Feeling much more like an old 70’s play on a cursed object, the story at the center is an intriguing look at aging and the elderly. However, the story slogs its way through random medical issues hyped as danger without much fear besides perhaps getting leukemia or having a stroke. It all just felt tepid, even the climax.
