This book was simply amazing. It has everything an avid book reader wants: epic battles, adorable romance, witty humour and best of all: MAGICK. I especially liked it because of the portrayal of many different women as primary characters, as well as some LGBTQ+ characters, which is exactly what we need in this era of empowerment. SDC Forster inspires young people to be their own hero and to believe in themselves. An awesome sequel to the first book in this series ('A Witch Awakens', which I also recommend) and a heart-stopping ending which makes you long for the next book. Altogether an awesome read for fantasy lovers and anyone looking for an empowering book.
