Michael Blythe brings a charming folk tale that will leave you wanting more and evaluating yourself as well.
While the folk tale was short, the author found a way to allow readers to connect with the characters easily and you will find yourself rooting for Matthias as he works to defeat the shadow with the help of Samuel!
Blythe combined elements from martial Catholicism and Germanic mythology seamlessly to challenge readers to face the darkest parts within us all. Highly recommend this quick and inspiring read! 5/5
