↳ Ten years have passed since Ty and Abigail broke up but underneath all that “hatred” is still a strong attraction. They have done their best to avoid each other, even though they have mutual friends and both work in the music industry. They cross paths again when volunteering to work with kids in a summer camp in Seaside, Oregon. Abigail was supposed to be staying in a beach front rental but her manager forgot to make the reservation which left Abigail without a place to stay, that is, until she sees Ty walking into the lobby. They strike a deal and stay in a beach rental together. Basically, they get another chance at love but not without forced drama and placement of emotional band-aids on deep rooted self/couple problems.

➟ Steam factor: low - sexual tension > intimacy.
➟ Recommend: Sadly, no.
➟ Secondary Characters: LIKED. The group chats were fun to read. 😂 😂 😂 I also enjoyed Ty’s interaction with Connor. Even though it was somewhat unrealistic, I thought it was super sweet & honestly was one of my favorite parts of this novella.
➟ Character Development: ehh, could of been better. They were supposed to be “more mature” but they acted quite childish and couldn’t have a conversation without hitting/tackling each other. I get RVD was trying to make them seem playful during the back and forth situation but it just portrayed them as childish.
➟ Relationship Development: Okay. It was a back and forth situation for 17 chapters then became fast paced towards the end as they were building a foundation again/starting their relationship in chapter 18 and engaged by chapter 21.

"Love had a way of being both the best thing that could happen to you and the worst thing you could feel."
"You're my love. You're my chaos. You're angrier than hell, and I never want
to tame you."
