i will not, i will not, I will not be embarrassed at the fact I did read this book 'cause there is a HOT dude on the front??! such a great read ... love it when that happens ... bearded dudes!! series. bearded dudes in flannels?? r they were Old Spice?? Colorado ski resort. easily pleased ... must read. mtn life! homemade anything is the best!! always!! don't ya think?? ( ;

Not for me

Right from the beginning, there were errors. I don't expect a book to be perfect, but almost every grammatical error should be fixed before publication. The errors are distracting and make a book seem sloppy and an author seem unprofessional. Both characters are too much. They're arrogant and it's not that they're confident. They are, but they're also arrogant. Dax is cocky and slutty, and I hate both traits. He speaks about his "relationship" with a casual partner, and it's disgusting. He knows she wants more and he doesn't do enough to make it clear he feels otherwise. I don't care for her, but it's still gross for a person to string another person along. If I can't like the main characters, I can't enjoy a book.

The basic idea for the story is good; the execution is shoddy.  The writing is immature, word choice is off a lot, the sex scenes are cringe worthy and/or laughable. (Seriously, I laughed through the second one and not for a good reason.) 

It's like reading a really rough draft. There's so much that needs to be fleshed out and developed more. If this went to an editor and/or a proofreader, they need to be fired stat.

Congressman Stone's son and fiancé, also stars in their own reality TV show, were planning on getting married in a few weeks and wanted it to be held at the resort Dax and his family owned. Of course, the bragging rights for Hunter's Mountain Ski Resort meant Dax would be in charge of publicity on the resort's website and social media pages. And contrary to want he thought or wanted, he was charged with helping Oakley Padin, the wedding planner, with anything she needed.
Oakley had grown up watching what could happen when couples struggled financially. She watched her mom pack and leave her and her sister with their dad. She had no education, had never worked, and had no money. She just couldn't take the life anymore and couldn't support her children. That made Oakley determined and driven. She was never going to be a damsel in distress. That's why she started her own business as a wedding planner.
K.C. Crowne's newest addition to the Bearded Brothers Series is a great addition. Easy to read, a plot with enough intrigue, angst and sexual tension to make it interesting and a romance with a happily ever after. What more could you ask for?

I am an avid reader of romance and Ms Crowne just has a writing style that completely appeals to me. This resort is just magical and the Brothers that help to run it are equally as amazing. I have had the pleasure to read other books in the Bearded Bros series, however, Dax was the one that I, personally, was impatiently waiting for. Oh man, K.C. has delivered again with this impressive and impeccable series. So, why not follow this superbly crafted storyline, complete with the engaging characters to match? I promise that you will absolutely adore Dax and Oakley's hard won happily ever after.

I was incredibly fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of Built and Bearded in exchange for my honest/voluntarily given opinion and I truly could not recommend this book, as well as this series, more. Should you be a fan of romance, like me, then I encourage you to pick up any one of K.C.'s books. Trust that you will never be disappointed.

I love these Hunter brothers. This is Dax and Oakley’s story. Dax is the computer geek of the family. He handles the blogs and website information for the Ski Lodge. Oakley is a wedding planner and has her biggest job so far. She has been hire to plane the congresswoman’s son’s wedding. This could launch her wedding planner business if she does a great job. She is paired with Dax to plan and get things ready for the wedding at the lodge. Their attraction towards each other is instantaneous and their chemistry is off the charts hot. They both have the wedding on their minds. If it goes off without a hitch, it will help both of their businesses. Will they be able to stay together even though they live in different states? I loved this story and it’s great seeing the brothers and the rest of the family. This whole series is good so far. I highly recommend getting this book and the rest of them.

K.C. has written a sweet romantic story that held my attention until the last page was read. Dax is one of the attractive owners of a mountain resort with his brothers. Oakley a beautiful wedding planner has been hired to plan a wedding to be held at the resort. Dax and Oakley work closely to ensure the success of the wedding. Although a confirmed bachelor Dax's attraction to Oakley keeps him thinking of her throughout the day and night. Oakley is focused on her job and tries to ignore the electrifying chemistry between the two of them. Can they stay professional but still act on their feelings? “Built and Bearded” is an entertaining story that flows well and has wonderful characters. If you're looking for a sweet romance with some steamy bits, this book is for you.

A 5 Star K. C. Crowne Book

I absolutely loved this book by K. C. Crowne about Dax Hunter a 32 year-old mountain man, six feet tall, ruggedly built and handsome as ever with his full beard and long flowing hair and 28 year-old Oakley Padin a wedding planner. She’s been selected for a very high profile wedding at Hunter’s Mountain Ski Resort. It’s love at first sight for this previously unattached man who had avoided any romantic attachments. There’s bound to be turmoil for the two because she lives in Utah and he resides in Colorado. The story moves at a great pace as these two experience a great sizzling sexual chemistry and have a great time together. This is the third Hunter brother who discovers love at first sight and I’m hoping the fourth brother will do the same.

Dax and Oakley’s story is an awesome addition to the Bearded Bros series!
Oakley is a party planner and her next job is at the ski resort Dax and his family own. She meets Dax and all her thoughts of JUST work quickly disappear.
It’s a fun, exciting and so steamy. Dax and Oakley can’t seem to stay away from each other. Their chemistry is magnetic.
They both find what they didn’t even know what they were looking for. Friendship, Love and a future? But will a horrible accident take Oakley away from Dax forever?

Dax is my favorite!!

Dax Hunter works as the social media and advertising manager for the Resort. So when the weddings and events come to the resort, he plays a big role. But when the wedding of a Congresswoman's son come to the resort, he will have to play nice with the wedding planner and make sure it looks good for all involved.

When Oakley lands the wedding planner job for the Stone's, she is over the moon. But when she sees the men she will be working with, she is a little nervous, especially seeing Dax's picture. But that does nothing to prepare her for meeting him in person. But when the big day comes, will they survive?

This is such a great story between the characters and shows us that love at first sight rings true! I received an ARC of this book from the author.

Oakley has a business where she is a wedding planner. She grew up with her mother leaving when Oakley was young because she didn’t have enough money to take care of her children. Oakley swore that she’d work hard and have money to take care of herself. She is hired to do a wedding at Dax’s family ski resort. The two take one look at each other and are attracted but she tries to ignore it and do her job. But Dax can’t stay away and wants to help her and the sparks fly! Loved Dax and Oakley's story, instant connection, carer minded, great family and friends, chemistry, romance, a bit of drama/action and strength shinning through. I really enjoyed the character development. Not five stars as in a couple of places I felt a sub plot fizzled out or didn't deliver enough for me and on a personal note I couldn't connect the model on the front cover to how Dax is described in the book. However it was a well written story which held my interest from start to end. I am voluntarily leaving this honest review after receiving an ARC. Looking forward to the next in the series.

Oakley is successful, smart, beautiful and confident and Dax finds himself drawn to her. At first Oakley is trying to resist his charm but eventually her walls come down. They are the perfect match. When tragedy strikes and Oakley fights for her life it is Dax that won't leave her side knowing that she is the woman of his dreams.
This is book 3 in the Bearded Brothers Series and once again nestled in the mountains of Colorado. Characters from book 1 and 2 return and make this the perfect love story.

Built and Bearded is the third book in K.C. Crowne’s Bearded Brothers series. In this contemporary romance, Ms. Crowne continues the saga of the Hunter brothers. In this book she focuses on Dax and Oakley’s romantic journey. I admire and appreciate Ms. Crowne’s skill with literary devices of characterization, rich dialog, descriptive language and dual POV. Dax and Oakley are strong and multi-dimensional characters. Oakley is dealing with being jilted a week prior to her wedding. Dax is a contradiction. He is an IT geek and social media expert with a well-built body and a caring heart. When they meet their relationship is electric. Ms. Crown’s mastery of descriptive language captures her readers attention with vivid scenes. I am looking forward to finishing this series. Well done, Ms. Crowne.

The chemistry between the two of them is strong and Dax knows that she is the one. Can they make it work and find happiness together? A great book that I really enjoyed. So sweet and so romantic. A love story with “grit"
Oakley and Dax are not “typical” romance characters, as you will joyfully discover. She is an ambitious wedding planner. He is an ambitious member of a family running a “super successful” ski resort. Their story is certainly anything but boring! You'll love the characters and their story. The perfect final book to this wonderful series!

Oakley is a wedding planner going to a mountain resort for the wedding she's planning. It's important and can really impact her successful career. Dax is one of the brothers who co-own the resort and runs social media for the resort. He has to work closely with Oakley for the wedding. They are instantly attracted to each other but Oakley tries to fight it.

This is the third book in the series and it is about Dax, not exactly the happily ever after. Their mountain resort is now going to host a very important wedding and he has been appointed the one to help the wedding planner.. Oakley can’t believe it, she was hired to be the wedding planner for Jackson Stone, the eldest son of the Congresswoman Noel Stone. Now Oakley and her best friend Haley have only two weeks to pull it off. This is when she met Dax, he is supposed to be her go to for planning the wedding at the mountain Lodge. It is amazing how these two came together. This book had excitement in it, danger, and just the love of your partner and your family. I loved the happily ever after

This is a sweet romance between Dax and Oakley. It's instant attraction when they meet and their chemistry is hot. I was hooked from start to finish reading their story. It moves quickly and smoothly , is well written and has an entertaining story line. I enjoyed and would recommend reading.

An insta attraction romance that didn’t disappoint. I loved that Oakley’s character was sweet and career oriented, but you could see that she had chemistry with Dax. Their journey was hot and entertaining from start to finish. I can’t wait for the next story in this series.

Their romance is filled with lots of steam, resistance, some laughs, and ultimately an HEA that is so wonderful, you'll want to start over from the beginning just to relive it! This is really a wonderful story, it's well-written with wonderful likable characters. There are no cliffhangers. Dax is a sexy alpha mountain man and falls head over beard for the wedding planner who is coming to the resort, the feeling is mutual for Oakley. This is a sweet steamy read. Definitely recommend this book.

What another great book in the Hunter Brothers series (Bearded Brothers) with Dax and Oakley getting together. I absolutely loved this book. I am rating it 4 stars though because of all of the errors and misspelled words just because it's distracting at times when you are so into the story and have to figure out what the word is suppose to be.

Ok so I'm at book 3 now I'm going to book 4 a bit shocked with all these books because how can you sleep with someone and not get pregnant no condoms no birth control but years later only get pregnant that's the only downfall I have with all of these books but the storyline was very nice with all of them thank you Miss crown for a lovely series

The author hooks you in right from the start and you cannot put the book down. I cannot wait to read more!
