Michael Wexler, the author and main character, recounts bumbling thru an addictive relationship with gorgeous and confused Stark during his freshman year.
Wexler’s playful yet self effacing tone made me empathize with “Mikey”and thus invested, I kept turning the pages of this novella to find out what happens next.
Wexler’s change up of writing styles to staccato or whimsical to reflect his state of mind added to the reading enjoyment.
At the end of the book, I found myself wishing for more of MW’s story.
