About the author

Kathy J. Jacobson is the author of the Noted! fiction series and two mysteries. She has also written devotions for The Word in Season (Augsburg Fortress) periodical.
Kathy is an avid traveler, having visiting all fifty U.S. states and six continents. She loves the theater, hiking, and the Wisconsin Badgers, but her true passion is writing. Her first novel, Noted!, debuted in 2015. Since then, she has published six more books.
Kathy's first mystery novel, In The Secret Heart, was published in 2021 and a sequel, A Change of Heart, in 2022. She is currently working on a third mystery in this series.

Kathy has done it again. This book reaches the heart and deals with many emotions and changes. When I thought the series was wonderful the sensitivity, compassion, and love that come through make this book in the series my favorite. It is a must read.

Disclosure - I am related to Kathy Jacobson. This fact gave me a different perspective as I’ve read the five books in her Noted! Series. I am amazed at how she created this wide-ranging group of characters whose lives we get to know from book to book. It was fun to see how she wove her diverse interests into the stories of Jillian, John, and all their friends and relatives - show biz, music, food, sports, Peru, Tanzania, medicine, and, of course, faith. The books are romances, but one of their themes seemed to be the importance of surrounding yourself with good people and being supportive of them so your relationships will be deep and long-lasting. Another message she emphasizes is the need to recognize what priorities you have and being willing to take realistic risks to protect those priorities. In these books, Kathy encourages her readers to have the priorities of friendships and family and having faith that God loves us all and wants the best for us. Congratulations, Kathy!!
