A paranormal phenomenon...a mysterious curse... and an unsolved murder in a small town.
The Haunting of the Hadleigh Estate
An unsolved case in a small town that has gone too far. A young couple moves into their dream home only to find a dark presence lurking from within. For Cassie and James, the small town of Playa del Sol seems too good to be true. But they soon experience terrifying supernatural encounters tied to the deadly secrets of an unsolved mass murder. Can they solve the mystery in time? Or will they face the same doomed fate as the tenants who came before them?
The Haunting of Quenby Mansion
Mystery and horror surround the seventeen-room vine-covered plantation house. What was thought to be the solution to all of Evelyn Carr’s problems is only the beginning of her nightmare. Creepy neighbors arrive unannounced, the town hates her for inexplicable reasons, and there’s something inside of the basement. As a determined private investigator, Evelyn is hell-bent on learning the truth before the house tears her and her husband apart, figuratively and literally.
The plot was good in this book, but there were a lot of repetitions and even more grammar issuses, misspellings and left out words. It interrupted the flow of the story for me. I would have probably given three or four stars, it there weren't so many of these issues. There were a lot of twists and turns and some of the events that happened were very original, especially in the last book. There was also a lot of wordiness, in repetitions and descriptions. Too bad, because I really liked the plot and the ending too.
What a twist and turn to discover who did it! I love the details of the mansion, antique furnishings, hidden corridors, and the ghosts varied personality and interaction with the new daughter, Evelyn, and husband, Terrance. I could see the action in my mind as I read the novel!
This was an extremely well written book. I enjoyed wandering the trials and tribulations with Evelyn and her family. All the twists and turns made this story well worth reading.
It was okay. The author is seriously in need of an editor and the story is thin in places, but an interesting concept and storyline. Nice light reading for when your brain can't deal with anything heavy.
Easy to read, and interesting plots, especially like the family with the first one. All were good and one got caught up in the stories from the beginning.
I love this & I can't wait for more. I will be also leaving a review on Goodreads @ Amazon. And letting everyone know about it. So i gave it a 5 Stars.
