate him, but he’s honestly like a big ignorant child despite being a genius. I just can’t seem to soften towards him.
The overarching story is getting interesting! We met Joseph Santorini (if that’s really his name) in the last book when he helped Sascha after her fall. But in this book we find out that he’s been stalking them and also that it appears he purposely orchestrated Sascha’s “accident”. I’m curious what his motives are! Is it connected to Sean’s case possibly? I wonder.
Overall definitely better than the last book, I’m curious about this new story arc and where it’s going. I’m hoping for less depression and more sexy times in the coming books though!

This was heartbreaking. I tought this series was over after loved by them but was suprised when i saw Sean in a newsletter and realized the series continued. Sawyer picks up a few years after loved by them and Tin, their son is now two years old. I was surprised to read that they kept their relationship secret. In other Rh books the characters have come out and dealt with the gossip and news articles but they didn’t. Saweyer contains a misscarriage that was unnecessary. A fall that changed all their relationships forever. And a planned one at that. I am so pissed about that. I really enjoy reading about there geniuses and little Tin. My only wish was that they came out to the public about their polyamourus status so that they could deal with the public and officially claim each other. The nonsense of “this is my partner” annoyed me. Having to read that other people hit on them because they were not saying they were taken got old quick. And i got where Sasha’s jealousy came from. Normally jealousy is a big turnoff in books for me but she can’t even tell the others that she or her men was taken and to back off.

The problem with a really great series like this one, is that when you have a cliffhanger it makes you want to tear your hair out when the next book isn’t released yet.
I REALLY want to know what happens next to this great and weird family of 7; 5 brilliant men, their loving partner and their small son.
As Sascha and her men recover from their loss, they start to explore different aspects to their relationship, both sexual and emotional. Sascha feels rocky and insecure and her men are trying to work their way through how to best help her. Once again the author handles the subject matter with sensitivity and compassion.
Sasha and her men are back. Andrei is trying to keep Devon from having a record with these assault charges. Devon is accused of being paranoid. Sean is still trying to figure out who keeps taking the kids. Sawyer and Kurt are just busy.... it's been 2 months since Sasha went into premature labour due to her fall and she still doesn't wanna talk about it (honestly who can blame her) but it seems like she may be getting back to herself just a little bit, atleast with the help of het men. She is going through some changes and tends to be a little jealous now. But the s€x scenes are hot and I wanna know what happens next!!!!
As a reader of paranormal books I delved into paranormal romance I then fell into RHRA via the paranormal route, so I didn't know what to expect when I took the 'quintessential journey', but having read Serena's 'Trialpha' series, I knew I loved her writing already and I thought what the hell, but even I didn't realise the WHAT THE HELL!!! I was going to get! She is a brilliant writer that would make anybody wet!
The writing is still going somewhere in not comfortable but it is still a good plot. The characters are amazing. I am definitely going to give where credit is due that the author is not changing her writing style of not giving her character's dues. I love how the guys are handling the incident (I'm still mad about that) and that they are getting closer. I'm not happy with the style of sex that the book is getting into but that's just my preference.
I liked this one more than Sawyer (#6) purely because I got to be in Andrei's mind more than we got to be in Sawyer's (which was not fair to me). This was great on showing how the clan handled the aftermath of the tragedy from before and grief. I'm sad that things were glossed over regarding Devon's predicament. It was barely there even in the background. Overall I love Andrei, so I loved having this story.
So in love with this Quintet family and little Tin ❤️
‘Kurt bought her perfume. Sean had a tendency of buying her jewelry, Sawyer lingerie, Devon candy, and Andrei usually went for flowers.’
They are all dealing with such tragedy it’s so hard to process. I love the new Dom/sub element as couples do evolve with time and comfort. Looking forward to more steamy scenes!
I expected something more. This is an emotional book as the household is still reeling after the accident. Sascha is going through a 'renaissance' of sorts that makes their relationship evolve but I needed something... more. My biggest problem was that after reading the book I could not tell you what it was about exactly.
Such a good book! The feels though... more and more is revealed in mystery as they all recover from a travesty. Tin is the cutest thing! Him and Deven. Quite the duo!
As I'm writing this I'm also trying to pick up my chin because it just dropped! This story was full of that. When you read this don't go in thinking you have an idea of what's going to happen because you have no idea. Be prepared to be surprised and surprised again.
Wow, another cliffhanger! Ms. Akeroyd does it again with another amazing chapter in Sascha and her guys’ lives. I love Tin copying Devon, so cute! I can’t wait for the group to get to Veronia and to have the two series mesh.
Really?! I went into book two assuming the sniffles were over, but NOPE! My household thinks I’m demented crying over a book! Interesting cliffhanger and if I didn’t have the next book RIGHT NOW to read, I would be sooooo upset!
Another wonderful book in this series. Andrei deals with the aftermath of Sasha’s miscarriage and Devon’s arrest. Sasha struggles to feel closer to normal again while Sean finds out shocking information about Devon’s case.
Oh man that was some cliffhanger. Is it bad that I want to jump in this book and help Sascha. And I just want to say I believed him always go with your gut.

Every book in this series is better then the last. The love between them all is so swoon worthy. I wish I had my own harem. This is a must read series.
Several clues, for want of a better word, came together in this volume that had me saying, "Hm, something is fishy here," in the previous book. I can't tell you what my suspicions were, because that would give too much of the plot away, and Serena seems to enjoy unfolding this story like a fine napkin at a china setting. In view of this, I was delighted to see Sasha's baby grief move along. Not to be too overly heartless, but she does have five men at her beck and call. If one has a headache, there's always another to choose from. I get her insecurities, because we all have them however unfounded, but her boys should have really insisted she see a therapist.
Now into the last episode. Thank you, Serena, for listing the series in Kindle Unlimited. Loving the series has been so much more uncomplicated because of that.
I absolutely love this series and Andrei is no exception. The emotions are still raw from the loss of the baby, Sean is still trying to find out who keeps taking and killing children, and Andrei is trying to keep Devon out of trouble after his unusual behaviour. I was glad to see that Andrei’s grandfather come in again as I love his character.
