Ok so this book definitely caught my attention... It started off interesting and continued to build up and had my emotions all over the place and shaking my head... Till the end of this book I was all the way in... Just when it built up to its peak... It left me with a cliffhanger...
I really liked Tiyanna... I just wish she could have found the happiness she deserved and didn't have such shady people in her corner... Most people would think from the outside looking in that Tiyanna has a great life... She lives in a nice beautiful house with her husband Charles and 5 year old son Chase... She is a stay at home mom with fancy cars and jewelry and nice clothes... But inside the home is the worst possible place to be... Her husband that she loves so much is a jerk... He is abusive to her, he is on drugs and he is cheating on her with her supposed to be best friend... Who wants to be stuck in this type of relationship and life... She is trying her best to escape this relationship... Yet no matter what she does she can never really find that window of opportunity she needs... Not only that but the one person that she always confides in is the biggest snake there is... While her best friend Brie is being that listening ear that Tiyanna needs, she is using all of this information to her advantage to try and live Tiyanna's life...
Charles really makes me mad... Why is it that because he is out here being no good that he takes it out on his wonderful wife... Yet he treats his side chick like gold... Really... I am really looking at him sideways... Then because of his stupid drug habit he is messing up his money... I just could not stand him...
Brie is a piece of work... I did not like her with her sneaky self... The one person that has been in her corner when she had no one else she is doing dirty... Like how can she even call herself a friend... How can she even look at her best friend in the face knowing that she is cheating with her husband... ugh I can't stand women like that... Now see she has been getting the royal treatment right now because she is the side chick... She thinks that he is amazing... That is because she is not getting the abuse that Tiyanna is getting... How will she handle it when it happens to her because we all know that eventually it is going to happen...
Now with Rohan, I really like him... He came in just the right time... I love how strong his presence is... Just this accidental meeting with Tiyanna has caused a shake up in everyone...
Tiyanna has a little more confidence... Charles is feeling some type of way because he sees this change... Rohan may just be the knight and shinning armor that Tiyanna needs... Good then Charles can be with Brie and leave Tiyanna alone to finally be happy...
But nope just when Tiyanna finally found some piece of happiness... Here comes Charles about to snatch it all away... But why is he so mad when he is out here acting like he is single anyway... Wait a minute... What just happened... Is Tiyanna okay? Did Charles finally bit off more that he can chew? Is Rohan able to save Tiyanna from this horrible relationship that she was stuck in... Did the son Chase see what just happened? Man now I have to wait for part 2...

Oh hell naw.... I don't know what this author did to this story, but I could not put this book down. This author caught my attention reading Tiyanna's story. Any type of abuse is something that really hard for someone to make a decision to get out of. It can be easy to tell a person what you are going through, however to tell a best-friend sometimes is a no no for anyone to do. Charles had issues that he put himself in and did not know how to deal with them so he used verbal as well a physical abuse to get what he was struggling with and abused Tiyanna. I thought the characters we well developed in this story. I thought that Brie was jealous because of the way Tiyanna was living and wanted what she had including her man. She knew what her friend was going through and didn't think the same thing could happen to her, but little did she know she got a piece of it. I liked Rohan which I was a little hesitant at first because I thought he was just like every other man. Now I can't wait on book 2

Whew Lawd. With a husband like Charles and a best friend like Brie. You don't need no enemies. Charles and Brie were both trifling and scandalous as hell. Tiyanna was being subjected to Charles physical, verbal, and emotion abuse. He had her scared of her own shadow. Tiyanna thought staying married to this monster was for the betterment of their son but sadly that's not the place for her or little Chase. What's even more trifling is that she's confiding in Brie when Brie hoe ass is a snake. Charles treat Tiyanna like an enemy and betraying her behind her back. He's also a damn junky. Rohan want Tiyanna and is not stopping at nothing to get her. He even knew Brie wasn't worth a damn the first time he met her and tried to warn Tiyanna. Tiyanna had plenty of times to leave Charles evil ass. I hope Rohan and Maxie was able to get to her in time because the way this ended had me on edge

Great Book
Tiyanna is a great women she’s way to good for Charles selfish behind I just wish she realizes her worth before it’s to late. Rohan on the other hand sounds amazing and I hope he’s able to take Yaya away from Charles and give her the life that she deserves. Charles ain’t nothing but a sorry excuse of a man that loves to do drugs and beat on his wife because of his own insecurities. To make matters worse he’s sleeping with her Bestfriend and he got her pregnant. Briesha is just as trifling as Charles I just don’t understand how can she stoop that low and do her Bestfriend like that. Maxie seems like a pretty cool dude I just don’t like the fact that he’s still low key feeling Briesha after how she did him and her friend. I can’t wait until part 2 comes out I’m hoping that Maxie shot Charles instead of Charles shooting Yaya.... we shall see!!!

Charles ole dusty a$$😡😡😡
I finished in about an hour, and I hate Charles and I hate Brie. Yanna was caught up and I hope she gets some strength in the next installment. I hope she whoops Brie's lil dusty tail and I hope Rohan kills Charles. It's been a while since I just genuinely hated a book character, but Charles and Brie are horrible. This book was really good, but I have to admit at first I was alarmed by all of the characters' points of view and the length of the book. But all in all, the characters were developed enough so that you could get a feel for them and my heart certainly went out to Yanna. Looking forward to part 2.

A MUST READ
This book was so good from beginning to the end and what a ending. Enjoyed the storyline and these characters and I couldn't put it down. That dang Charles and Brie freaking trifling and scandalous as they come. I can't stand neither of them and can't wait for them to get exactly what they deserve. So loved Rohan and Tiyanna together and he's exactly what she needs. She needs to find herself and her self esteem after dealing with Charles and I can't wait. I can't wait for her to boss up. Now, that ending was totally unexpected and I can't wait to see what happens next. Highly recommend this book. Job well done Prenisha Aja.

Please tell me part 2 is being released soon! This was a 5 star read definitely! I couldn’t believe how Brie her best friend was really a snake like that to be her listening ear & then being with her husband & getting pregnant by him🤭 it’s crazy cuz it’s clear something is wrong with Charles & he needs help she’s no different he’s going to do the same thing to her as he did to tyianna....I’m so glad Rohan came at a perfect timing cuz now it’s like he’s her knight in shining armor. I love picking up a book by an author I’ve never read before and then they become another one of my favorites. This storyline snatched my attention with a flow that will keep you reading because you just have to know what happens next. Character development was so well developed that you truly love or hate the characters. I recommend this five star read to all who enjoy love, drama and action. I look forward to seeing what happens in the next book, and reading much more from this author.

Definitely Feeling Some Kind of Way
Soooooo this is going to be so hard without giving too much away. First off this is definitely a five star read that captures your attention from the beginning. Brie and Charles are the absolute worst. How a girl could sleep with her best friend's husband is beyond me but the way they carry on is nothing short of appalling. It also makes the story that much more interesting. Now in comes Rohan.....the man we all dream about. Hopefully Tiyanna makes it out or is it too late.....anxiously awaiting part 2.

I knew from the jump that Brie was just as trifling as they come and that Charles was a cowardly doggg. Tiyanna was the best wife and mother she could be but it all seemed to be in vain.Men are so quick to dish things and can’t take them so Charles cocky self was taken aback once he realized Rohan, a real man had stepped on the scene and gave his wife her confidence back.And just like the coward he was,he created total chaos.I only hope that “pow” was Maxie coming toTiyanna and Rohan’s rescue!

I pray that Tiyanna can get away from Charles and I hope her brother whoops his ass real good. Charles doesn't deserve a wife like her and I hope Ronan can really show her how a woman is supposed to be treated!

1st read by this author. Storyline well written as different points of view were shown. Ya-Ya found herself in a difficult situation that only she could decide how it would end. Rohan seemed like a good guy & his caring nature was genuine. Charles & Brie truly belonged together as their wickedness went hand in hand. Brie was the worst type of friend to have. Good beginning to story, looking forward to next part.

I love your books. They make me sad, upset, smile, and laugh. I couldn't put this book down and would rather read on my lunch break than talk. I want so bad for Tiyanna to be happy. It seems that the world is against her. I'm very happy that her mom and brother are in her corner because the husband and best friend are so deceitful and evil. I can't wait until Charles gets dealt with. Brie is not exempt either. Fantastic book!!!

How they just gonna cheat on her like that. In situations like this I blame the supposed to be best friend. Even if he did try you you were supposed to keep it stepping. I don't know who I dislike more, Charles or Brie, Tiyanna has been dealt a dirty hand. The craziness she endures, and allows, is shocking. With friends like Brie who needs enemies. Maxie better steer clear. Rohan is a smart guy but he may have gotten more than he bargained for with that cliffhanger.

I love Rohan for Tiyanna...that ending hurt my heart because I was not ready for that. I hope she’s ok. This is most definitely a must read. Shocking and heartbreaking
This story by far has to be my favorite. I love the simplicity and complex characters and how they are intertwined. I absolutely hate Charles and Brie. I love how simple Tiyanna is and just wants normalcy. My heart breaks for her son Chase because he knows way more than Tiyanna thinks he do. I'm on the fence about Rohan maybe in pt2 he will win me over

What a cliffhanger...
My first read by Prenisha Aja and I can say this won't be my last. Charles was all types of dirty, from his drug habitat to his cheating. I just hate that Ya Ya can't pull herself away. And who needs best friends if they can't be trusted. This book gets you hooked from beginning to end. Can't wait for pt 2. Bravo!!

Tiyanna makes me wanna punch her because she knows everything but don’t wanna piece everything together. I love Rohan and Maxie they are definitely some bosses. Great read
I must say this was a great book from beginning to end . I understand why Tiyanna won't leave Charles because she scared but when Rohan afford her help she should've ran. Briesha is so wrong and I can't wait for her and Charles to get theirs. I hope Tiyanna survive can't wait for part two.

OMG
This was a really good book. Couldn't stop reading. Great storyline and character development. Lies, secrets and backstabbing is what you get when reading this book. Tyianna needs to be dealt a better hand than what she's been given. I hope Charles gets whats coming to him. Rooting for Rohan to rescue Tyianna. Can't wait for part 2.

Omg Charles needs to die ASAP. You doing the most and wanna keep eyes and hands and feet on Tyianna. That’s a no go. Brie need her butt beat for real then wanna be jealous if you don’t sit your I can’t keep my legs closed self down ugh l. It was a great read. Outstanding
This was definitely a page turner that made me want to fuck Charles up. Her friend Brie was a backstabber that with friends like her you don’t need no enemies. It’s sad that her son chase knew what was going on. Rohan is going to be a great man to show ya ya her worth. Can’t wait for the next part. Awesome job
